If you read the comics recently, you'll know that holds up as well, as reyes was able to high jack a dead celestial and use it essentially as a mech suit to actually fight other celestials...
But if you think about it, with the introductions of the Multiverse and you know Kang the Conquerer. MCU might afford to introduce Ghost Rider without actually nerfing him. We also gon have the Eternals as well. All the godly overpowered being will be on the MCU soon
So true. He is one of, if not the most powerful character in the marvel roster. They would so need him, especially so if he’s going up against the heroes. (Side note: things from heaven are the only way anyone not also from hell could incapacitate/kill the ghost rider.)
The only reason we don't have actual power scaling in the MCU is because it's just too expensive to animate and even then I don't think a lot of people would understand the true power that some of these characters possess another reason is the character development takes time that would take years look at iron man he at max is 1/10 the power he had in comics. I also just remembered that another reason why it's hard for them to do power scaling is because certain characters the other characters to exist to show how amazing they are like Tony Stark is brilliant but you don't really see that too much because they don't really show how smart Black panther is and Mr fantastic isn't in the MCU either. And without that knowledge boost he doesn't get into his super overpowered crap.
The thing about Ghost Rider is that he's not a guy with a fancy weapon, he's not some kind of enhanced meta-human, he's a supernatural force of nature. He is literally hellbent on hunting down anyone who committed a terrible crime.
Did y'all know that Zarathos (the power behind ghost rider) was originally an angel with the flame skull, but he was just as powerful as Memphisto and Galactis
@@isaiahsimp98 There is an instance of GR one punching Galactus with the penance stare. A literal: Came, Saw, Conquered. Then left just as badass as he came.
So he can punch harder than Hulk, is almost invincible, has reaction times several hundred times faster than the speed of sound, can see you if you're invisible, is a pyrokinetic, and can travel through dimensions
@@nev7 Thanks can beat GR with the infinity stones right? cause I really like GR but then he would be too broken being better than thanks in style AND power.
Ghost Rider is a great character in that he's a force of nature, in that he can't be controlled. He just happens to people and you have to live with it. I love Ghost Rider.
Well actually in the comic's he became a herald to galactus, which then thanos killed galactus snd made ghost rider his servant instead since ghost rider is literally unlikable
Ghost Rider scaling vs. The Avengers isn't even a question. Back in the F4 comics, after a beatdown of that team by Galactus, Ghost Rider shows up and hits Galactus with his penance stare (do the math on all the death on all the worlds Galactus has consumed, fired right back at him in one shot), and forces Galactus to surrender and leave earth alone. This puts Ghost Rider on the same levels as the most powerful Celestials (and his origin being the angel of vengeance prior to loosing his mind only adds cred to this).
true however his power scales by how bad the enemy is. if the enemy is justified I.E has never committed a sin then Ghost Rider's power takes a nose dive. hence why when Hulk went nuts and Tony asked for his help G.R told him he couldn't help
@@TheMeta141 Choosing not to fight him is not the same as winning or losing to him. That actually came up twice (both with The Hulk, and as World-Breaker hulk (and if Ghost Rider is on the same power level as World-Breaker Hulk, then the Hulk of the Advenger would obviously be no match). But even without the penance stare, the fact of the matter is that Ghost Rider can only be truly harmed or killed by "weapons forged in heaven ", of which Hulk has never had access to. So if Ghost Rider chose to, he could harm/kill the Hulk (remember, Ghost Rider's hellflame cannot be regenerated, nullifying Hulk's healing factor), yet Hulk could never cause Ghost Rider any lasting or permanent damage.
Ghostrider is the Superman of MCU... Literally no one can defeat him with the powers he possesses (not talking about the comics, only the movies and shows) In the Hulk & the Agents of SMASH, he burned the gamma off of the Hulk and turned him into banner (Not sure how this is relevant but I just had to add this sick demonstration of his power)... I mean physically talking he can take on anyone and who knows if he got the Stormbreaker or the Mjolnir he could turn them into hellfire versions of his choice (That would be sooooooooo cool to see) I mean in my opinion MCU dosent want to emphasise his character much because upto this point there hasn't been even a single weakness shown about him anywhere in the movies or the shows... So if they decide to bring him in with the rest of the crew he would render their existence obsolete... He could just have beaten Thanos himself or maybe turned one of the megaships of Thanos's army (Which are destroyed by Cap. Marvel) and turn them to his hellfire version and blow up the entire armada of Thanos... So if the MCU decides to show him, it would only be with the teamup from Blade, Living Vampire, Dracula, Dr Strange, Memphisto, Wanda, etc... Only the ones with any affiliation to magic or hell powers... Cuz literally anyone in the non-magic/science department would be instantly useless against him... Perhaps Tony or Richards could create methods to contain his Hellfire or even the spirit of vengeance, but that would require a really long time, and FYI Tony is dead now...
For those that don't realize it, the guy Ghost Rider is punching after he breaks out of the cage isn't just "some guy." That's Jefferey Mace, AKA 'The Patriot'. He is a superhuman from 'Project Patriot' and his power levels are somewhere around those of Steve Rogers. So Ghost Rider didn't just "punch some guy and not hurt him" he beat the absolute shit out of a superhuman. Imagine seeing Captain America get absolutely demolished by like 8 punches. That's basically what we are seeing here.
@@iloveboobies4938 Idk why you’re bringing up mephisto. They literally said ghost rider can possibly be killed by weapons forged from heaven, or by god himself. And Have you ever heard of Cosmic Ghost rider? King Thanos couldn’t even kill him.
Heaven and god are a thing in marvel comics? Truly hope this doesn't find it's way to the MCU. Even for comic standards that's just stupidly unrealistic.
Exactly. Most (if not all) characters in U.S. comics are as strong as what the author wants. Things is a bit different in Japanese comics (aka manga). Just saying.
at 1 point someone asked Stan Lee who is the strongest. His response was something like this "Most would think I will say the Hulk... but Ghost Rider would most likely take the top slot."
In actuality, the Ghost Rider wasn't even fighting Worldbreaker Hulk during that story; Johnny Blaze was just using the powers of the Ghost Rider to try and fight the Hulk off. Dr. Strange even points out that the Ghost Rider's power is almost limitless and could easily take down the Hulk no matter how mad he is if he really wanted to, but as soon as the Ghost Rider takes over he just rides away which I love.
@@carlgraham9526 in the comics, at the end of the of any universe, the last 2 characters alive will always be thanos and ghost rider. There's a third character but forgot.
Ghost Rider is considerably more powerful in the comics than in the MCU. In the comics he has been reduced to ash just to reform into the Spirit of Vengeance again. While in Ghost Rider form he is pretty much immortal and will relentlessly pursue his prey to exact vengeance. He is vengeance personified. He might not dish out damage as some of the other big hitters in the Marvel Universe but you can count on him to come back again and again until his task of vengeance is complete. He is typically a solo player but if he had trouble taking someone down I'd imagine he would team up since it doesn't matter how vengeance is achieved so long as it is done.
I think there's potentially a way to turn him into an antihero. That'd fit his character, although his duty is kinda heroic. He's literally anti villain.
@Wall_E. Nah for the most part he is an anti hero and goes against hell itself. Sure he's been manipulated but because the spirit of Zarathos a demon trapped and now giving the powers of the ghost rider is still compelled to enact vengeance, he eventually goes against that manipulation. I'd say 9 times out of ten he is lot more reasonable than the punisher as there is no gray zone with what he sees depending on the writer. Only the concept of revenge itself is gray.
In the comics he can only be killed by holy weapons. So literally every super hero or villain that does not use holy weapons will lose eventually. And that's only if the heros that use holy weapons even figure that out before they die. I'd think the only ones that stand a chance are those that use holy weapons by default, aka, wonder woman, dr fate, etc. But another thing that is off topic to this, in the video he states that there is no known way to remove the demon/angel from someone. Remember the spirit of vengeance movie, they did exactly that. But that circles around to religious stuff as well, so the only one that might be capable of that would be someone like dr fate.
Hulk scales infinitely with his anger, Ghost Rider scales infinitely based on how bad the people he’s facing are. Ghost Rider could beat anyone, but only if they are unjustified. In the comics when Hulk went crazy and was gonna destroy the earth Iron Man went to Ghost Rider to ask him to stop Hulk. Ghost Rider said he couldn’t help as Hulk’s anger was justified.
@@demonpandagang Wasn't really justified (but we don't get to know that until later). In Planet Hulk, after a long, hard-fought struggle, his wife and his unborn child (though we find out later he survived) was killed and his city and its people destroyed by a bomb that he thought was sent by the illuminati. So he went back to earth for vengeance. He didn't really want to destroy the earth per se. He just wanted the illuminati. Per the comics, none of the illuminati are "innocent". So the Ghost Rider chose not to fight Hulk.
Finally someone said it. Johnny beat Dr Strange’s Ass, The spirit of vengeance didn’t murder hulk in WWH because he said he was justified. That was the only reason 😂
'the spirit of vengeance didn't murder hulk in wwh because he said he was justified this make no sense, Hulk action cause harm to others that were not involved in what happened to Hulk, no matter how much you spin it Hulk is guilty
Indeed. He only kills those who deserve it, or people who have called down vengeance against another person. Or spirits and demons who escape the Dark Dimension or Hell. He sends them back. Even in the Nicholas Cage Original film back a decade ago, he could just look at someone and call them out as guilty or innocent. Instantly. That’s a core aspect of the Spirit of Vengeance; Hellfire Judge, Jury, & Executioner.
The Rider only kills people who are *”Guilty”* For example With his penance state he can tell instantly if your guilty, which means if you are Guilty he tortures you with all the pain you have ever inflicted on anyone, And he also kills beings from different dimensions. There is a reason he is *The Spirit of Vengeance*
Yeah but just to clarify that wasnt just a shield member in the video that was jeffrey mace with the super serum the third captain america clearly ghost rider held back but took out mace with just a couple of punches same would do to steve rogers
Ghost Rider is like an entity that possessed a host to find those who commit sins(probably heavy sins) and needs to be punish. That's what they primary objective is. Think of it like, an Angel of death except hell version. As you can see in the show, the host(Robbie) is clearly in control of GR but that's just how much he can handle the power. Even Johnny Blaze take years to unlocked the GR hidden potential and the fact that he stomps the avengers by his own in the comics says it all. I would love to see in the future they make Ghost Rider shows and have character development so we know just how powerful he is.
Ghost Rider is one of my favorites ever since I was a kid. I still have all my comics from childhood and I’m 45 now lol. That was a great breakdown. Thank you 🏴☠️
Is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D still part of the MCU or it's also confirmed to be non-canon like all the Netflix series (it's not Netflix, but could be non-canon)?
ghost rider is a concept personified. he's the concept/"spirit" of vengeance. that's why he's so unbeatable and so immune to most things. Normal rules of our world just don't apply to him.
The hard part becomes writing someone like him as a character. If they're unbeatable then fights can seem to lack tension and you can lose interest. Use some contrivance to nerf them or auto beat them and that shows weak and lazy writing. It's really hard to tackle that kind of character so I think that he won't show up in the MCU moving forward or at least without some heavy power changes
@@majintv24 well eith thr ghost rider its pretty easy. The user holds the spirit of vengeance back just by being a free willed person. So that instantly creates several weaknesses to work with
Power for the ghost rider scales to how much control the person with the spirit of vengeance is willing to give up to it. More control given to spirit= more powerful the ghost rider. In turn though the person probably won't get control back for a good bit of time if they give to much control, potentially turning on ally's and such. If the person refuses to give any control to the spirit it will force it's way out and will try for a full take over any time it's let out a bit. Edit 1 In human form the ghost rider is supposed to be at his most vulnerable. One of the only times a person with the spirit of vengeance can die is when in human form. Human form =no fight for/ giving of control. Basically it means the rider senses no evil or the person is in no danger Edit 2 Oh yeah and separating the spirit forget that. If I remember correctly, the last time the advengers tried that the spirit started actively fighting them, at full control. Meanwhile Robbie went for a little drive in hell with blaze.
@@deadb0ob If I remember right, nothing can really separate the spirit once bonded to the host unless it's willingly passed on. Not even Dr. Strange can do it. Even when the spirit leaves a host, the residual power is enough to still give the former host hellfire powers and extended their life span way beyond normal human life expectance.
Ghost Rider can only be killed by weapons made in Heaven or Hell. Hence the reason why there was no possible way they would put him in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. He would use the penance stare on Wanda and end her.

There is a whole comic story where ghost rider was a servant of thanos, he attempted to use his penance stare on him and it brought great joy to thanos to the point where he would make the rider do it regularly to make him happy
@@mobrien7211 tbf, thats COMICS Thanos, not MOVIE Thanos, which have different reasons for why they want to destroy half the life in the universe. Comics thanos did it because he wanted to impress Lady Death and just all-around loved bringing death. Movie Thanos did not kill because it brought him joy (though...maybe it did, but not the killing itself) but rather because Thanos wanted to bring balance to the universe so everyone everywhere would have more resources to work with. So maybe, MAYBE...the penance stare might actually just straight up destroy Thanos. Maybe. Im not 100% certain myself but I THINK it just might given how Thanos is.
I don't believe it works like that the penance stare is basically to make you feel guilty of your sins but mcu Thanos truly believes he is doing what has to be done he will never feel guilt for it
The stare is inconsistent and depends on what the writers want. In some cases the stare doesn't work on those that don't feel guilty of their wrongdoings and in some cases it did work. It's poorly written.
Hard to reconcile, "he's literally an unkillable monster stronger than every other hero," with, "rides a motorcycle and punishes low-level mooks." He's given an SSS-tier power set and used in a C-tier capacity. You'd think others, knowing his abilities, would just sic him on the universe-level threats and play support.
That's comics for ya. Power scaling is simply not a thing. The Flash is the fastest man alive yet his villians include a guy who throws boomerangs and some thug with an ice gun. Batman is supposed to be one of the best fighters in the world who knows 100 different types of martial arts yet whenever the Joker gets in a physical fight with him, he somehow holds his own against Batman. People always get mad when their god characters from comics get powered down when used in other forms of media because most don't get that unlike comics, things like movies and TV shows actually care about logic and don't just go out saying shit like "oh this guy is so strong he can battle gods look how powerful he is" when in practice, said character can't do that because then there'd be no conflict. No story. This show got that. This video guy hyped the character up too much. This particular adaptation of Ghost Rider is very powerful but he isn't some unstopable force. He would actually lose to many of the big MCU heroes. He almost couldn't handle a chick with teleportation powers because she kept dissappearing on his ass.
@@CelesQuinn how can i not know a character if i just said he is my favorite? What i meant is that its just a little selected group of people who trully knows how powerfull those two are
Ghost Rider's strength is completely limited by the host conscious. The two biggest scenarios that pop up in my head for when Johhny was unconscious and Zarathos had full control is World War Hulk where he just walks away from Hulk like his attacks did nothing to him & Uncanny Avengers where Mojo has them all mind controlled and Zarathos takes over and he takes on all of the avengers and basically calls Thor weak by saying "The might of a God pales before the strength of a Demon."
The fight between Ghost Rider and World War Hulk absolutely cemented Ghost Rider as one of the most badass heroes that follow his own moral rules. Before the fight against WW Hulk, the Spirit of Vengence told Johnny to not fight the Hulk, not out of fear but simply that Hulk is not guilty of any wrong doings by waging war against earth. (Long story short, Hulk gets exiled from Earth by Tony Stark and Doctor Strange, ends up on an alien planet, takes it over, becomes king happily married, wife dies in an atomic explosion of the very same ship that Hulk was exiled on, Hulk Mad, returns to Earth for vengeance). So when Johnny fought the Hulk and goes unconscious, the Spirit of Vengence simply took over and left Hulk without a word. Doctor Strange and Tony, who both were watching the entire time, simply reasoned that the Spirit of Vengence could have no doubt fought and defeated the Hulk but instead left because the Spirit did not see Hulk as the guilty one.
The hulk' s strength is only limited by his rage. And the Ghost Rider's strength is only limited by the hosts conscious. Makes you wonder what would happen if they both went all out.
Zarathos wasn't a demon he was an angel of heaven. Spirit of vengeance justice. He was tricked and went mad thus we have the GR. Last GR movie 🎬 at the end Blue flames indicates Angel in back.
Robbie Reyes is still one of my absolute favorite characters in marvel. The actor felt great for the role and overall the episodes with ghost rider in them were my favorites of agents of shield.
There is an episode of The Fantastic 4's animated series where Galactus is attacking earth (nothing new)... They are having problems fighting him. The Ghost Rides appears and gives Galactus the Penance Stare making him suffer the pain of Billions of Worlds (Worlds Galactus Destroyed), Galactus is stunned and leaves. GR didn't even sweat.
The penance stare on the right person is all he really needs for a lot of MCU characters. There are exceptions (iirc penance stare did not work on thanos bc he believed he did no wrong in his misdeeds). But really penance stare is all he needs for a LOT of villains/antiheroes, even heroes that have done wrong.
Ngl Thanos was little more than plot armor. Because whether he thinks it's justified or not, he killed innocents, and that's enough for the Rider to kill him. The Stare not working on Frank is more understandable because he only hunts criminals, criminals that Rider would also kill, so he's completely justified unlike Thanos
Penance stare works based on the burden ones misdeeds have put on their soul. If you have absolute conviction that you haven't done wrong then the stare won't have much effect on you.
If I remember correctly the Penance stare doesn't work on Punisher, I might be thinking of a different character though, anyways the reason being in their heart they didn't do anything wrong.
@@Wall_E. I haven't read any of the comics, but it seems like comic books tend to be pretty inconsistent with character interactions. It could be that in one comic Thanos was immune to the penance stare, while he never stood a chance in another.
In the comics, there was a storyline by jason aaron that revealed that the power of the ghost rider are only limited by the hosts imagination. Dr. Strange even called Ghost rider's powers boundless and god like. This was also the same storyline that retconned ghost rider's origin removing zarathos and replacing him with an angelic spirit of vengeance. It's a pretty cool storyline.
I have always, my entire life, been a Ghost Rider fan. He is by far my favorite character and its good to see someone giving him some love. We could all use a little more Ghost Rider in our lives.
The Spirit of Vengeance is not Demonic. It operates as an Agent of God and is the Physical Embodiment of God's Vengeance and is the Manifestation of God's Wrath against the sinners
Well that would depend which Rider you're referring to under the topic of spirit of vengeance. Remember that most people don't know that Zarathos isn't the only spirit inhabiting and transforming a rider.
Also Robbie’s spirit of vengeance isn’t actually a spirit of vengeance, though it acts very similarly as a vengeful spirit. I believe that in the show it’s legit, but I’m the comics it’s not.

I loved it when in WW Hulk Reed Richard's got Johnny Blaze to try and stop the Hulk. After brawling for a few minutes. Zathroz takes full control. Looks at Hulk. Says, you are justified in your vengeance. Gets on the bike and leaves.
Thanks for pointing that out. I figured that since Ghost Rider is a being created on a principle such as Vengeance/Justice, that perhaps someone who is innocent or a beacon of virtue could negate his supernatural powers.
@@TheDestineyAngel I don’t think negate is a good word for it… its more The Ghost Rider judges them and deems their cause for vengeance just or not. Most people have a not so just view of vengeance. Hulk in that moment, was justified and so the ghost rider told him and left.
Also take note that when Tony and Strange was watching the fight, Strange stated if the spirit was in control, he can beat the Hulk no problem. Since the spirit deemed Hulk innocent, he let him be. Also it wasn't Reed who got Johnny to go fight Hulk, Johnny saw Hulk on the news and decided to stop him, in which the Spirit of Vengeance protested Johnny's decision.

Let's not forget something vitally important when speaking of the Ghost Rider's abilities. GR's power is entirely supernatural. In terms of quantifying and measuring, getting a perfect bead on supernatural forces is next to impossible for anyone in the MCU except perhaps Dr. Strange. Even Thor, whose power comes from magic, has stated that where he comes from, magic and science are essentially the same thing. Remember in Thor 2: The Dark World, Jane Foster identifies the Asgardian "soul forge" as what we call a quantum field generator, indicating the connection between the two disparate worlds. But the supernatural is an entirely different thing. Supernatural forces tend to mean Dark Magic. That kind of power can defy comprehension to the uninitiated. When Fitz says, "That's not possible", according to his world of solid facts and figures, it IS impossible. The numbers don't add up. Because when you're dealing with supernatural power birthed in the bowels of hell, all the rules are broken. Why did a containment until that could hold the Hulk break apart for the Ghost Rider? Simple: The Ghost Rider wanted out. That's it. When dealing with the supernatural, all the math, science, and logic, if you'll forgive the phrasing, can go to hell.
Fun fact, in one of the comicts were thanos kills almost evrybody to impress death the ghost rider is still alive because thanos cant kill him so he makes a pact whit him Ps you can kill the host but not the spirit, and since you killed his former host you get on his "to punish" list so you can kill as many host as you whant his going to keep coming

And "MCU" Ghost Rider pales in comparison to OG Johnny Blaze in the comics. The best comic book series/character, IMO. In a "crossover" WHILE weakened because he was partially possessed by The Brood and having an internal battle to regain control, GR defeated the bulk of the X-Men at the same time and then, killed the massive Brood Mother by grabbing her tooth then pulling her skeleton from her own hide. And strength isn't even close to his most powerful weapon, which is his Penance Stare. Neck and neck with The Hulk for the most powerful non-ethereal Marvel character. And he's pretty much immortal as long as he's bonded with Zarathos.
@carnage wow Same. I also found Gambit to be one of the most interesting X-Men/Marvel characters and think the MCU really missed out when they decided to just make him a temporary snippet in one film.
Johnny blaze was not the first to have the spirit of vengeance. He also wasn't the first to be called the ghost rider. The earliest known occurrence of a Spirit of Vengeance indwelling a human occurred in 1,000,000 BC, when a young boy belonging to a mammoth-riding tribe of early humans bargained with Mephisto to obtain revenge against a Wendigo who had slaughtered his people.
Excellent video. Rider is one of my favorite MCU characters and I’ve often thought that the most powerful in the universe would have serious trouble trying to take him down.
I believe in the comics that Stephen Strange said that the spirits are one of the most powerful beings in the known world, the only thing holding them back is the human host's limitation. And since they can only be destroyed by the power of hell or heaven, they basically are immortal, not the host but the spirit is. I feel the MCU kind of downplayed just how powerful Spirit of Vengeance are.
Hes only appeared on a web series in some parts, and not to mention the low budget .. I can bet u bro when mcu is gonna launch him in big screens , he will be epic and we all would get to see what he truly is..
Remember when Ghost Rider annihilated Dr. Strange because of a misunderstanding? Or when he rode across the galaxy leaving Mjolnir in the dust? And the best part, he can only be destroyed by the one true God. This is the version I want to see.
I really hope we get a proper ghost rider movie or show in the upcoming phases of the MCU. He's definitely one of my favourite heroes in Marvel and I'd love to see what can be done with him with modern film effects and writing. Something that would probably happen though is they'd give him some reason why he doesn't just do everyone's job for them and they'd have to give him a decent villain to overcome. Loved the video. Yeah Ghost Rider was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid in the 80s. I always saw him as epic level powerful. I suppose he could go toe to toe with Captain Marvel. But I think Scarlet Witch could still give him a run for his money though. She has the power to change reality, I bet that could be effective against Ghostie. Maybe we will be lucky and Ghost Rider will show up in the Blade reboot.
Gabriel Luna said even though the show is cancelled he’s happy that a lot of people know who Robbie Reyes is when it comes to the marvel universe. And I kinda agree with him.
As a kid, Ghost Rider was one of my fav comics. I used to collect mostly Marvel back in the 80s. I had pretty much the entire Ghost Rider series. Back then, he was never really regarded as a top tier character, nor were his powers given such extreme levels of scaling. I'd have to look at the original Marvel Universe issue with Ghost Rider to see what his powers really were back then. Marvel Universe was a comic series that was kind of like a dictionary of every character in Marvel Comics Universe, detailing their powers, origins, etc.
Same here. I had so many ghost riders comics back in the 90s and I dont remember him being strong at all. Just fighting characters like blackout, and Lilith and random criminals. They must have gave him a ridiculous power spike in the last 30 years
Some of you don’t realize that Ghost Rider in comics is literally one of the most powerful beings in Marvel history, he wipes the floor with 99.99 percent of characters. He has forms that bring him to the ability to fight monsters that are slightly under the one above all.
@@slugman7342 Well actually Ghost Rider beat Lucifer and became the King of Hell, sooo even he can't win against him. TOAA is really one of the few characters capable of beating him.
Thor's Hammer is made of Uru, which is supposed to be the strongest material in the world. Stronger than adamantium, which is also stronger than vibranium. The only thing stronger than Uru is the destroyer armor. This means Thor could dent wolverine's bones.
Ghost rider can pretty much do anything, unlike the way Thor is kind of the “god” of lightening, ghost rider is literally the spirit of vengeance. He is himself a force.
"The origins of the ghost rider are unknown" I mean, didn't they already give him his own movie? I guess the Nicholas Cage film wouldn't be part of the MCU. I still think that's a pretty good origin story for the ghost rider, though, since iirc God and the devil are actual canonical characters in the marvel multiverse.
I mean there is a few places in the comics where they describe where hes from, i dont like the fact that he said "johnny blaze is the first ghost rider" considering carter slade was the first then it was given to johnny
@@Imsupablack I never said that Johnny Blaze being the first ghost rider was the origin, I was referring to how the Ghost Rider was the devil's debt collector.

what's unfortunate is that it only works on Galactus because Galactus isn't evil, he just needs to survive. Because if he dies, then a worse entity is released and destroys the Universe. I remember reading that Galactus tried surviving of the energy of the infinity stones and even the phoenix force but it didn't work.
An idea I just had, try making a power scaling video of a potential foe. The premise: what is an avengers level threat at this point in the MCU? How strong/fast/durable would they have to be? A perfect mission would have %0 casualties, acceptable losses %10, tragic loss %30, soft reboot %50, critical %70, all out/hail Mary %100 (but the avengers are able to defeat the bad guy).
The super cool thing about Ghost Rider is that he isn't even an ex angel. Just an angel that lost a fight with literally the most powerful angel out there and had his soul warped by another dimension

If y'all grew up watching nick cage play the ghost rider then you'll know just how badass the ghost rider really is

@@ogrethesober4904 anything with nick cage is great
Oh yeah
If you read the comics recently, you'll know that holds up as well, as reyes was able to high jack a dead celestial and use it essentially as a mech suit to actually fight other celestials...

If ghost rider get into the MCU movies in any way, they'll nerf him so badly.
@@flamevale4422 Ghost Rider is definitely one of marvels most powerful heroes. But definitely not characters.

I remember that, man didn't get off of his bike. He used the Pennant Stare for just half a moment and then dipped.
Lmao thats boring af
Ghostrider is the Superman of MCU... Literally no one can defeat him with the powers he possesses (not talking about the comics, only the movies and shows)
In the Hulk & the Agents of SMASH, he burned the gamma off of the Hulk and turned him into banner (Not sure how this is relevant but I just had to add this sick demonstration of his power)...
I mean physically talking he can take on anyone and who knows if he got the Stormbreaker or the Mjolnir he could turn them into hellfire versions of his choice (That would be sooooooooo cool to see)
I mean in my opinion MCU dosent want to emphasise his character much because upto this point there hasn't been even a single weakness shown about him anywhere in the movies or the shows...

He is immortal and so is his human form by default. Satan himself made him immortal
Why was Hulk's actions justified?
@@demonpandagang Wasn't really justified (but we don't get to know that until later).

In human form the ghost rider is supposed to be at his most vulnerable. One of the only times a person with the spirit of vengeance can die is when in human form. Human form =no fight for/ giving of control. Basically it means the rider senses no evil or the person is in no danger

I've heard he actually one shot Thanos with it wth? What's the truth here y'all
@@Wall_E. I haven't read any of the comics, but it seems like comic books tend to be pretty inconsistent with character interactions. It could be that in one comic Thanos was immune to the penance stare, while he never stood a chance in another.

Ghost Rider is like a Biblically Accurate Angel more than a demon so you're right in calling him an Agent of God. Someone has to do the dirty work.
Well that would depend which Rider you're referring to under the topic of spirit of vengeance. Remember that most people don't know that Zarathos isn't the only spirit inhabiting and transforming a rider.
The spirit of vengeance is of hell. Though it’s purpose is to eliminate any evil it finds, it is a demonic force.
Also Robbie’s spirit of vengeance isn’t actually a spirit of vengeance, though it acts very similarly as a vengeful spirit. I believe that in the show it’s legit, but I’m the comics it’s not.
@@flamevale4422 well originally it was the power to summon Zarathos but have control of your actions. Thus the reason the ghost riders looked like Zarathos.

Ghost rider can pretty much do anything, unlike the way Thor is kind of the “god” of lightening, ghost rider is literally the spirit of vengeance. He is himself a force.
Yes
@@spamuel98 i was talking about the video. I agree 100% ghost rider is the debt collector
thank you for specifically explain Robbie Rayes’s Ghost Rider, not Johnny Blaze, Robbie is too underrated as few people actually talk about his Ghost Rider version
This dude is op against killers. He even beat galatcus in a comic fight simply showing galatcus all the suffering souls of his doing.
Was that cosmic ghost rider that beat Galactus
@@masonmcconnell9375 ghost rider also beat galactus in the fantastic 4 cartoon series before he ate the Earth
@@Knight_Igris insane yeah he's strong as hell lol
what's unfortunate is that it only works on Galactus because Galactus isn't evil, he just needs to survive. Because if he dies, then a worse entity is released and destroys the Universe. I remember reading that Galactus tried surviving of the energy of the infinity stones and even the phoenix force but it didn't work.
he beat mephisto bro zarathos is crazy man
Would love to see Robbie Reyes's Ghost Rider again.
I didn't watch the shield show.
But I like nick cage
Johnny blaze
The spirit of vengeance is literally indestructable, it just comes back even if you were to destroy his skull completely.
Everything dies
@@EnthusiasticAde it can literally go to another host
he's immortal
An idea I just had, try making a power scaling video of a potential foe. The premise: what is an avengers level threat at this point in the MCU? How strong/fast/durable would they have to be? A perfect mission would have %0 casualties, acceptable losses %10, tragic loss %30, soft reboot %50, critical %70, all out/hail Mary %100 (but the avengers are able to defeat the bad guy).
Nicholas Cage's ghost rider will always be top tier for me
I feel he channeled a good amount of crazy. Since the spirit definitely ain't good on your psyche
Great video, guys! We can always count on Key Issues to make high-quality content. Ghost Rider is formidable in every sense of the word.
Thank you!
Bruh he’s an angel, or at least an ex-angel of course he’s gonna be OP 💀
Dude ikr? Why didn't he mention that?
The super cool thing about Ghost Rider is that he isn't even an ex angel. Just an angel that lost a fight with literally the most powerful angel out there and had his soul warped by another dimension
