Hi, I'm from Queensland , Australia. Your little red Camper -van certainly takes you many places, love travelling with you both seeing places I would have loved to visit. Carol is a whizz with History, Life is too short, I'm enjoying all your video's , love your cooking too. Be safe.on your adventures.
I drive buses I've done it for 22 years and it certainly gets interesting when you're driving a Double Decker in strong cross winds! Great two part video. 👍
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS TWO PART SERIES! Would love to see you do more, and as entertaining it is, it's also educational for us, we learn so much from your channel. Didn't realise you guys use to live in Saltdean too! Your "where the council keep their puddle collection" comment made us both LOL! 🤣
Thanks Janine & Liam. Glad you enjoyed it. We will keep an eye out for the next storm and film some more. I (Ken) have lived in Saltdean, Peacehaven, Brighton and Hove, Carol is a Surrey girl. We bought a house together in Mid Sussex when we got married. Hope you are keeping well in the cold weather 🙂❤️
There is nothing more lovely to me than the sea in a storm! As long as I’m safe and dry! Takes your breath away at the sheer power! I love the storm coverage, but only if you are NOT in danger ❤
Hello Ken / Carol wow that was amazing what a great storm you had a front row seat :) oh your little bird was a pied wagtail or even a white wagtail it had quite a of white at the side of the head hard to tell , but very cute. Enjoy the rest of your weekend take care always.
Another great video from you both, but I would definitely find a car wash now and get that salt water neutralised and stop the rust forming in those little joints in the camper body. Take care both of you.
Definitely do more videos like this. Those waves were impressive. It made me nervous seeing you so close to those huge waves, but I am landlocked here in Iowa, so I’m not used to them. The eight legged monstrosity was quite a machine. Thanks for sharing. Mary
Storm chasing but with thought and caution - very well done. You did a great job of making us feel like we were there. Awesome shots, roll on storm Corrie!
Look forward to it! On a side note, great advice about knowing the beach was sand. I (Craig) wouldn’t of thought of that and would have driven straight through all gung-ho, whilst Jo would see the potential dangers and be calling me stupid 🤣 Your videos are here to educate 👍🏼
Wow it was a little stormy ⛈ but thank you for showing us the waves coming over the front I guess a car wash for you now with all that salt water 💦 over your camper,,storms are fascinating to watch, when I was walking I just love going out in the sea when it was rough more exciting then a flat sea lol ,great blog very interesting thanks for sharing, till next time take care keep safe, John,🎅🏻🎄⛈⛈👀🎉🧑🎄
We’ve certainly had a couple of cracking storms. Some impressive wave shots you caught there. I think they should name the next one ‘Charlie’ or ‘Chutney’ in honour of your commendable storm chasing efforts! Stay safe folks 😁👍🏻 x
Wow wonderful vlog showing mother nature at her best nothing nicer than watching stormy seas crash on the rocks look forward to your next vlogs keep safe 👍
I was impressed and scared at the same time. I would have never thought of going after a storm! when things look like that I want to be in my home with my blanket and a fireplace... you are so brave and not afraid of the cold!
@@LifeistooshortCK , yes, you seem very comfortable and you made it look "easy" , thank you for the motivation...I guess that me being Spanish, I am not used to your weather...😏 Thanks for replying!
Hello Little Red Campervan! ‘Climb in the back and make a cup of coffee type of Storm Chaser’ - brilliant Carol - made me chuckle. Really enjoyed this video -(all of them actually) but this one had a special excitement! Thought you were very adventurous going so close to the waves but realised Ken you’d have weighed up the risk carefully. I’m sure you’ll be posting again before Christmas but from me, I hope you have a great Christmas 🎄 and I’ll look forward to lots of more vlogs next year. Best wishes to you both.
Hello , thank you for being brave bringing footage for the vlog, the little bird is a wagtail , appreciate all vlogs thanks again keep up the good work 🏴
The little bird is a Pied Wagtail, there's also a yellow version surprisingly called a Yellow Wagtail. If you watch them a while you will see their tails wagging up and down.
What better way to watch the stormy sea fronts. I love the fact your both are into storm chasing and sharing your videos so the rest off us can watch. 😘
Ahoy Beloved! Storm Barra was my kind of a deal, I might end up swimming there like a seal! ;) Those almighty waves, aye! Me heart beat faster! Wavewalker 1 I like very much! Thank you for the enormous amount of effort! My COVID-test got negative results this time, so on the weekend I'm free to rumble there again! Good old Blackthorne is having her winter dreams still. .) Bear hugs from your Captain
That was exciting so long as you're nice and cosy. Here in Bognor used to be a sandy beach but the roads down to the town were getting flooded they moved in tons of stones. You certainly don't want to drive along there when there's a storm, the following morning the road is covered.
Weather is absolutely fascinating! The waves coming over the harbor so dramatically that I wondered if the serious photographers were pros getting shots for the TV stations? There were some award winning shots as the waves broke over or onto th’'!" Nnnor walls. I absolutely love this kind of thing! I will certainly watch again if you chose to do more storm chasing. But I have liked all of your videos thus far so I say do what you want to do and I am confident that I will continue watching. Great fun!
Amazing. Your vlogs just keep getting better and better. This is my area too so added interest for me. Been down to see the wave walker a few times, it’s been there some time. Thanks and we’ll done Carol and Ken 😊
Well that was splendid I really enjoyed watching the video. It's a pity so many people stay at home indoors during the winter and so many camper Vans are parked up all winter long. People miss so much and as your title states" life really is too short".
I just love that you show your positions on a map. And a great educational video and history lesson. It’s quite addictive to watch your channel. Thanks a lot for sharing. 👍
Just found you on u tube and Instagram, and yes you are easy to watch,go the myself and the boss are retired police officers but we can't get out head around how small the van is and how you manage, our van is a swift sundance 630L and there's only two of us ,keep up the good work enjoyed your trip around our country (wales) going back through your backvideos😍😘

Well that was a scintillating change of pace! I absolutely love watching storms. This was brilliant. 🎉⛈️

That storm looked both dangerous and fun. Happy to see more storm chasing as long as you don’t put yourself in any real danger. Stay safe.
