HUNAAAYYYY ❤❤❤❤❤BEAUTIFUL. I'm going on my fourth month and people look at my first day versus 3 1/2 months and asks me what are you doing to make your hair grow so fast, and im glad to know i do the same things you are doing, xcept the weekly wash I do once every 2 weeks but now im gonna do weekly because i love a fresh scalp. Another thing my mother in law said she didn't like my hair like this.😮 I said well i didn't think I needed to consult with you on how i do my hair she said you should have. Then tried to touch my hair i backed up and wouldnt allow her negative hands in my hair. Then 3 drinks later she said im going to get my hair done for $75 and its going to look just like yours😂😂😂😂😂Crazy i said no ma'am this is definitely not a $75 look. Ppl love your hair but wanna hate and make you feel insecure i sent it right back to her.

Good for you! People have so much to say about locs - the negative internal messages are so real for our community. Let's keep changing the narrative ❤

OMG 😍🥰 NEW Sub here🙋🏾‍♀️. Your Locs are giving length and retention goals🥇🏆 sis👍🏾 the twist out looks great❤ And THE COLOR IS EVERYTHING 😍… In AUG I'm finally going to take the plunge and let my loctician color my hair leading up to my 3 yr anniversary in SEPT 2024🎉🥳... Thanks for this vid and the hair tips! I definitely need to shampoo my hair more often between reties as this insidiously suffocating GA heat is relentless on my scalp but I put the Lazy in lazy loose & loc’d natural 😁 🤦🏾‍♀️😫. QUESTION❓❓Did you use any products like foam mousse or setting lotion on your twist-out? Thxs😊

Thank you so much sis ❤❤❤ And early congrat on your hair anniversary!! The only thing I used for my twistout was my homemade spray and the Shea Moisture hydrating leave-in. I talk about them in this vid: th-cam.com/video/DvEod5QQCm8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bxM7kSjx0qTevtFJ

@@MsJacksonTravels Thanks so much for responding and for the early congrats 🥳 to me 😊… Wasn’t sure if I missed something but indeed I saved the Amazon links for all the products you mentioned & will be trying them out a little at a time. My loc’d hair hasn’t responded well to oils and moisturizing products. I spent the first 5 months of 2023 seeing a dermatologist after switching to a new consultant that started using coconut oil and aloe Vera juice sprays on my scalp after reties which caused Folliculitis. Other than now a medicated and clarifying shampoo and water, and occasionally a rinse out conditioner, I don’t use any products including oils. My dermatologist recommended not using any oils, only water and shampooing more frequently. So I will definitely run things by her before I start…
This is totally opposite of my loose natural hair needs. I basically wore wash n go’s for 4-6 weeks at a time (don’t judge 😁😑) and saturated my hair with oils, butters and conditioners which my loose hair loved 🥰. Now I feel my scalp is craving extra shampooing and some oil but I’ll have to introduce it slowly and shampoo more often than my current once every 5 - 6 week routine 😂.
I love the spray bottle w/ rose 🌹 water and essential oils that you are using. That’s a good way for me to control the amount of oil I use. Thxs again for confirming the products you used for that fabulous braidout❤😊👍🏾
