For everyone complaining about how the M200 shown in this video has an A2 grip, stop pretending that was the deal breaker for you. Seriously, if you can afford a rifle that costs $11,850 I'm sure you can afford to add a $30 grip of your choosing. **misses shot** "Damn A2 grip screwed me up!" Get real guys...

On my deployment to Afghanistan in 2005 a certain SEAL team was trying out the M200 along side the Barrett 50 BMG. I was with the aviation unit that supports them and we flew outside the wire for the testing and yes they let me shoot it. All I can say is WOW!! We were hitting man size rocks at a mile. If I had the money it would be in my gun collection no matter the cost per round.
Wouldn't something more compact and light like desert tech HTI be more practical in combat situation tho
@@NOSEXER it would but DT wasn't around back then. They choose a NEMO Arms 300wm which was bad to the bone. They were looking at long range contact weapons then.
Nordic Boi No because this weapon is made to be fired from very far away hidden with terrain. It’s not something you’ll be running around with shooting people. It’s meant to hit targets 1-2 miles away.

This is my all time favorite weapon. Man I’d take a mortgage out to get one of these. Used to compete in long range shooting and had the chance to shoot one and I’ve never felt that kind of craftsmanship in any other gun
Just got into long range shooting this year, perfect hobby for social distancing. I found the Triple C range this last summer and wow that range is big! Great video and thanks for making the purchase that I will likely never be able to make!
Probably one of the less ideal guns for long range shooting / plinking, especially considering how mediocre it is in accuracy for value.
Finally someone made a proper video of this legend, couldn’t find one anywhere. MW2 nostalgia

That round and rifle a are indeed something special. I like how despite it not being a .50 in length the projectile is almost the same but even more pointy, makes up for the amazing ballistic this platform have

In the slow motion sequence, when the brass gets ejected, sounds like a 6 inch length of pipe hitting the floor. Beyond cool. This and the H&K PSG-1 are unicorns among rifles.

I dont know if very many people know about this rifle other than CoD fans being this rifle is about 13yrs old or so. The Intervention is just one of those iconic guns.

Hi Texas Plinking, I finally got to see one one of these rifles in the .408 at a gun show today, well actually yesterday in all black (rifle and scope - Schmidt & Bender). It is an amazing Beauty - Beast, I had seen a .375 a few years ago and finally got to see its big brother. Can you say WOW?

hi, we love cameras on target to see the landing (slowmotion is super cool), gun chronograph, and watch the dmg to visualy measure the energy of the impact, those things are pretty awesome. @Ase MacGyver .50 BMG can be commonly found for $5 a shot, or even cheaper if you buy the linked ball ammo made for the M2HB machine gun.
What Are You Looking At? The rounds are actually around $8 each (small difference i know, and that was based on price last time they were in stock on the website), and can actually be reloaded for about $3-$3.50 a round. The gun is a lot of fun to shoot, as is mentioned in the vid, being so heavy, it absorbs a lot of the recoil.

Awesome rifle. This rifle in my opinion is at the top of the food chain when it comes to long range accuracy, reliability, quality, and pure adrenalin.
A matter of fact you just happened to see this in youtube recommendation and you immediately clicked when you see it's the Legendary sniper M200 Cheytac.

Love the look of the gun, but For the price honestly I'd buy an M82. It's semiautomatic, Has more than enough effective range for range shooting (my local range has up to a 500 yard range) and, never thought I'd say this, but Ammo is cheaper!
I think they both do the same thing as the jaw dropping aspect but if you're planning on shooting it regularly, yeah the M107 or M82 has all the craziness but slightly more attainable. Which is hilarious to say about it...
Don’t get me wrong the Barrett is cool but something about the intervention is just cooler to me
I'll go with intervention. Personally, i like bolt action snipers and i don't think you need a semi-auto for such a high caliber. :)
