I got a lot of these wrong, yo - but the Family feeling giraffes I was right on! That’s at The Living Desert Zoo right? Love that place!!! My family used to live around the corner from there and it’s a top 3 my kids love most from California.

The first one of the drinks got me. But in hindsight, it makes sense the flatter picture would be more versatile. Useful info, I'm gonna take into consideration for my upcoming shoots.

Yea it makes a difference and it totally depends on who you are selling to, my images and concepts are very “western world” and we wright left to right, if you do images for cultures that wright right to left, I would compose with negative space to the left

3:20 - maybe stupid question but if you make photo with just legs or hands of people you must have model releases or put it on the editorial , journalist section ? or you can without problems put this normally as commercial photo - like photo of objects, animals ?
If it’s just hands or feet, and you can’t recognize the person or any logos or tattoos then you can sell as commercial RF

You mean the AI generated sales and the contributor fund? Thy use images that are on the platform to train AI and then pay contributors the percentage of the image that was used to train AI to generate the final image, so If they use your sky and the sky is 15%of the final. photo they they pay you 15% of the sale price via the contributor fund, I'll dive a little deeper an dsee what else I can find! Thanks for the idea!
@@wollertz yes. The contributor fund. I find it hard to understand how Shutterstock decide which photos or what kind of photos that eligible for data licensing. Some of my submitted photos were "qualified" as eligible for data licensing, but why that photos and not the other?
Recently they changed how they review and accept images (2 months ago or so) if your image doesn’t qualify for stock or would have been rejected in the past it is now accepted into the AI database, so nothing gets rejected anymore it just won’t sell as stock it will be used to train AI and then the same AI calculates how much of the image was used to generate the final image and how much you are entitled to financially
@@wollertz oh I see. Put it in simple words, data licensing is only for the unworthy images. In your perspective, is it good or bad? What's the best practice to it? Do we opt in or out?
Who told you physics is wrong? It's sailing, people used to travel that way (with the wind obviously) because motors were invented…
Quite a few people said the physics were wrong because the blower pulls the air and later experlls it, so it cancels out, I kept arguing that by adding the umbrella it would work 🤷♂️ at least now I have proof 😁
@@wollertz They are just stupid, they wouldn't say that for the wind in a sail but with a blower, they make up non-sense and believe they are the smart one saying it while they are just the dumb one in the end…
As much as I value your opinion and experience as a photographer, I am one of those who think that you got the physics wrong. If your boat is moving forward, it is not because the blower is pushing the umbrella. It is because the shape of the umbrella is inverting the airflow, making go backward, and this is why you are moving forward. It acts like the thrust inverter used on a jet plane to slow down on landing. You can tell by the ripple on the water that is what is happening. My guess is that you would go faster if you got rid of the umbrella and pointed the blower backwards. Although it will not be as whimsical, it will be more efficient.

You can move because air deflected from the umbrella, not by pushing umbrella like someone maybe think. There is all right with physics.

There are some images of mine that are slowly increasing in sales, I haven't even 10 sales for an image yet, but I have only been submitting to stock for about 9 months. Can't wait until I get a 100 downloads for a image, then I'll buy you a cup of coffee.

I’ve said it many times stock takes time, some of the images I used as examples have been online for many years, but if you do images in a weekly or monthly basis, you will be se securing a slow and steady income. Beat of luck!

I want to know your monthly earnings on different agencies. Please make monthly earnings videos, with showing some top selling images of that specific month..
those videos are going to start disappearing, stock agencies have been sending out emails specifically mentioning sharing earnings content on any platform, so as a content creator/contributor I have to be very careful with what post if I want to keep my account open.
