ഒരിക്കലും ഒരു വാഹനത്തെ അത്ര അധികം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന വേക്തികൾ അതിന്റെ തനിമ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തി ഉപയോഗിക്കില്ല.
മാത്രമല്ല ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹനങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും ഒരു പെട്രോൾ വാഹനം അതിന്റെ വേഗതക്ക് അനുസരിച്ച് ഗീയർ ഒക്കെ മാറി ഡ്രൈവ് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സുഖം തരില്ല. ഇപ്പോഴും ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് വാഹനം സൗണ്ട്ട് ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു കൂടി ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടാത്ത എത്രയോ ആളുകൾ ഉണ്ട്

പഴയ കാറുകളെ ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഞാൻ 1955 മുതൽ പഴയ കാറുകൾ കാണാൻ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അക്കാലത്ത് ധാരാളം കാറുകൾ പഴയത് റോഡിൽ കൂടി ഓടുന്നത് ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഞാൻ വാടകക്ക് വീളിച്ചിരുന്ന കാറുകൾ പഴയ ഷവർ ലെ , ഫോർഡ് - ഡോഡ്ജ് , സ്റ്റുഡി ബേക്കർ ഓൾഡ് സ്മോബയിൽ . ഓസ്റ്റിൽ . ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാൻ . . മോറിസ് , ലാൻഡ് മാസ്റ്റർ . മോറിസ് , വേൻ ഗാർഡ് ഈ കാറുകളെല്ലാം പെട്രോളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവയായി. അക്കാലത്ത് വാടകക്ക് കുന്നംകുളം പോയി ടാക്സി വിളിക്കും

According to Govt's Vehicle Scrappage Policy, 20 years old cars have to scrapped due to pollution norms. It would be good if Electric conversion kits fitted on older cars was permitted.

@@blessindia1 if you r car passes the autonomous test and you have money to pay increased green tax, road tax, etc... You can still run your 20+ year old vehicle in India. Govt, at least at present, can't force anyone to stop use of their personal belonging.
Some of our media's are giving false information, inorder to boost new sales.. I suppose you have seen such information and replied this comment

@@cyphercnan Even automobile journalist are not very sure of the outcome of this new policy. But car enthusiasts in many other countries have retro fitted electric motors and they drive smooth, with little to no maintenance at all.

ഇത്രെയും കാശ് മുടക്കി പരിപാലിക്കുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങൾ എന്ത് വില കൊടുത്തും സൂക്ഷിക്കില്ലെ ആരെങ്കിലും സ്ക്രാപ്പ് ആകാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുമോ. 🤔

അത് പ്രകാരം എന്തെങ്കിലും റാലിക്കോ മറ്റ് ആഘോഷങ്ങൾക്കോ പുറത്ത് ഇറക്കാനുള്ള അനുമതിയുണ്ട്....

തീർച്ചയായും. ഇത് പുകയുടെ പേരും മലിനീകരണവും ഒക്കെ വെറും പറച്ചിൽ മാത്രം. പുതിയ വാഹനങ്ങൾ വിപണിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഏതെല്ലാം ഇനത്തിൽ ഗേവർമെന്റിന് ടാക്സ് കിട്ടും, ഉത്പാതകരിൽ നിന്നും, വിൽപണകാരിൽ നിന്നും, സർവീസ് സെന്റർ വഴി, പിന്നെ റോഡ് ടാക്സ് ഇനത്തിൽ, ഇൻഷുറൻസ് ഇനത്തിൽ, അങ്ങനെ എന്തെല്ലാം വരുമാനം.
പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ ആണ് എങ്കിൽ മറ്റു എന്തെല്ലാം നിരോധിക്കണം.
ഇത് പാവപ്പെട്ടവനെ കൊള്ളയടിക്കുന്ന പരിപാടി മാത്രം.😟😢
