@@MattLaidlaw I tell you what !!...I've become enamoured with your videos !!! My old, 2006 Wide Glide has 92,000 miles on it, and it's tougher than I am. Your parts applications are both interesting and extensive !!!!

I know this video is super old, and I'm playing catch up. My buddy has Terry Cable shocks and I'm curious, after I've watch your videos of RWD Shocks, Fox, Wilber, etc......apparantly you landed on Terry Cable as your preferred. What are your thoughts?
Matt really beautiful bike! On the BMC Seat you say you had it set back 2”. Is that on top of the 1” it sits back from factory seat already? Or did you just have them move it 1 more inch for a total of 2” Thanks !!
This was a Perfect Build. I came to see what mirrors you ended up using in some of your latest videos and the custom windshield is sexy!! Love the Bike Matt
Matt, gotta say I love your builds because they all integrate together to one ultimate "theme". Some guys, when customizing their bikes, end up with a very haphazard look, like the accessories were chosen at random. Yours always come together very well. Your also the only guy I know that can do the whole customization in one shot!! Lol. Most of us its buy as you go lol. That's awesome dude, love the bike. Now if only Harley could still make the SE PRO SUPER TUNER! Ride safe brother.
Yea, I always tell people that you should have a Ultimate vision in mind when you start that way it your bike doesnt just look like a hodge-podge of random additions
I honestly have never been a fan of white paint on a bike, BUT...that is one AWESOME bike! Great choice of accessories and accents. Enjoy! You did good!
Nice motorcycle, although the weird alien music kind of freaks me out a little the only thing missing was Giorgio Tsoukalos talking about extraterrestrials.
Matt Laidlaw yeah it kind of sounds like that creepy outer space music that NASA plays when they want to show people UFOs but there aren't any UFOs in the footage.
Nice look Matt. I noticed you ended up changing to rear mirrors up on your bars....could you not see very well under your hands? I have a 19' Street Glide Special and wanting to put some type of similar bar. I'm close to your height.
Awesome Matt! I didn't think you could build this bike nicer than your Sand Camo Street Glide, but I believe it's even nicer! Congratulations bad ass looking bike! You gave me some great ideas for my Road Glide. Be safe, and looking forward to future videos.
Glad to see that you are getting your bike tricked out the way you want and in the process making it a one of a kind the Matt way. It is a beauty and I look forward to seeing you go on rides in SoCal where I used to hangout back in my military days. Keep the rubber side down.
I was gonna ask if you parked the Simpson lid and ricked a Storm trooper helmet, but someone beat me to it. I like the use of a coordinated Harley collection. Ita a great way to showcase how they look on a project build.
Dude!!! That is freakin sick. I'm sure Darth Vader would order a thousand of these. That seat is incredible...you could look at this bike for days and not notice everything!!! Amazing.
Matt, can you break down the differences between the three different LED headlight styles H-D offers and maybe some pros/cons to each? My 2018 RK is in dire need of an upgrade but I’m not sure if I want to go protector Daymaker, Signature reflector or standard refelector. Thanks. Local dealership is unfortunately pushing replacement bulbs which I’m not interested in.
First of all kudos on the build and I really like the fact that you let us know how much you had to put into it budget wise. Your 2014 Street Glide was a good looking bike too. I am considering a 2018 Street Glide as well. I think the 15" bars are definitely the way to go if you ride long distance. Keep the videos coming on the SoCal places to ride.
Does the windshield fit with the 3 pouch HD windshield bag? And how does the windshield do with being 6’6”? I’m 6’6” too and live in Illinois with no helmet laws. Riding without a helmet and to short of a windshield makes my glasses flutter. Beautiful bike!!!
Really nice customization. The front fender graphic is awesome. The only thing I don't care for is the rear part of the seat. I might have added color matched fairing lowers for a more complete storm trooper look. Excellent video, looking forward to the SoCal destination riding...
Stunning Matt. Screams quality. Nice to see a custom job that does'nt look like some thing a teenage kid knocked-up in his bedroom! Well done. You have changed my mind about getting some leather grips for my 48 now i am gonna go with the brass collection grips to match my brass fuel cap. Thanks
Hey Matt, it’s been two years since you posted this video. Have you made any other changes? You were talking about maybe doing some motor work and possibly some stereo work, did you ever make those changes. You should do like a 2yr update/review on you bike.
Matt, What would recommend for upgrading the lighting for night riding without doing everything at once? Would you just leave the stock headlight and add the auxiliary daymakers? Or would just change the headlight for the 7 inch daymaker? Thanks!
Great job Matt! Love the concept and execution. I'd love to do a Boba Fett or Jango Fett Glide. Oh how I miss SoCal...many a great surf sessions at T-Street when I was a grom.
I guess I know why, but still a bit surprised you didn’t do the extended reach shifter arms. That was the first mod I did on my Limited for my size 13s. But I’m fine with them coming in only chrome.
Matt, how do you like the brass hand grips? I love the look of them but I was worried they would get sweaty and slippery in the summer. Do you like the feel of them?
I'm really glad you mentioned the pro-rated reimbursement for the extended warranty. I let the local dealer sell me an extended Harley warranty and service plan, and they mentioned that it could be transferred to a new owner but not that I could be reimbursed if I traded in the bike.
Hey Matt, what is the part number for the extended front brake line needed for the taller bars? In the video you show two brake lines which I don't believe are the one needed for the hand brake lever.
Bold choice of build, bike and color, very unique.I was in the store that day you decided on that bike. I am anxious to hear about the custom rear suspension (lifted) and if that effects handling and balance of bike? I too am taller and feel i need some space to stretch out on my new bike.
Sir you have a amazing bike! White is really growing on me. I've always liked black the only one I could find was red which I love my bike. I'm really interested in the wireless communication kit!
Beautiful bike. Great build. Wondering is there a big difference between a 18 & 17 street glide special? Looking for my first Harley coming off a Yamaha Raider. Also could I install a 2019 infotainment unit onto a 2017? Thanks in advance and again that’s one Badass build
Bike looks great. Wishing you many miles of enjoyable and safe riding. Maybe if i ever upgrade my Deluxe I might consider the Glide. Only a reach issue then...sigh
Wow. Definitely my favorite of your videos. I worked in azusa and always wished I had a motorcycle to ride up in the canyon. Please post more ride videos!
Hey Matt, I enjoyed the storm trooped video. Keep up the great work. On a side note, I have decided to follow your lead with my project, 2019 Roadglide... It is vivid black, and I've decided to use red accents, and upgrade to the blk/red Kahuna collection, and I'm gonna drop some weight by going w/ a basani slip on muffler, w crossover eliminate. Wish me luck.
You never did an updated storm trooper build on your bike. I’d be interested to see what you keep, changed or improved on your bike since original video. Like did you ever upgrade 107- pipes, cams. Big bore, etc.
Hey Matt............Looks like you created a Nice one of a kind ride!!...Thanks for showing the parts numbers and explaining your reasoning for certain parts..........I enjoy watching your videos............Not quite riding weather here in Indiana!!...........Ride Safe...........JC
Storm Glide, that's perfect!!! I was wondering how you were going to make this bike look any better than it already does from the factory..... But you did!!!! Nice!!! Shout out to the Mechanics at Laidlaw's too. PS I think TIE fighters have that same seat.... just saying.
your videos are the best i have seen and very informative and useful. thank you. i am deciding between 2018 CVO street glide or CVO limited ... i live in dubai and will look into if i can buy the motorcycle in the USA and bring into UAE ... and if i can, i will be in touch. great videos.
What kinda quad did you use for the sky view ???? My 1982 lowrider doesn't like the thin air , I bought a breakout with less than 500 miles on it , I'll be taking that bike to Denver. I'll share this video with a Facebook group that likes star wars
You said they were 15 inch bars from Vindikta, however they only make 14 or 16 inch. I want to order these bars. Can you verify the size, please? And, thanks for the videos!
Storm Trooper motorcycle would be the safest motorcycle ever. It couldn't hit anything.

Yes! More destination rides please! Love your bike. Gotta get those saddle bag handles and shift linkage for my road king special
Congratulations on the new "Storm-Trooped-Out" Harley Davidson Street Glide Special, Matt Laidlaw. The bike is beautiful! Happy New Year!
Thank you. Happy New Year!
Killer. Looks rad. Love it. Love how understated the esthetic is overall. No bling, just tasteful enhancements. Awesome ride Matt.
What a super cool bike, Matt. Very nice.
Those LED Auxillary lamps set that thang OFF!! That was a nice add-on. I get that thing looks like a spaceship coming down the highway at night.
REALLY LOOKS GREAT!
Getting rid of the stock badging was a genius idea and I love the replacement.

Why don't they make the SE Pro Tuner anymore Matt ... How much tune ability is there with Harley's present tuner in relation to the aftermarket units
I honestly have never been a fan of white paint on a bike, BUT...that is one AWESOME bike! Great choice of accessories and accents. Enjoy! You did good!
Thank you!
By far the coolest street glide I’ve ever seen by far!
Haha thank you !!!
looks Great Matt did a nice job with the custom part's...
Nice motorcycle, although the weird alien music kind of freaks me out a little the only thing missing was Giorgio Tsoukalos talking about extraterrestrials.
It’s a scary sci-Fi build I guess.

Nice Job Matt. I like it! Nothing like a hot Street Glide with very good taste in components! Can't wait till Spring!!!!
Beautiful bike. Love all the mods. Thanks for taking us along. Looking forward to the PCH rides.
Great looking Street Glide with the Storm Trooper motif!
Awesome Matt! I didn't think you could build this bike nicer than your Sand Camo Street Glide, but I believe it's even nicer! Congratulations bad ass looking bike! You gave me some great ideas for my Road Glide. Be safe, and looking forward to future videos.
...just on the point! It' s perfect in every way!!! Best new year wishes from Bochum (Germany)

I love your bike. 2nd street glide special with yet another slam dunk on styling. Ride her safe.
Thank you!
I hope HD offers that white color for the Road King special and new Street Bob!

Yes! Do you still have the bike? LOVE it!
I’m not a fan of white paint on anything, but I love the contrast. I think the denim look just sets it off. Really beautiful.❤
Sweet build! Funny, I went up San Gabriel Canyon Rd today. Such a great ride. Too bad they have it closed just past Crystal Lake Cafe.
Yea, it's been like that for years. That road leads up to Angeles Crest HWY
Awesome bike, I just got my first bagger 2014 Street Glide from Precision Harley-Davidson in Pawtucket, RI . Love the videos
Great job, the saddle is excellent and really flows through giving the feeling of continuity to your feel for the bike, ride safe and enjoy.
You have great sense of style , you picked just the right accessories for just the right look . Love the name Storm Glide , happy New Year brother.
Very nice Matt I’m waiting for my GUNSHIP GREY CVO FROM GARDEN STATE HARLEY IN NJ

Nice job! Bike came out beautiful! Nice contrast between the white and black!
Bike looks fantastic, very clean and stylish. Enjoy the video and the time you take with all the parts. Enjoy it and be safe
Dream bike! And that orange FXR in the background, at the end of the video, is pretty badass too!
Very nice !! I also like the kneepads. What is the part number? Looks like a new part for my 2014 SGS.

You said your budget was 10000 was that Parts only or parts and labor? Or how much was Labor if it was only parts
That’s parts and labor combined.
Amazing design/vision whatever. Came through perfect looking terrific. Harley should offer this as a trim for Street Glides.
Looks great, Matt! Really like the storm trooper theme!

Matt you got to get a denim white Simpson helmet when its time for a new one . Love the StormGlide !
Gonna get one soon. It’s the gloss though. They don’t sell denim
What inch did you use for that klockwerks windshield and what type is it ? Thank you
Oh its genuine

Yea. We can usually get away with up to 14 inch bars on the Roadglide with using stock cables. Nice bike man. Enjoy !
