Excellent, clear instructions. The technique works, but why are there so many stray dogs gathering outside my door? 😮😂 Good clear audio from the mic. Your new intro and outro look nice and slick, too. 🎉
Great video Christof, can you make a tutorial about the exhale and inhale phonations in whistle register? I still get confused with these. I'll appreciate your help to make the video about it, thank you 🙏
Dear singer, However it's at least debateable, since I've got no relevant experience regarding whistle voice produced in an exhaled way, I can't be absolutely sure about it thus, I tend to believe "exhaling in whistle" is technically impossible, very rare at the least and/or barely audible if so, cause you would have to force breath out in a very unnatural manor. If you are inhaling the only difference is, you can breath in a lot more air, which will pass by the vocal chords to create sound (without resonance, that's why it's such a tiny sound). You are sure you are talking about "Exhaled Whistle" and not flageolet right? Thanks for your kind comment and challenging question 🙏
@@ChristofChapsisOfficial Hi Christof, thank you so much for your answer. So is it safe to say that it's always better to use inhale phonation to create whistle notes? I'm just not sure if I do the inhale phonation correctly when I tried it. But it sounded tiny and thin when I tried the whistle by switching from vocal fry to inhale phonation (just like you did in the video). For exhale phonation, I don't have an idea if that's the same way as flageolet (I think you know better about this 😁). Anyway I found your video very helpful to start using whistle register correctly and not damaging my vocal cords. I hope you'd make another video about inhale phonation for whistle register, it'll be very useful. Thanks again for your help Christof, you're the best 🙌
My biggest pleasure, especially for someone who is grateful like yourself! Did you watch this already? th-cam.com/video/Xe43_gNR5-I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gvUXIAB5RF9A1KLf
@@ChristofChapsisOfficial Hi Christof, I think I've watched that video at some point, but wasn't that focused on finding flageolet? My question was how we do whistle notes with inhale phonation, I'd love to see if you could make a more detailed tutorial for this, as I haven't seen many videos talk about it on TH-cam. There's one video that also explained whistle register through inhale phonation here: th-cam.com/video/C53-J4jQ-V8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lwjf7ruPI6z36J_s But I think that one was similar to what you've explained here. I'd like to see how you hit the whistle register with inhale phonation step by step. Anyway thanks for sharing the video, appreciate it.
@@nebula0078 Hi man, I wished soooo much that money didn't rule the world, but making an even more general step by stap video about inhaled phonation whistle that's applicable to any individual...
