It's not really about the "vibrations" moving anywhere as that's a sympathetic sensation; it's about the transition from the anterior to the posterior musculature. Straining, breaking or breathy are all symptoms of the same issue - poorly coordinated breath and glottal compression ratios that do not coordinate the shift from anterior to posterior smoothly. Nothing in here bad for anyone - all are safe techniques, I just think there are more finished sounds that accomplish this faster.
B0-B4 in chest (on mic for that B0 with no fry or subharmonics; F1 off-mic for the lowest, however),,,, when I learned how to flip into head voice, I am able to get to A5 now.

I always had a high pitched voice so i was soprano, but after summer vacation it deepened but i couldn't change my position to alto or even tenor because i didnt practice those parts. So thank you for the video. It helped me a lot
If you are a baritone, you can probably emulate Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker, Neil Diamond, Red Hot Chil Peppers, ZZ Top, Bob Seiger. It helps to figure out who you can emulate in various styles, so you can find the keys that make you shine. Transposing everything gets old. The capo doesn't help a baritone as much. I write songs, so I pay attention to the keys and chord progressions of the singers i can emulate, in the styles that I like.
And you will find that you can sing much higher than you realized when you correctly apply these exercises and master them. It's very exciting. Then you can add more singers.
Your video motivated me to try. I know I can sing high notes - but only sometimes. Mostly, and also here when I tried, I couldn't switch to head voice. But you motivated me and I will keep trying your exercises. Thanks.

This is a great start. I have a lot of videos on this channel that will help you get going again. The important thing is to have fun and enjoy singing again.
It's likely that the larynx is rising as you ascend in pitch. So to keep from cracking or jamming up you let up on the cord closure and so more air escapes. This gives you a airy/breathy tone and it can still feel like you still have to reach for the higher notes. The solution will be two fold. 1. Do exercises to keep the larynx down or to lower the larynx. 2. Do exercises that also (simultaneously) encourages more cord closure. A good exercises might be "guh" with a dumb sound on the 1 1/2 scale or the Octave repeat scale. Or Goo (as in good).

@@jfree336 Awesome! watch the videos and focus on how to do the exercises. It will make more sense to you. Have fun! I think you will be surprised at the results.
Doing the first exercise the only way I can progress beyond my 'bridge' is to move into a falsetto voice. Is this what you mean by moving from chest working of the vocal chords into the 'head' working them? I think my falsetto voice is OK and reasonably well powered but it sounds quite different to my 'chest' voice so I try to avoid songs which require me to sing over my bridge zone. Unfortunately that cancels out quite a lot of songs for me.

Secondly, while singing above that vocal break, everyone complains that my voice sounds much more like a woman. I don't know what to do.
@@riksinha5 Puberty has probably messed you up a bit. First step is to establish chest voice. It is the foundation of your voice. Seceond, It's likely that you are singing in falsetto when you are singing above the vocal break. I would start by getting a comfortable chest voice going again and then work your way up. Start with vocal exercises for light chest/ no chest and see what happens. www.powertosing.com/light-chest-no-chest/
@@PowerToSing thank u so much. It really felt good while doing it. Amazing feeling to do it. Thank you so much.

Indian. Age70. I'm a stage singing mythological drama artist. Recently for one year I observed husky singing that understood to the brain helping to sing confidently. Any how, thank you so much sir.

Holy heckin, this works.
My voice gets breathy when I try to go higher is there a video for it?
Watch this video and follow the directions. th-cam.com/video/d0Ob8WGmvPc/w-d-xo.html
Adrian, without hearing you it's impossible for me to know if you are in falsetto or head voice. But when I was first in head voice, I couldn't tell the difference either. Watch this video to see if it helps you to know if you are in head voice. th-cam.com/video/1DH--KCZc8g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RKGEZ8vEnR6zMKre

LesPaul shattered his right arm in a car wreck . Had to have the elbow set permanently at an angle so that he could play guitar. He Became a super star in the 50s.
You sir are smart and motivated. You will figure this out and prosper.
Well...thanks!
I could feel the difference but no matter how clear I try to do any of the techniques that you are showing us my voice always sems to turn into a nasal Trombone, and I can't stand the nasal sounds like that. How do you get rid of the nasally sounds?
Mainly by doing exercises that bring the larynx down. It really doesn't take long to begin experiencing this in the exercises. But you have to do the exercises as demonstrated. You can do it!
Very nice presentation 😊
Thanks a lot 😊
Thank you very much!
Fantastic presentation 🙏🙏
Thanks a lot!

Even it works with female voice as well?
Yes the exercises work for all voices. It will be different keys so the exercises work the lady's voices in their vocal bridges.
