Vampire Survivors: Still Simple and Incredibly Addicting

Talk about simple and addicting at the same time. On the surface it doesn't look like much, but the depth in character choices and build variety is realized once it hooks you in. I didn't play it around the time of it's hype, yet I still had it in the library. Has some great music, the way it's visual feedback is applied makes you wanna see how much more powerful you can get, all in the span of 30 minutes. It's success had created a surge of "survivor-likes" that take inspiration from the game, all the while adding their own spins. For the asking price of Vampire Survivors, it's worth every penny, doesn't ask for much, even during it's hype. It's a fantastic game. I've recently getting back into survivor games after having played vampire survivors on release. haven't played it in a minute, but been playing soulstone survivors and brotato which are some of my favorites, great vid!

have been really enjoying you talking about different genres again, I mean, shooters are fun, but seeing others genres is also cool :D I wish I had more to say about vampire survivors itself but I haven't played it, I have played 20 minutes till down on PC and magic survival on my phone tho, and these are really fun experiences, especially magic survival for it being on a phone, is really addcting but in the best way possible, and these survival-likes just keep coming, recently I found one with nikola tesla on steam haha it's crazy to see what people do with a simple framework, but anyways, great video man

It reminds me of Hades, but maybe thats because its the only rougelike i played for longer than one or two tries

@@kierenkowe If you're looking for alternatives, then Death Must Die is worth checking out. That game I think is a lot closer to hitting that Hades vibe with it's artstyle.
