    Discover how I harnessed the power of natural selection and mimicked Mother Nature herself to ensure the growth of the fittest individuals. We’ll take you step-by-step through the process, focusing on a secret weapon - fingernail clippers - to scarify the seed coat. This reminds me of how I did my citrus seeds way back! The grocery store seeds grew me trees but I moved too much and left them behind so never knew if the fruited 😢 I will definitely do this with the seeds! I may try in paper towel and in soil see how they both do!

    IF you wash away the Embryo and let them dry out a few days, then spread them around your Garden will they eventually Sprout and Grow ?? I am in zone 9a....

      You don’t really need to dry them out. Just put them straight into the soil. They sprout faster if you scarify the seed coat. If they dry out too much they won’t sprout at all.

    How are your vines growing? Just got some passiflora cerulea (wanted incarnata but could not find them anywhere) am planning on soaking them overnight, and then putting them in a paper towel in a ziplock.

      Good! I just transplanted 2 incarnata plants outside. Hoping it doesn’t rain.

    Where did you put it once you nicked it and put it in paper towel? In sun? Window sill? Or darkness?

    • @thechaosgardener
      @thechaosgardener  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Darkness. Sorry I didn’t mention that. Thanks for asking!
