RevHeadz Engine Sounds: The Grand Prix V6 Turbo Hybrid Update

Hey! Long time no see? I just found an update for the original RevHeadz Engine Sounds app, and it just so happens that the team have added an engine to the Modern Grand Prix Pack that updates it to the current times. An engine that I've been wanting to see ever since the real ones were introduced back in 2014... A V6 Turbo Hybrid! Now, some people might not like these engines, and we all definitely miss the V8s and V10s of F1's past, but these engines, sadly, are here to stay 😞 Have a listen to the Revheadz version, though, and tell me what you think!

That sound came from a Red Bull RB18 and a AlphaTauri AT03.

So it's a Honda sound... You could probably tell from the "BRRRRRR" on the speed limiter 😉

@@ZeldaACFan17 I agree. It's a Red Bull RBPTH001 engine. I learned that from Wikipedia when looking up Red Bull and Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri F1 cars.

However, if your car has a Honda engine in F1, it can have a "BRRRRRR" sound when you decelerate before turning in the corners of a race track.

Unfortunately the turbo whine doesn’t work in OBD2 mode :( That means if u connect it 2 ur car and select this sound you will hear the engine but not the turbocharger

The pit limiter status text was something I added in with the video editor I used to make it easier to see if the new pit limiter function for the V6 Turbo Hybrid is active or not, because it's quite difficult to see when the limiter is on or off just from looking at the button

I can't really do any specific race tracks because this app doesn't have track maps. I just wanted to show how the new V6 Hybrid engine sounds and how the simulated car feels in terms of the acceleration and braking 🙂
