... No words can tell how happy I am. Seriously. I have a refurbished Wii that was in Japanese. And for some reason (even after hacking it to bypass the region-lock), I couldn't play any of the games I, my siblings, and my mom have. It reads them for sure, but it never actually 'plays' them... So, having a way to actually play Gamecube games _without having to read discs_ is a *godsend* for me! Now I can play 'Mario Kart: Double Dash', 'Super Mario Sunshine', 'Bomberman Generation', 'Bomberman Jetters', 'Worms 3D', and even 'Sonic Mega Collection'! (Some of my true favorite Gamecube games. ^^) So I guess in short, what I'm saying is... Thank you for this tutorial, Scott. Thank you very much!

i was able to do it at first. i got it on my wii. i put mk double dash and paper mario ttyd on it. Double dash works fine and Paper Mario TTYD Boots Up To The Title Screen. But When I Press Start It Acts Like Its Going To Load But Then It Just Stays At The Curtains Right After You Hit Start. Also When I Went To Add More Games, They Wont Show Up On There At All. Idk Whats Going On
I have yet to see this problem, But I would start from the beginning in my opinion. Otherwise you can go with using WiiFlow if you tried everything else. Btw Wii flow looks nicer but was A LOT more work for me.

So i did everything exactly for the gamecube isos, I renamed all the files just like in the video, the games folder is in the root of the sd card and the isos themselves are renamed game.iso, and the games are still not showing up at all in nintendont launcher. how can i fix this ?

I have them in USB loader gx but when I try to load them it tells me to copy them to the sd card and I don't have a sd card in my wii?

My meta.xml file is showing up as a Microsoft edge html doc instead of an xml document. Could that be why Nintendont keeps loading the mariokart cd in the wii when i click usb?
Followed directions step by step, and simply cannot get nintendont to appear in Homebrew channel. copied loader, renamed to boot, copied xml link. everything. The correct USB port is used, the other side is not detected. Other games run fine via postloader for wii. It's Just game cube that resets on me, and this looked so simple, not sure where to start over.

Yeah I used it just make the games folder with your games in your SD card and select sd card instead of usb. I Aldo use usb loader to extract the games and play them which works just fine. I'd you are using that it will give you a prompt when you are downloading to save to the main path or sd card path just click sd card to save it to there
@@cookiethefishy Yeah I found using my USB to SD converter works fine enough, however some things, similar to nintendont, are only detected on my SD slot, like Newer Super Mario Bros. I was wondering if I could find a way to stop one exception so that everything could be detected in one slot but I’m just glad I found a way for it to work.
@KatamariParty only certain things can run from usb. riivolution mods cannot. I only use it personally to store my wii games because wii flow sucks. And sadly usb loader doesn't detect wii games on sd card.

I've been trying to make it work today but the biggest issue I've had is that when Nintendont is in it makes none of my apps show up on the homebrew channel show up for me. I downloaded ciso files and I couldn’t get them to work no way shape or form until all I did was rename the game to “game”, kept the “.ciso” and the game popped up. So it would be “game.ciso” inside games folder.

Same. One games doesn't run at all the other is a compilation game and some games work but others just black screen. I do not know why

is your sd card formatted as fat32? and you could also try getting a different game file from a different source to see if that causes it
