Im happy with everything (referring to Blue Yeti X) except for the de-esser. The only good result I got was on -43dB (though I don't know what settings to put down in the ... , I went with 8kHz, 0.5, 1ms, 100ms and -10dB), but I will test that in a future recording. My "s" are just so strong, maybe because I'm German (I get constantly told my "So" is rather pronounced as a "Zo" from English speakers), but it's really frustrating. Let's hope this does the trick
Hello, can anyone answer me why my MIC refuse to get picked up by G Hub? i done every fix. i have uninstalled by device manger, activated it in Sounds, both record and playback, i have tried to reset the actual mic to 0 but i got an error. as in Device manger it shows up as a Yeti classic and i have also tried to reinstall G hub while removing my headset from it. and still no success. why will it not recognize the blue yeti ? i want to play around with bluevoice but it doesn't get detected. but it works fine even with out it. so what i'm i'll doing wrong?

Just wondering though, is it better to only use (Logitech G Hub), just (Nvidia Nvidia Broadcasting Software) or both as it says to disable (Logitech Noise Reduction) if you are to use the Nvidia thingy. Can I still use the High-Pass, Gate, and all other settings and only only disable the Noise Reduction from Logitech if I want to combine it with Nvidia? I currently have the Yeti X.
Logitech Ghub isn't allowing me to see the bottom of the screen where all of the other options are. I can't even scroll down to see the rest of the bottom of the screen. I have never had this problem before. I know this video was 2 years ago but do you have any feed back you can give or advice on what to do about the bottom of the screen in ghub not showing.

this is really frustrating me, as my friends on discord are always telling me I'm either too loud or too quiet, and whenever i change my settings on g hub, it interferes with discord and alters how i sound, same with GeForce experience, it gets involved with my audio on discord, same with obs as well, I'm starting to give up, i can never get it right, I'm using a blue yeti and I'm always trying to dampen background noise, as i have noisy family members outside my door and noise from neighbors in their gardens when my window is open, idk what to do anymore
sadly ghub doesn't have this nvidia broadcast anymore and its impossible to downgrade cause it forces it's removal even if you disable automatic updates.

I didn't understand how to record the audio because the record button is just a sample and I can't export the audio. And then I went to the "Audacity" software and I recorded while leaving the "Logitech G hub" software open, .. and then I pressed "exit", the software closed and I record again in Audacity. and then I listened to the 2 recordings and they are the same. I have the impression that the fact that the "Logitech G hub" software is open during recording has no influence on the recordings. in recording software. My voice sounds nice and clean when I listen to it in the Logitech G hub sample, it's great but now I wish I could record and export with the same quality. but it's not possible, the beautiful voice is only in the logitech sample but not when I record with Audacity. How do I save and export recordings with Logitech G hub settings? Or Audacity has already recorded with Logitech quality without me realizing it and if the 2 sounds were the same it's because even when I close (also at the bottom) the software, the microphone continues to record with the previously selected parameters? like it stays in the memory inside the microphone? I did not understand anything
@@nalyd3538 After testing recording in Audacity, the settings are automatically applied, so you need to select the microphone settings, close the software, and then the settings will be automatically applied during recording, in any recording software... if I understand correctly
Briliant video - I've copied your setting and will test then out later. I've tried to find and download the Nvidia software but there's three options and none appear to integrate with my G Hub. I've recently been having mic audio quality issues since i switched from the Blue Sherpa software to the GHub, my audio sounds very tinny, and has distortion when i am talking louder. Any suggestions? Also, on the Blue Yeti there is also a physical gain knob, what position do you have yours set to?

Hi, I just started messing with my brand new Blue Yeti mic and have tried your settings along with my own presets but for some reason every time i listen back to one of my audio tests, the audio keeps repeating words and glitching/stuttering. Not sure if this is a problem anyone knows about or can help me with? Not sure if this can be it, but I am plugging the Yeti mic into my Macbook Air M2 which only has USB-C ports on the side, so i am using some random USB to USB-C adapter that came with my laptop case. It seems to be connecting but maybe that is what is causing the weird audio issues?
Amazing video, simple and right to the point and my mic is sounding 10x better! will ask do you know a fix or what could be causing an issue where the mic voloume will become quite a bit louder when I just talk a little louder than useual? it seems to have the normal audio level, then jumps to 3x that if I go over a certain threshold.
Not off the top of my head but I will ask if you have compressor setup for your mic. A compressor setting is supposed to normalize loud and quiet noises to a more reasonable listening volume.
@@LTColSmash well that's the weird thing, I turn compressor off, it happens WAYYYYYYY less so I really have no idea what is happening, had this mic for 6 years so hope it isn't a fault with it but gonna keep playing around with settings to see if I can get it sorted :)
You should be able to save your audio settings in G Hub. If you look under microphone there should be a CREATE button. This allows you to create a custom preset and save those settings. Unplug and plug in your mic as much as you want after that.
Thanks for the video. I’m completely confused. I just bought the blue yeti nano and the box says to download blue Sherpa. I already have G hub on my laptop (for a light I bought a while ago.) Do I download blue Sherpa or do I just use G-hub!? Totally confused! I’m the UK if that makes any difference. Thank you in advance!
Also...I cant be as near my Yeti X as I want (will get a swingable arm later on), so Im 30 cm+ from the mic. Any idea how to get the sound better for that situation? =P Have you tried Nvidia Broadcast, and will it do a better job than G-hub to get a good sound, or is that just used for removing noice (while eating your gpu) ?
Hey man, so I just got my Blue Yeti in and have been watching several videos for setup purposes. It appears that NVIDIA got rid of this feature or built in it automatically with a software update, i'm not 100% sure. I've tried the settings in this video but I cant seem to figure out why my audio tests come back every time with this weird echo where the audio is literally repeating itself and stuttering multiple times. If you know anything about that feel free to let me know haha

Check your gain and probably lower it. Move the mic 10 to 12 inches away from your mouth. It's not Dynamic mic so DONT put it up against your mouth. Recheck your EQ
If I don't have NVIDIA graphic card, does that mean I cannot get the NVIDIA Broadcast? The Broadcast button did not show up automatically either. Thanks

Ok so this might be a stupid question I’m trying to use this software for my asmr videos.. if I have my blue yeti connected to my laptop and my iPhone can I video record to my iPhone and will the iPhone pick up the settings I used on this app? Or do I have to record on both and then merge the sound? 😅 I hope that made sense
depends on which Yeti you have. I caught rumor they had some that don't work with the Ghub but when I contacted Logitech support, they couldn't tell me which did and did not work.

They removed it in an update. You have to use them as separate apps now.

When I do the audio testing, it sounds like my mic keeps fading in and out. Do you have a way for me to fix it? If it helps at all I have a Yeti Nano

They do have a de-esser. Try that plus a wind screen on the mic.

Not that I am aware. G Hub software integrates with the Nvidia Broadcasting Software. They do not offer any other alternatives.

Blue Yeti is an excellent mic. Gain needs turned down and the proper cardioid needs to be selected depending on how many people in the room.

I believe it just needs to be installed via Ghub like a plugin. I'll have to run another test to be sure

I had problems with the mic not picking up the first syllable, sometimes. I unchecked the box on the gate. Problem solved.

I do not recommend using two similar filters on top of each other. If you're using a noise gate on ghub, don't stack another one on top of it in OBS

Check your gain and probably lower it. Move the mic 10 to 12 inches away from your mouth. It's not Dynamic mic so DONT put it up against your mouth. Recheck your EQ

Correct. Nvidia software requires Nvidia hardware to run it.
Hello I have a invida graphics card but invida broadcasting is not on the hub for me any reason as to why and how I can get it?
Only RTX graphics cards can use Nvidia Broadcasting

I have tried to set up my Blue Yeti, but i dont have the Nvidia Feature anymore... did it got patched out at some point? i know it was there some time ago.
They removed it in an update. You can still use them in tandem though.

All EQ is done in Windows before the game so yes it works in every game and app that uses the mic

I’m trying to use this software for my asmr videos.. if I have my blue yeti connected to my laptop and my iPhone can I video record to my iPhone and will the iPhone pick up the settings I used on this app? Or do I have to record on both and then merge the sound? 😅 I hope that made sense
You might be able to send the mic audio out from your PC to your phone aux in. I don't think iphones have an aux in anymore unless you have an adapter
Hey, how did you set the volume button on the front and the grain on the back?
I set my gain on the back very low and test how it picks up. The front dial should be your headphone volume, as long as you have the same model as me

No, these mics require a computer for processing. They do not process on device.

my g hub didnt come with nvida broadcaster but i already have nvida on my computer before i got the logitech g hub does it still matter?
They removed it in an update. You have to use them as separate apps now.

depends on which Yeti you have. I caught rumor they had some that don't work with the Ghub but when I contacted Logitech support, they couldn't tell me which did and did not work.
