Your car looks sooooo sick!!! =) Probably a good video to show as I'm sure many who own one might not have been shown how to do it... I remember finally getting a test drive in a PHEV of the XC60 when we were shopping for one. The dealer only had a Polestar engineered PHEV they just got in and said it is very firm in the suspension. No worries I said and softened the dampers. WOW, can you do that the sales people in the UK said...(Not kidding). It's a shame it is rather fiddley to change the back. And in reality I prefer to be able to change the dampers from inside despite the Öhlins goodness in the P*Engineered Volvos. Had a modded SAAB 9000 Aero as my first car with adjustable KONIs, but in reality I only changed those dampers twice a year when swapping between winter and summer tyres. And at the odd time I had to drive pensioners a long way hahaha.
Thanks so much 🙌 Yeah though it could be a nice video to make. I'm actually not surprised over your experience... I've been thru similar experiences. Both with Volvo's Polestar Engineered versions and also Polestar's Performance versions. Comments like "you can adjust all the dampers under the hood". No.. Or "you don't need to adjust those in the rear". "There's no point adjusting the dampers". Heard so many weird comments regarding the Öhlins 🤣 So not surprised anymore.. Lack of training or general interest for their products.
I love this car and really hope to purchase a similar build in the coming year. One major cause for pause has been the Vmax limit. Would love to get your thoughts on this. I really enjoy doing spirited driving on the weekends but being limited to 170kph really makes me doubt this otherwise wonderful car...
The rear adjustment seems a little tedious. Do you think Volvo could have had a similar way of adjusting the rear as is the case with the front ? Perhaps something accessible from the trunk, or, is that not possible for the back of the vehicle??
It's actually pretty similar. Haven't driven them back to back, but sometimes I would say Öhlins in comfort are even MORE comfortable than standard T8.. So there's no downgrade at least in comfort
Yeah definitely. Especially when you go from the two outer positions. Comfort vs performance. It's much firmer now. Wouldn't say it's uncomfortable but it's on the firmer side 😎
The two-faced S60's just a keeper! It's so awesome. The XC40 is also a nice car, but when compared to the S60?I know Norway's a known wallet r*pist when it comes to buying and owning anything non-EV 😂. But still, I still hope you will keep the S60 for as long as possible.
Yeah, wish I could keep it for several years. It's such a pleasure to drive. Maybe also one of the last real drivers cars by Volvo. Electric cars with their instant acceleration are tempting, but not super amazed by the implementation of Google infotainment, and lack of ESC sportmode. And yeah. As you are mentioning. Cost.. Right now the S60 are really expensive to use on a daily basis. Fuel cost and the road tax are burning thru my wallet 😒

Har du lite bilder på bilen? Galet snygg 😍
Great video Kristian. Can’t wait for my P2PP to arrive.
Glad you hear to enjoyed it 😊 That's a great car you're waiting for
How is the ride comfort and handling of the Ohlins suspension in Comfort setting vs. a standard S60 T8?
It's actually pretty similar. Haven't driven them back to back, but sometimes I would say Öhlins in comfort are even MORE comfortable than standard T8.. So there's no downgrade at least in comfort
Hi Christian, do you feel the difference while driving?
Yeah definitely. Especially when you go from the two outer positions. Comfort vs performance. It's much firmer now. Wouldn't say it's uncomfortable but it's on the firmer side 😎

shit, it's boring in my s60R, I have three buttons in the cabin, comfort sport and advance, just press quickly and easily.
