Hey Olmeca Gold! I hope you know you're something else. You really are on a different level than the rest of us. This video was incredible, thank you so much for posting it. I am absolutely voting for you for CSM 14 and I'll do my best to convince my viewers to vote for you too!
Hey Bjorn. I always appreciated how amazing of a human being you are. Quite honestly your type of person is very rare in Eve. Constantly positive even when shit tier things are happening. Probably the #1 reason people love your streams, and why I supported them. On plenty of occasions I failed to maintain 1/4 of the positivity you have. I'd rather be on that level more than any levels on anything you think I'm at. I hope you keep up your content even when the game is declining. o7
I have to say it's been a while since i have watched a 30 min eve-video. It's well written, organized and has value. Congratulations! I hope you get a seat in the CSM !
Absolutely fucking brilliant!!! I'm a 12 year veteran. Very few pilots in EVE get my respect, but your solo activity is most impressive! You have a true spirit of EVE and my maximum respect!
I originally commented about balancing audio too; but after watching the whole thing through to the end, I can only salute you and your amazing efforts! o7
I must say - I have been watching eve content on TH-cam for quite some time and it never ceases to amaze me how deep and complex this game is. Having said that - this documentary has been eye-opening. I am still speechless - the production value, the narration, the mechanics explained and even the politics and how CSM influences the shape of the game we all play - brilliantly done. Will be looking out for more content from you - just hope that the recent changes did not push you out of the game. Great stuff!
Thank you for getting me into EVE. This video might be 5 years old, but its still reaching and inspiring people \o/ 5 months deep and never going back.
Completely agree with you there! I quit right after they tried to make the game easier for others and forgetting about what lured us into it in the first place, and I started out it 2009 .. so right after they destroyed the PLEX system, i had enough! :/
Same, all the veterans with T3 ships picking on the nooblets with 3 months experience behind them, and they wonder why the numbers are decreasing... I enoyed the PvE aspects, learning the new things, but when some bored of out of their minds ship comes accross that againts you can't do anything, except sit in high sec all day and then MAYBE be safe, yeah. From time to time i get in the mood to try it again, but i remember, how pointless it is, just because you are outnumbered, outgunned, outsmatrted.
I both loved and hated this video I loved it because its fantastic I hate it because now i want to return to EvE....... i only just managed to get clean from space crack
Thank you for posting this video. I am just a solo player (solo as in "one box", not "multi...") playing intermittently and was not aware of the side of Eve presented in your video. You are a valuable asset to Eve.
This is one of the most put together campaign videos for any game I have ever seen. I appreciate the effort, expertise, and dedication you have put into this video. I can only hope that you somehow monetize your game play so that you can become better and do more!
I genuinely had no idea who you were until about 2 weeks ago (sorry), i feel genuinely happy that a player such as yourself has chosen to represent and communicate all of the issues 'the little guys' face in finding content and ways to disrupt mega-farming. This is by far the most relocatable, impressive and (frankly) frightening CSM call videos I've seen so far in EVE. Ducking good job, keep it up!
This is badass. You've inspired me to get back into EVE. I love how innovative your gameplay is and this underground culture you've discovered. Freefolk live! Break the wheel!
Goons are important to the ecosystem of the game. I don't think EVE Online would still exist without y'all. You give the game a real, authentic antagonist and that's important. CCP needs to understand that the people who fight goons are also important to the ecosystem or else shit gets boring for everyone. Community is great but these games are only fun for as long as people want to kill each other. Respect
Okay so I subscribe, like the video, share to my group of friends, and finally put a comment on it. Just keep up the good work and you already earn a vote for the next CSM.
I've probably watched this 50 times and still I keep coming back. You are a true artist. I hope to be able to be even 1/10th the pilot you are one day.
Olmeca Gold congrats on the win! Looking forward to seeing your input to the CSM. Phenomenal video also, been showing to my non-eve friends as an example of player ingenuity over (arguably questionable) mechanics :)
12 and a half years i have been playing EVE and nothing, NOTHING, i have seen so far compares to this in its brilliance, even from the time of the Iron Armada's pipe bombs. You for sure have my vote and most likely the votes of the rest of my wormhole corporation 7o
Just discovered you. How fun! I will never have the time to play this game like you do, but it is fun watching someone do it well. I shall continue to play casually and one day count it an honor to be blown up by you!
Amazing video, really interesting stuff, but please look into rebalancing the audio. The background music is far too loud and it makes it difficult to hear your voice. Other than that keep up the good work!
The command destroyers (booshers) have a unique item that micro jumps allies and foes within their range randomly away. So he would warp a fleet of them on top of drones and scoop them when they disconnect from the rorquals due to range, and I guess rorquals have some shield ability to protect the mackkinaw, so he booshes the mackkinaw out of that and bombs em. I'm a noob so this might be wrong too 🤷♂️
Thank you for an inspirational video. It’s really good to know one can make the biggest group feel at least some of the unease they inflict upon others. I appreciate that was not your purpose but am grateful of the effect. Your game play is not about good vs evil. Rather it’s about achieving objectives, exploring new game play and perfecting your abilities. I am impressed with your discoveries and ability to effect some balance in game without asking CCP Devs to do it. You have my utmost respect and my vote! Success to you and your campaign.
Holy crap mom I'm famous! I'm in this video twice! First time, I was on that first BB titan kill (its in my bio :D), and second, I'm the guy who said "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW .... That's fleet gonzo!" -No hard feelings Olmeca, FC fucked up and fleet warped everyone with the rolling ships, making it easy for you. May as well have warped blindly to a gate in the days of RnK
Lol! I really liked that reaction back then, still like it today. Such positivity. I think we play Eve for those moments that impress us and excite us. They stick with us. And it makes less of a difference whether we are in the receiving end of things.
@@ProjectFreeFolk funny story, that titan almost got me kicked from my corp/alliance as it was technically blue. I ended up getting kicked for something else (saying in BB public that i knew where some allied super ratters warped to when neuts entered local).
Even tho I am an Imperium member and was just enjoying my fun content on holidays with small group (othenly dying but we all have fun) , I have noticed far back in 2017 that this is going out of control , basically I have just moved in Delve and decided to try rorqual as support ship (has 4 barges) , I have prioritized tank over drones , and also have fax standby to help , also usually I keep my carrier charter in the same system , and I have always managed to avoid being caught (or survive until umbrella arrives) , meanwhile in rest of the Delve rorquals alts just flooded in without any giving a shit about protecting themselves , including supers that doesn’t even have ozone to light up cyno , I don’t even speak about fax alts . Maybe this is because of my paranoia that have developed during ratting in region of Cache , or just feeling that game design had failed and need to reworked from the scratch . Mostly there ,as being said , people has lost the feel of fear and paranoa , and that makes it thrive so hard , keep your best effort to wear off this pink glasses of rainbow ponyland, to show what eve is used to be ! Great video by the way , keep it high .
delve is super fun again now without the umbrella, I actually docked up all my caps and spend my time between fleets doing fun stuff again. The lack of risk im nullsec really needs to be addressed. always fly dangerous
Congratulations on making it to CSM 14!! Now... remember what your aims are and do not let us down. Those of us who are with you agree to your thoughts... ...for I think this game doesn't need another CSM to represent a nullsec alliance or coalition. It doesn't need 6 people representing the same mega empire. It doesn't need people buying votes to earn a seat. What it needs is CSMs of a mentality that values creativity over n+1. Emergent innovation over the grind. Good fights and explosions over asset acquisition and item craze. And game skills over metagame skills.
I was and still am a total newb at EVE Online, having spent most of my years on the game either turtled up in hisec researching the game or just running hisec DEDs... I had one instance kind-of similar to that DED cloakie tengu though, years ago when I sucked slightly more than I do now, with me in the role of the cloakie, when I was taking a Magnate through nullsec after I got too ballsy with wormholes and went into one that closed behind me while I was running data+relic sites. It took me something like 15 jumps or so to get back into hisec and I ended up going through multiple populated systems... only now do I realize that it was dumb luck that I wasn't torn apart, since I had no bookmarks and wasn't using D-scan properly and so was just bouncing from gate to 100km from an asteroid belt or planet to 100km from gate and MWDing up to it (a horrible idea in retrospect, I know, though the whole set-up was horrible for a hisec newbie.) One of the gates I was trying to go through had a Malediction sitting a few kilos out from it and there was a large warp disruption bubble near the gate that would've snagged anyone warping directly to the gate from the other gate, since IIRC it was a bottleneck system. So, there I am, 100km from the gate and a little further away from the interceptor, I immediately turn around and start burning+overheat MWDing away from the gate. From what I saw later, I can only assume he was the only one there. Anyways, the Crusader starts burning at me and gaining on me by a kilometer a second or so, so I can only assume they were overheating a MWD as well, and this is where I'm pretty sure my own idiocy saved me. He gained about 40km and was only 60km out or so before I remembered, HEY, I had a cloak! He was still too far out to get a lock, so in the middle of a MWD cycle, I cloaked, let myself go forward until my ship completely disappeared on my screen, and then veered off to one side *hard.* I was going in a straight line the whole time, so the interceptor followed the exact same line that he was going and I was going, since previously, I had been going straight the *WHOLE TIME* and so I can only assume he picked up on that and thought I'd have just continued going straight anyways. He ended up getting close to where I'd disappeared before flying circles presumably still trying to decloak me, almost clipping me once, and kept hovering around the area for almost thirty minutes before hurling insults in Local chat (why yes, I am a "pussy coward" thank you :D) and then leaving out the opposite gate. That was... an unusual experience of what I now assume was ineptitude both on my side of things and the Malediction's side of things. Note: I only had a T1 cloak at the time as I was still training up a *lot* of different and mostly unrelated things, which made it all play out all the more weirdly, and I can only assume he was also trying to predict my actions as if I had a T2 cloak. TL;DR I suck and I met a PvPer that sucked as much as I did. Luckily, he didn't have smartbombs.
Hi & GZ! I really appreciate your innovative approach to the dinosaur-mentality of laid-back empires. You certainly stirred things up! And I love you for continuing doing that. Mindblowing brilliance :)
I'm mostly a solo player, doing my own thing and hell I don't even have an alt account so the stuff you do is something I'll never achieve. However, I can certainly appreciate having someone on the council that pushes back against the big alliances just wanting more wealth. You have my vote!
So this is what multi-boxing is like, man, that's pretty cool, but also very autistic. Makes me wonder just how many unique players there actually are in the game.
Way, WAY less than a decade ago. In my alliance everyone double-boxes in fleets, triple or even quadrupleboxes if capitals are envolved. Larger groups probably still do 1ship = 1 player, but so many others try to counter that with running multiple accounts, that I do feel it affects the total number of players considerably.
He makes it look really cool and glorifies it to all hell, but really all he is doing is ganking defenseless players that are minding their own business.
Alright, that was awesome, even tho I'm not fond of the multiboxing parts of EVE, it still takes real dedication to manage everything like you did in this documentary. o7
Always loved this video and come back from time to time to watch it again. Do you have any plans to make another one and update us on how your "extermination" is still going? Would also love to hear your thoughts on the current and recent changes that have taken place in game. Stay Free Olmeca :)
I was amazed at the fact that you were operating multiple accounts in battle, that must have taken quite a lot of training. As french and dutch people would say "chapeau" .
I started playing EvE four days ago... Found this accidentally... This video is so satisfying, and yet so terrifying at the same time. And this guys is talking about trillions and 80 accounts, haha. Respect!

Justification for the ganker, the griefer.

You have my vote!
except its disingenuous when they have 63 accounts....yea you can do alot if you no life 63 accounts.
I've never played this game but I watched the whole video and now I want to vote for you.
Fine, I haven't written a proper Todo list for Eve in a while, we're did I leave my pen. (Goes to the Eve Forums)
i'm not even into EVE Online and I loved this video! Keep it up!
Amazing work you have all my votes!
The dedication and skill you have is mindblowing! Fascinating!!
Never played EVE but watched all video, amazing to see the strats used even tho I don't understand most of the terms used. Keep it up!
He makes it look really cool and glorifies it to all hell, but really all he is doing is ganking defenseless players that are minding their own business.
Alright, that was awesome, even tho I'm not fond of the multiboxing parts of EVE, it still takes real dedication to manage everything like you did in this documentary. o7
Awesome job on the video!
Music is great. I can see and hear everything just fine...
Yeah, I don't seem to have the issue other people are complaining of.
This is the best Eve Video I have ever watched.
Olmeca Gold for CSM! You've got my vote sir, great video and a great pleasure flying with you :)
The dedication, the patience, the isk! Just world class. (That's how ~10 years of eve looks like).
Always loved this video and come back from time to time to watch it again. Do you have any plans to make another one and update us on how your "extermination" is still going? Would also love to hear your thoughts on the current and recent changes that have taken place in game. Stay Free Olmeca :)
Well the CSM elections are incoming so stay tuned :)
@@ProjectFreeFolk Right on :)
Omelga Gold, for the few not the many. MAKE EVE GREAT AGAIN
Solo and multiaccounting is a two different things i am right? You can't do anything in eve if you are alone.
Some people prefer to preserve the term "solo" for a single account. I am not one of those people.
@@ProjectFreeFolk Love the not hear to make money, yet has over a Trillion isk part.
If I had played I'd vote for you man, playing the game as it's supposed to.
Your imagining of combat tactics is on another level. O7
This documentary was excellent. I hope you make a lot more videos like this
I was amazed at the fact that you were operating multiple accounts in battle, that must have taken quite a lot of training. As french and dutch people would say "chapeau" .
I just subbed, and I'm only halfway through your incredible documentary!
I started playing EvE four days ago... Found this accidentally... This video is so satisfying, and yet so terrifying at the same time. And this guys is talking about trillions and 80 accounts, haha. Respect!
You are the hero we need, but not the hero we deserve! You have my vote and i really hope you make on to CSM
this is one of my favourite videos on youtube i check back on u once in a while too see if there is any new video out. gg
I wish u best regards Olmeca!
Good old times ♥♥♥
