Clicked immediately when I saw water your scalp because yes!!! That’s the real tea. I’ll be a year loc’d this month, kept my hair in protective styles starting out and would still spray my scalp and any hair that might be showing with an aloe juice water and oil mixture plus an herbal tea rinse and oil my scalp and the growth has been crazy. I only retwisted twice 6 months apart and I’m so excited for this journey. It just feels so good to take care of your hair it’s just like a plant
Yesss sis! You get it!!!! I am going to try the aloe juice water and oil mixture on my hair I’m always looking for was to grow my hair naturally! It is indeed a plant that’s why I was advocating so hard to try natural things instead of just running to the beauty supply store getting things that’s labeled “hair growth” because we all know 9/10 it’s not really gonna grow out our hair lol I appreciate your comment!!! 🩷🩷🩷🥂
Here watching. I am two years locked as of today ❤
Yesss sis love it!!
My mom always said hair and scalp’s best friend is water. 💦 Many women say their hair is dry and needs grease, etc. But their hair is dry because the hair is not getting enough water.
Thank you!!! I be saying the same thing sis! I don’t do much to my hair and it grows but I do make sure I am watering my scalp and hair often!
I cut my bra length hair super duper short because I got tired of it and then got sister locs by “accident “. I didnt know what they were until I met a Loctician coworker. Five years later, my hair is back the length it was before I cut it. I just blinked. I keep it very simple. Distilled water and essential oils.
Thank you! I’m 7 months in and this was informational and I feel much better even after watching this.
Thank you sis!! I been locked for several months now. I have all that in my kitchen!!!

If giving your hair water gives your hair life then how can it be dead? If treating your hair like a baby then how can it be dead? Our hair is alive as long as it's attached to a living being. Have y'all ever heard when you're scared your "hair stand up on end" Hair is God's gift. Therfore hair is not dead when it grows out the scalp. Nothing dead grows.
That’s a good way to look at it. Thanks for commenting ☺️
@@locdinwithmani Thank you as well 🙏
My sis lock is thinning out at the root 😮😢😢😢,what do i do ,,i try to leave it alone but when it itches
How can you water your scalp without unraveling in earlier stages? I always find a way to add some type of moisture since I went natural and transitioning to locks has been a struggle. I never had dry scalp but keeping my hair dry to help the lock process has been irritating my scalp, but if I use too much moisture it will unravel my hair in some areas 🙃
Have you tried using a water based oil on your scalp instead of spraying your scalp with water?
@@locdinwithmani I have not, that makes so much sense, thank you!
Lol blue magic…u talking to meeee lol
You bet not be using no blue magic sis 🤣🤣🤣🫶🏾
