I throughly enjoyed this series . storms ,floods ,snow wind and rain make for memories in their own right .I’m sure it’s a trip you will reminisce over many times …..and lovely to hear my favourite music again
I was amazed to learn that tree roots are deep when they have to find water. I live in a wet climate so trees come down easier because they don’t have to dive down for water. We live next to a ravine and every year we hear one come down, too wet.
Enjoyed this series. I am a quilter so I paused the video at Beatrix Potters place to have a good look at the quilt on the bed. Thanks for taking us along.
We used to go to Arnside for caravan holidays when I was a child. We children were warned about the quicksands but played on the “beach” anyway. Another year we stayed for a week in Hawkshead, it was so hot that the tar was melted on the roads. Strange that’s what I’ve remembered for probably 60 years. Went to Tarn Hows too. Thanks for the memories.
That looked a wonderful place to walk dog's. It looked cosy and welcoming the air b and b. Oh frogs are the bane of my life, as a young girl someone put a frog down my vest and i screamed until my friend got it out.I'm watching this while tucked up in bed. Enjoy your break, but hoping you won't be away for to long. Loved seeing Beatrix potters home. XX ❤️💙

That cottage was amazing inside, well equipped and decorated with no expense spared. One tense part of the otherwise relaxing video, was the steep hillclimb expecting something coming down the hill. Fantastic series! Great adventures.

Love the Air B&B’s. It so nice to be able to do some cooking and washing. Much better than a hotel to me. Lovely series in spite of the gloomy weather. This is the second time I’ve watched it, and as usual, saw things I missed the first go around. Thanks for sharing ❤

The anxiety of hoping to secure a safe overnight parking is totally off putting. I now realise why we see so many camper and motorhomes parked up on people's drives and never moving. B&B and the Mercedes will be the way forward for us.
Really enjoyed this video. I went to school at Casterton near Kirkby Lonsdale and later we used to have a caravan at Hill of Oaks and then a holiday home, a little cottage in Bowness so I know the Lake District well. It’s been a lovely trip down memory lane, it’s a beautiful part of the world.

In spite of the weather that still looked like a great trip and you both just got stuck in, with the help of a bacon sandwich or two! Thanks Jayne 🙂
It's my birthday today, and so I'm indulging in my very few favourite channels. So happy to see that you have popped up today, as you are in my top three.
Also, after first watching your Isle of Man series (3 times consecutively), in May, I have been binging on your previous videos and really loving them.
This, I think, after all those videos, is my first comment. (I'm commenting when I should be watching, but I'll go back, and watch from the beginning.. Promise!)
So Thank you both for the beautiful videos. I love your work. Technical, and creative-wise. You have the ability to make the viewer feel like you're family, so don't be surprised that, if I ever bump in to you, i'll be greeting you with open arms!
Lots of all the good stuff to you. Karen xxx
Happy birthday Karen. Thanks for your lovely comment. Tell us your two other favourite channels as we always like to find new channels to watch 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK Paddy Doyle. Based in Thailand but just started a tour of Vietnam, Travel Beans, who you already know of and Kinging it, who, coincidentally, have also just started a Vietnam tour.
Don’t know Paddy so will take a look. 👍
Just subbed to Paddy. That is right up my street thanks for the tip 👍
I think next year you should go back to the Isle of Man for the TT 😊really enjoy watching your channel. Have a great rest and I hope your shoulder gets better Carol.
We would love that ☺️
