I have the LA-120 v1's. Bought them second hand from Stephen Tyler...they add so much depth to my overheads I also have the snare mic, it's incredible!
They sound really good. The transient response comes out well in your video. It had a 'in the room' with you vibe being able to hear the sticks on the cymbals so well. Nice definition from the ride and if I had a pair I wouldn't hesitate to use them for jazzy numbers or organic tunes. I bet they sound pretty decent on acoustic guitars too. Probably very decent.
