2018 was a bounce-back year for Harley after the company faced multiple recalls in 2017. However, a few 2018 models had been affected due to similar productions issues and problematic areas. As a result, the 2018 Street Glide was called for a voluntary recall. Although the Street Glide is a Harley legend, it is not exempt from this massive Harley recall. A failing clutch problem which affected the 2017 models also affected the 2018 Street Glide, according to USA Today. Consumers reported a series of problems with this bike, including an oil pump problem and brake problems. Riders complained about the 2018 Street Glide having “cheap parts From Consumer Reports.
Just did a Stage 2 Torque Cam and the bike just came alive.. 2022 Road Glide.. The sound and amount of power is amazing now.. I would have done this sooner if I knew what the difference was. Don’t get me wrong, the stock 114 Stage 1 is really enough, but coming from the liter bike world, this suits my riding style.
Talon gets my vote, I had to go to the garage and say hi to my 15 CVO street glide lol (I love my bike) made me appreciate all the things that made it a CVO. The wheels on my 15 are still my favorite... good to see you light up my favorite light in the menu 😎 keep them coming Matt it's cold and a long time till we get to ride up north. Matt, first..where’s your gloves man? Gorgeous bike. Well done. Harley Davidson has the best looking touring bikes, bar none. Paint and accessories all have a premium look. There is no faux look on these bikes. Another brand has way too plastic in my opinion.
There are plenty of factory new Harley-Davidson motorcycles with fisheyes and massive orange peel. It seems the lighter colors are more prone to it. Perfect vivid black gets more polishing after clear?

That is one beautiful and tastefully done bike - and this is from an older guy who likes chrome. I would definitely consider a blacked out bike like that. I told myself I would leave my 107 Ultra Classic stock (love it just like it is), but every time I watch one of your videos on a built bike, or look at what Adam Sandoval has done with his 2017 RG, it makes me want to take the performance plunge. Thanks for the great videos!
I'm looking at getting a 2020 SGS. Going n tomorrow, Jun. 16, 2020. Love the color on yours. I want the Scorched Orange/Silver Flux. That's the fun of owning a Harley: upgrade mania!! Thanks Matt! I enjoy your vids!!

As always very well done!! Great info on stage 3 and 4 kits I don’t think I’ve hit over 3k rpms on my bike yet but this explains it very well done keep up the great work
Yes Matt....a video on the New SE warranty would be great. I took your advice and had the Stage 2 kit done on my 2019 RGU within the first 60 days. Now considering buying and doing the same build as this on a 2020 SGS. Oh by the way the SE Full exhaust header and mufflers work and sound great. Moves the cat back to dual high flow cats under the bags. Heat what heat? A bit pricey at $1400. But I think it's worth it. Thanks.
I don't get it... My 2009 fat Bob has a screaming eagle stage 4. I have 111 horsepower and 110 torque and it's only a 103 Twin-Cam? Why does this M8 117 make less power?
