- In this Studio Update we clean up a huge mess, shuffle some things around, and finish laying the carpet! One massive step toward completing the new LEGO studio!!

You should do a separate before-after video, the transformation is just unbelievable and the space looks waaay bigger with the clouds and carpet. Every AFOL's dream!
Laying all that carpet helped deaden the echo just a bit. I can't wait to see you start transferring all the lego!
Maybe you can get a weatherstrip glued down along back door as perhaps a barrier for moisture

Before putting the shelves, clean the tile grout. It will make your floor look like new. Trust me, it will be worth it!

The shots you took when panning the camera around with only just the carpet and the painted walls in the background, it feels like we're in a plane flying over a bunch of fields on a clear day.
This rug really ties the room together, dude!
You can and should be so proud at what you have accomplished in that space, it looks amazing! I very much enjoyed watching the construction video's. Can't wait to see the new table layout and after that, the rebuild of the Lego city 😊

I'm blown away by how different, but AMAZING, your new studio looks compared to Day 1. A ton of incredibly hard work has gone into your dream becoming a reality and the space truly looks absolutely AMAZING. I can't wait for everything to be completed then maybe get before and after jaw dropping visuals. ☺

Looks great. I think you should paint the baseboards though otherwise it won’t match the places where you won’t have it installed like the overhead door and back exit door.

The colour of the carpet against the sky walls makes it look like earth. Also, the door that’s painted with sky reminds me of the Truman Show.

Keep an eye on the rubber door sweep at the bottom of your overhead door make sure it seals good and that should prevent water from coming in
the carpet looks great and definitly makes a differance turns the area from looking like a shop to and actual finished room in a house

The echo has reduced so much with the carpet complete, can’t wait to see the office/building area hopefully you can arrange your parts better
It looks amazing, you've done such a great job. I'm sure someone else has already suggested it but perhaps you can paint the tiles to get the colours to all match and tie in nicely with the carpet edge? Can't wait to see the city moved in!
Looks great, more and more looks less like a industrial shop and more like a studio.

Speaking of not being able to have nice things when I first moved in my apartment the owner said I couldn't have any floor or area rugs because it would mat the carpet. If I would have just ignored that, it would have saved me a lot of spot cleaning trouble. Nowadays, I walk through the stores dreaming of all the area rugs that I want...even after finally getting one.

It's seems like now the tiles are down the mural looks brighter and more of the focal point for the backdrop you wanted, looking good

This all looks great. The best thing you can do from now on is always keep organized and clean. I know you feel what I am saying. Being messy and not organized would ruin everything you have done. This is like a dream space for all of us who are AFOL's. Great stuff man.

If some corners of your carpet tiles curls up. Let some icecubes melt on it. It will straighten out. Also works very well with dents in the carpet.
love the whole build series! I keep forgetting that once the Lego is in here it will probably be the largest Lego city on the internet. Amazing stuff can’t wait to see it finished and filled up!

The full carpeting looks fantastic. And it really absorbs the sound. There is much less echo now. Jordan, your excitement is totally warranted. So cool to see how much you got done in such a short amount of time. Looking forward to seeing how it will fill up with the tables and shelving units and of course Lego.

The carpet turned out much, much better than anticipated.
You should definitely get a roomba or roborock or some type of robot vacuum to save time and energy for keeping the floor clean

If you get lights for all of your sets and add other fairy light stuff throughout the Lego city, you could have a whole new lit up city at night!

In the cabinet you can always caulk the corners and lines to make it really clean. I noticed you still have a line by the stairs😢

Looking good if I say do so myself. Use some of the old carpet tile at the door way. Tape a bunch together. Make the door mat as big as you want.

I love all the progress and I still think the cloud backdrop is way more elegant and fun than the plain white walls of the old city. In the new larger city, would you consider adding Pirates Of Barracuda Bay and Eldorado Fortress to the beach as a pirate diorama?

I was originally pretty skeptical/disappointed to see the carpet tiles when you got them, but ho boy was I wrong. They look INCREDIBLE when put down :D Whoever decided to do the checkered pattern was a genius. I really love how this whole place is coming together, nice work :D
