- Swapped a new motor (Dorman 742-307) to fix my power window. Much easier way to get the job done than method the service manual describes. After three access holes are drilled, it is simply a matter of unplugging and unbolting old motor, installing new motor. EASY !!
1989 and earlier driver side 742-301
89 and earlier passenger 742-300
90-93 driver side 742-307
90-93 passenger 742-306

Wish I could buy you a beer, that was so easy!! I used a 1” hole saw bit, just in case I was a lil off on the bolt location, super easy!

Window on my 93 is running slow. Noticed that there's a lot of play in it when I put my hand on the glass. Think the glass is coming loose from the track or regulator is bad. Can get to the track to re-glue while in the door, or do I have to pull the regulator? Know of any videos on pulling the regulator? I'm a little scared of the spring (it's in a lot of posts).
