This Sniper Rifle Took Over 3 Years To Build!!

  • In this video, I FINALLY present my Mk13 Mod 0 clone build. Between all the components I had to find, waiting on the rifle to be put together and waiting for the suppressor, this rifle took just over 3 years to build. But I'll tell you what, it was worth the wait! This rifle specifically was inspired by the Mk13 Chris Kyle used. I'll be sure to showcase this rifle plenty in the near future! Big thanks to Nautilus Ammunition for sponsoring this video. Check out their IG: @ nautilusammunition

Excellent shooting. And the can tamed that .300 WM, which was kicking like a mule on your first round of shots. Awesome.
I also get inspired by the military models of rifles. For example, Sgt Irving of the 3rd Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment carried a Knight Arms SR-25. With the MLOK hand guard, it had the designation of Mk 11 Mod 0. I have a Windham Weaponry R16SFST-308 in the same caliber. But I changed the stock to a Magpul PRS Gen III. And my barrel is a 4150M chromed moly barrel.

Very Nice! Just finishing the build for my MK14 mod 0 that I had in Iraq. I found the man that got the parts from DRMO. The feeling of having my own rifle from the war and the shots I took with it is beyond articulation.

I know that feeling so well! Just last month I got done building my own Chris Kyle clone rifle, only I went with the tac .338. It took time to source and save up the money for all the parts but once I had it sitting there infront of me, freshly rattle canned, I felt so accomplished. I've yet to put a round through it after completion but when I do I'm going to take a moment and think of Chris.

I am most impressed with your shooting accuracy just using that forward stock forked rest! Got to be a lot correct tensions on barrel fit, action bedding, good harmonics, including your shooting form. My older brother (and I) should would have liked your current scope and suppressor; he put together a Springfield action 30-06 bench rife in the '60's. That inspired me to do a semi sporter in 300 Win Mag in the '70's, tuned as well as most sniper rifles; a non suppressed 300 WM makes you pay on longer range days, as you know. Your rifle looks like it really wants to shoot, and no doubt, having custom ammo as tested is a real boon.

I love how this channel has slowly morphed into a unobtainable, gucci service clone channel. I remember years ago the Mk12 MOD0 that was far from clone correct, to the MK14 EBR, and now look where we are. A fricken 1 to 1, clone correct Mk13 MOD0. GG man.
700y, 2nd hit on an 8 inch swinger. That first hit at 1k was equally impressive. What a phenomenal system, worth every penny, and the 3 years wait. I like how you're playing it off as if it's no biggie, but inside we all know you're losing your sht just racking them at 1k.

First things first; nice rifle! Your build is what would be referred to as a MK13 "Mod 3" due to the adaptation of the KAC MK11 Suppressor (a MK13 Mod 0 would lack the ability to mount a suppressor of any kind ). This is the only difference between the two, however, and many Mod 3's began their life as Mod 0's originally. Not trying to nit-pick, just wanted to throw that out there!
