Brilliant shocks. Why did Polestar decide to use a dust boot that doesn't protect the entire shock shaft and leave it exposed? Mine have failed prematurely and I bet it has to do with external elements getting onto the shaft and passing/working through the seals, further degrading them and quickly.
I have a volvo s60 polestar engineered and absolutely love this car , wouldn’t mind if polestar would give me a discount on a polestar 1 lol …. Definitely would buy more cars from this ppl really well done cars .
@@PolestarCars awesome. Any hints on when that might be? Sorry just so excited and cant wait. Will there be advance notice to the public before reveal?
@@laurensvanhoorn2811 I don't jack up the front to make adjustments. I don't even jack up the back... Though, all you need is an inch or two more in the back to make it a bit more comfortable to adjust. It just takes a bit of good dexterity to do it without a jack, but it can be done! It helps to put a shop towel over the rear tires to keep your arm from getting scratched up from road debris, but other than that, I'd say practice doing it so you can make adjustments on the road as well.
The Öhlins DFV dampers allow you to choose from 22 different suspension settings to emphasise performance, and a tailored feeling in the Polestar 2. You can read more about the specific settings on polestar.com/polestar-2/performance-pack/adjusting-the-ohlins-dampers
@@avigator Did you ever have a Situation where it was really needed? But good point but I guess together with a traffic light detection it would be very edgy.

Will the polestar 3 have auto adjustable dampers vs manual?
We'll share all details and specifications when we reveal the car!

We're glad you're as excited as we are! Unfortunately, at this time we have no timings to share. However, we can assure you it's worth the wait 🙌
Absolutely love them. Please let us know which Rear Damper Adjustment Extension Kit we can use and if it possible to guide them inside the trunk.

Beautiful video. Will sample this in my next investing video. Thank you
If you adjust the damper characteristic, the spring characteristic will stay the same, correct? Or do I get this wrong?
That is correct! The way the spring reacts to load will still be the same.
I think there’s should be an option on the touch screen to adjust them instead of doing it manually cuz it’s not easy at all
i dont see anything special about the Dual flow valve in the images, anyone can clarify ?
What the spring rates for the performance pack?

@@PolestarCars thank you but my question was what are the spring rates. The dampers are different
For details on the spring rates, you're welcome to contact us at Polestar Support. You can find our contact info on polestar.com/polestar-support.
@@PolestarCars Thank you
Are the standard dampers from Öhlins as well? Or is it only the performance?
The standard dampers are Tenneco ⚡️

Yes, that's right! 🙌
The reviewers of this car nearly always miss the point of these dampers
Please make the new Polestars more quiet on the inside. It needs more soundproofing or something
It needs ANC with a system to detect police and ambulance and only let that through
@@saladien9987 How about other cars that honk the horn?

@@saladien9987 Traffic law mandates that you hear the other road users, especially warning signals like a horn.
@@avigator yes but there is cars with ANC so they must have a white list for certain sounds
