Love the transitions on the video. It's like you waiting on a shoulder waiting for the exact moment to start. Nice touch on the song and the meaning. I get it. Carry on!
Thank you! I had fun putting this one together. Oddly enough when we ere filming it it we were just killing time until the light was right to test our other cameras and then go back down to the riverfront to shoot some photos, the footage was an afterthought until I actually looked at it.
I know I love the drive through the Cincinnati /N KY Area,I love Interstate Highways that cruve, goes up and down and around area, lots of trees makes you still feel like you are driving in the Country, even though its city, surburban areas, not fun in the wintertime, but specatular in those Summer months, great job with this video Jim of the drive through SW Ohio and always finding the great music fit for the video
I really like this video: I don't know much about Cincinnati but I like the idea of traveling to places I don't know much about and are not thought of as tourist hotspots. The music goes really great with this video and it gives it just the mood I'd imagine I'd experience. I also like the Pittsburgh "Blue Collar" video. Someday I'd like to travel to that part of the country.
Slow down, you're going about 250 miles an hour..lol. Awesome video! I'm a skyline, cityscape junkie & I love your videos. I haven't been to Cincinnati in 20+ years & it always seemed like there was roadwork on 75. I like the hills of Cincinnati, it definitely adds an edge to the city.
Yes I did! we went and shot photos for a while down on the river after filming, glad you liked it and I appreciate compliment, especially coming from you. Glad you enjoyed the video as well.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, I tend to agree with you regarding instrumentals, I like using them when possible, you know the old saying, sometimes words get in the way.
Wow Jim, geat work! This proves that LESS is MORE in the RIGHT setting. Your photography was RIGHT ON in capturing that low bank of clouds over the sunset! You were very lucky to have that sky during this shoot and you made THE MOST of it!
Dude!! That totally Rocked! I love how you went to slow-motion at the end of the song. That really added a cool element to the overall package! I tend to favor you instrumental song usage as words in songs sometimes mess up the music, but that's just me. But this was awesome.
I never get tired of seeing the view of Cincy while you're heading downhill in Kentucky...just simply breathtaking. Great video, and good to see you back! I also love your blend of smooth jazz and rock selections; I've been adding to my iPod playlist since watching your videos.
Thanks for this, Jim. I find myself making a similar drive every time I go back to Cincinnati. Driving around town at sunset/dusk adds a nice atmosphere to everything.
One of the best nightime, panoramic "freeway skyline views" you'll find is of Downtown Cincinnati, driving inbound / northbound on 71-75's "cut-in-the-hill" from Northern Kentucky.
I love this video. Cincinnati has great topography, a great skyline and a cool freeway system. Its a shame they didnt complete the subway/metro system in the 1920s. I guess events and trends in the following decades(like the interstate system) made the subway less of a necessity although it would still be nice
This was really awesome. Sometimes "less is more." I typically prefer annotations, graphics, etc., but it was nice for a change to just focus on the scenery and views this time.
Yes I did notice the old viaduct on US-50 is gone, I mentioned it in the previous video to this. Hopefully I'll get to come back up and film it when the new construction is done.
Rasheed mohammed No never been to Ohio but my uncle was born there. Ohio IMO is one of the few states with good multiple skylines but Im going to rewatch some Columbus vids and see. Also wiki says Columbus has more bldgs over 500ft than Cincy so now I going to watch again.
Rasheed mohammed Just watched. Both cities have their own personalities.and look good. I like them both for different reasons. Columbus looks taller but Cincy has more density. Both good.
JasnoGT When it comes to livability Columbus hands down is the best city in Ohio and the Mid-west. Columbus has more jobs than anywhere else in Ohio, a lower crime rate per capita than any where in Ohio and also the cheapest big city I ever been too not only that multiple pple say it is one of the cheapest and affordable cities in the nation. most people flock here because of Jobs, affordability and Diversity because Columbus has a lot of it.
Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh all have incredible, old, well preserved, "real city" building stocks that resemble many older East Coast cities. The three cities old buildings remind me of the buildings in the classic Marvel Comic books.
Thanks. Something strange happened, not long after I uploaded this 10 dislikes showed up out of nowhere, no negative comments, nothing. I t also happened to my previous video that was uploaded Tuesday. Not sure what to make of it.
DAMN, Jim! Did you take that night skyline photo that you used in your intro? If so, *incredible* job!!! Love the view at 2:35 as well! I loved the stretches of road you chose to showcase in this. A wonderful job as always!
Seattle is pretty far for me, I have not had the chance to go out there. I hope you get a chance to check out the many California videos I've been cranking out this year.
what's with the polarized reaction in regards to this video? I don't see anything wrong with it . . . it's a good video like usual from you. Any reasons why?
Цинциннати! Красивый город! 01:38-39 - SUPER! Автор видео! Спасибо за экскурсию! В этом городе живёт моя любимая джазовая Вокалистка Мэнди Гейнс! Cincinnati! Do you know the Name of your charming world-renowned jazz Singer Mandy Gaines? :)
Wow. What a beautiful city. The yellow bridges kind of remind me of Pittsburgh.
Beautiful American way.
Here in Poland, full of Rut(roads).
Beautiful video and music relaxing
Greetings from Poland.
Sebastian
One of the best Jim! The sun through downtown set the mood. Thanks for the ride!
Nice mix of road/scenery and music, Jim. Thanks for the ride....

I love this song! "Are You Going with Me?" was also featured on The Weather Channel in 1988. Great video!

Thank you, I kind of wondered what that are might be like in the winter months, challenging comes to mind.
Thank you, as I told Kristophere', I wasn’t sure what we had until I looked at it after the fact, glad you liked how it was presented.
Why would anyone thumbs down this video? Great video Freewayjim. Reminds me of the old days when I'd go to Cinicinatti.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Another wonderful video and soundtrack!
Excellent job as always Jim. To me the night rides are the best keep em coming!
Love your videos and music choice . Keep up the good work !
I love watching your Cincinnati videos because I just love Cincinnati so much...it's a pretty city.
That's a good thing, I try to make them engaging, which is hard without notations but I'm glad you see it that way.
Thanks I appreciate that and I agree with you on coming down the hill in Kentucky.
Awesome video as always, Jim!! I loved the beautiful sky and cloud formations. :)
New season, and as usual a great job!
Thanks, I only have one more from the Cincy area coming up (I-275), I wasn't there very long.
Great tour! I love urban highways generaly but this one is awesome. Hurry to see it in HD!!
Excellent job on the video and really enjoyed it.

great video man! looking forward to more!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, I tend to agree with you regarding instrumentals, I like using them when possible, you know the old saying, sometimes words get in the way.
It's not a song, just a royalty free Apple Loop called Chelsea Loft, you can find the full 37 second version here on TH-cam.
Wow Jim, geat work! This proves that LESS is MORE in the RIGHT setting. Your photography was RIGHT ON in capturing that low bank of clouds over the sunset! You were very lucky to have that sky during this shoot and you made THE MOST of it!
Beautifully presented in a city. It starts with a tennis tournament with the best players U.S. Open Series :)
Dude!! That totally Rocked! I love how you went to slow-motion at the end of the song. That really added a cool element to the overall package! I tend to favor you instrumental song usage as words in songs sometimes mess up the music, but that's just me. But this was awesome.
Thank you very much!
The next video I do (Early next week) will go right past the exit for KCVG, it's in a rather rural area.
No problem
Thank you!
Thank you Sebastian!
Really enjoyed the video, I have driven that rout a ka-dozen times. I'm from Lexington KY.
But i no longer live there. But great video, thanks.
I never get tired of seeing the view of Cincy while you're heading downhill in Kentucky...just simply breathtaking.

Thanks, much appreciated!
I did check out your California videos, and I have to say they are awsome
Great ride, love the view and dusk to night scenery of the Queen city of Ohio! Great ride, glad to see you back and hope you'll be doing more of Ohio!
Thank you, I like Cincinnati too!
Thanks Brent, as a producer sometimes you just have to make those calls and hope people see what you see.
Thank you, yes I'd love to get down that way and film someday.
No problem, yeah you must have went straight through town.

Great video.. I see you went thru that hell on 75.. I wish they finish up already Lol
Thanks!
Yes I did notice the old viaduct on US-50 is gone, I mentioned it in the previous video to this. Hopefully I'll get to come back up and film it when the new construction is done.
Thanks, lol, it wasn't that bad luckily but I imagine rush hour through there is a pain.
Cincy is the best looking city in OH. Very pretty.
Much love from Dallas.
+JasnoGT Must have never been to Columbus OHIO or seen it.

JasnoGT ever hear of Cleveland ?
Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh all have incredible, old, well preserved, "real city" building stocks that resemble many older East Coast cities. The three cities old buildings remind me of the buildings in the classic Marvel Comic books.
Not really, this is mainly around the downtown Cincinnati area, KCVG is off I-275 in Kentucky about 10 miles or so from the turn around at 4:30.
And just like Pittsburgh, the best views are from the tops of the hills.
Bellevue Hill Park near UC offers a great vantage point. Same for Mt Adams.
I doubt it, I went filmed Milwaukee in 2011 and don't see myself getting back that way for some time.
Thanks. Something strange happened, not long after I uploaded this 10 dislikes showed up out of nowhere, no negative comments, nothing. I t also happened to my previous video that was uploaded Tuesday. Not sure what to make of it.
Great video Jim!! 12 dislikes, are you kidding me? To any who disliked this video, you make one. Its not as easy as Jim makes it look.
I'm proud to have lived here all my life!
Thank you...aside from the cities, which are interesting IMO, you aren't missing much.
Thank you for watching, every once in a while Mother Nature throws me a bone.
By the way, I don't know what it is but your videos make me feel like I'm actually riding with you.
hey me and some friends was up here last year for the greenbay game
By the way the ROW for I 75(Mill Creek Expressway) and SR 562 were built upon the ROW for the rapid transit system
DAMN, Jim! Did you take that night skyline photo that you used in your intro? If so, *incredible* job!!! Love the view at 2:35 as well! I loved the stretches of road you chose to showcase in this. A wonderful job as always!

At 3:33 the Radisson Hotel is on the left(in Covington, KY) and is home to Cincinnati's only revolving restaurant called Riverview 360.
It's weird that the Holiday Inn sign is at the Radison Inn.
Yes it's nice....if you have a question, just send me a message instead of posting questions about places that have nothing to do with the video.
Quite nice. :)

Thanks, got lucky with that :)

Wow! Whats the speed limit? Looks really fast
The video footage is sped up 3-4x, I'm actually driving maybe 5 MPH above the limit.
55 MPH (88 KPH) is the speed limit.
+Steven Baldi
I noticed the speed limit in Ohio is like that.
Why Your Video Is Muted?
It's probably due to a copyright isse with the music.
@@Freewayjim Oh Ok
@@Freewayjim And By The Way Nice 10 Minutes Video
@@JasonLe Thank you!
@@Freewayjim Your Welcome
why is it muted?
Probably a copyright issue with one of the songs, it happens.
471 is in ky
+LunaticFringe And Ohio.
I never really notice and I'm from Cincinnati
+LunaticFringe Yes, look at a map, it crosses the river, the northern terminus is at the I-71/US-50 interchange.
+Freewayjim so 471 is only like 6 or 7 miles long
