I really wish they would have swapped "what if the avengers died" with this episode. Mainly because that episode served nothing to the final episode of season 1.

@@fierdrages6523 no it didn't. Black widow died in that universe. Everyone died. That episode (while great, i loved it, don't get me wrong) had nothing to do with the season finally. No characters were brought to save the multiverse, not even as a distraction (zombie reference was a great touch)

Ok 2 things.
1. Tony lost consciousness because of the lack of oxygen and the absolute cold, he didn’t “lose control”
2. The cartridges ejecting themselves was not Jarvis, since Jarvis had already lost connection. It was a programmed thing in the suit to release extra weight, because when the suit runs out of that accelerant, it now is dead weight, same as in Iron Man 2, when Tony used his laser cartridge and had to eject it afterward. It was however the correct amount of push in the opposite direction to save him, thankfully.

You see a very logical and thought out issue I took with this video and decide that you know better. If you do, then where in my comment did I say that space works a certain way, and even if you find the most minute of details there that shows that, that wasn’t the main point of my comment. The whole point of it was to correct an inaccurate statement in the video, saying that JARVIS was the one to eject the thrusters from Tony’s suit.
Not to mention, that this is a science-fiction film that we are talking about. My explanation was based on the rules that the film gave us and what the film showed. If you watch The Avengers, you will clearly see that I am correct on both counts.

I never put logic to that sequence but nobody can lose consciousness so quickly for any of the two reasons you mentioned. Also the suit CAN provide oxygen as in the beginning of the move Tony can be seen tweaking the power lines to make Stark Tower run on arc reactor power.
Since its a movie i did not put logic into it, but clearly there is no evident of suit creating pressure inside. So Tony should have actually died of imploding, or his blood should have started to boil inside his body because of no pressure.
@@ashvinsharma97 wrong again. It wasn’t his suit providing oxygen, because his suit had died. That was why Tony told JARVIS to “save the rest for the turn. You forget that Tony was using a prototype suit for at least 45 minutes, using every weapon in his arsenal to defeat the Chitauri. Plus, He lost consciousness a good minute or more after entering the depths of space. His suit was able to protect him from imploding or blood boiling because that is what the suit was designed to do, but since the Iron Man suits weren’t designed for deep space travel yet, he got the lower impact of nearly dying. Notice how after Tony returned from the wormhole, Steve checked to see if he was breathing? Ya, Tony almost died. And while it is somewhat comical that Hulk roaring brought him back, that was the joke. You can’t apply out of universe explanations for in universe problems, especially when said problem is an interdimensional portal sending a legion of aliens led by a Norse god, and they all somehow have far more advanced technology than the smartest man on the planet(at least for now, until we get Reed Richards). This is Science-Fiction, not real life.

To gave him a extra push the mass should have released in the front side or pinting towards the opposite side of wormhole that will give tony a slight push.
He makes it back to Earth regardless and returns to the Avengers. The Tower isn't a one hundred percent guarantee, as Pepper may or may not have rebuilt it as Stark Tower, but Tony could've built a mansion or compound for them. Or another tower separate from his.

I actually think this was more of an animation error/retcon that the animation team at What If failed to notice despite obviously being shown on screen. I’m guessing it’s more of an animation error instead of a retcon, as this could be easily fixed if the animators didn’t forget to have the Mark 7 flaps detached from the armor.
Besides, there’s already a retcon in the episode where the Mark 7 functions like the Mark 42, which is baffling as the Mark 7 wasn’t designed to have auto suit-up abilities

Well after announcement of RDJ coming as DR Doom. Lot of questions to be asked on those avengers film. Hints like in Age of Ultron opening Tony grab that tesseract. Is this intertwined with reality? Makes sense that he saw every avengers get killed by holding that tesseract! It seems marvel is not seeking Endgame problem solved. We know marvel always confusing😅
Maybe they put that hint for future projects like Avengers: Doomsday!

Law of Gravity " Gravity pulls everything towards earth by equally accelaration, which is not affected by mass/weight of object." It means 1000kg and 1kg of weight pulls by Gravity equally and both weight take same time to reach earth if both are releasing at the same point and same time.😅
If Jarvis hadn't done that. Tony would have kill Thanos a long back there. And Black widow half asgaurdians and tony himself would be alive.

Well it was much better timeline. Tony Stark became much stronger in Sakaar. Gamora killed Thanos much earlier. Tony started using nidavellir for making his armor.
Ditching the shoulder plates wouldn't give him an "extra boost" because gravitational acceleration back through the wormhole would have been the same regardless of his mass. The wormhole just closed faster in the "What If?..." episode, that's all
Cartridges ejecting is basic engineering for most propulsion systems tho....

Space is a vaccum. So whether the plates are ejected or not, the speed of his fall wouldn't be affaected. The question we should be asking is how is Tony falling at all without gravity in space? Unless, earth's gravity can also pass through the wormhole.
Shoulder plates, those are not shoulder plates... Those are supposed to be the back flaps of his suit to support his flight. You clearly don't know what you're saying. Also, Jarvis didn't do that. That programed into the suit for failsafe measures.
This is because Captain America wanted that Black Widow have to close the wormhole. If he waited longer, Tony will have made it.

Maybe I’m just stupid but that makes no sense for a couple reasons
1. The suit was powered off so Jarvis couldn’t do anything
2.those plates wouldn’t have effected his falling speed since he was in the vacuums of space where there would be no resistance against him which means he would fall at the same rate regardless of having the plates or not. If any thing tony should have been launched further into space since air would be flooding into the wormhole and by extension into space which would push Tony farther
Why Jarvis remove the soldier plate. Heavy weight fall faster than lite weight because of gravity.😅
I miss that attention to details from the MCU and there was a lot micro details like scattered throughout the Infinity Saga. Now they are just using this universe to send messages that are sometimes not welcome. We don't ask football players to be filmmakers just like we don't ask a superhero film to tell us about inclusions. They lost their way and we lost this amazing comic book universe for the benefit of their wokism

Jarvis didn't remove the plates because when tony became unconscious Jarvis also disconnected from the suit it was the emergency protocol of tony's suit
Note: Jarvis is an OS not an AI in my opinion. AI change... OS can also be smart but it still operates under certain principles that doesn't change. And Jarvis until the end operated with certain principles.
