Morrigan was a great romance, because you can't just do the basic "simp for character until she loves you", you actually had to engage and give your own thoughts about what was going on. The writing in KOTOR 2 is something that I didn't realize at the time, because I was about 9, but it planted the seed of a lot of philosophical thought in me.
The moment the ink dried on the contract with EA there fate was sealed now the top tier devs have left and they resorted to rebooting old franchises in order to attract customers
Absolutely agree on ME2, still one of my favorite games of all time (as is KotoR). Tried the first one after but it just felt kinda janky after playing ME2 first, so I never finished it. 3 was actually pretty good as well, though I get it when people complain about the ending. Thank you! ME1 was definitely rough, but I pushed through it and ended up loving it. And now with the LE it's much improved.
