I built your design and they are so awesome. Stabilized my tippy jon boat, can now stand up and move around without worrying about tipping over.

That’s awesome. I’m glad they worked out for you. Mine are a little shorter now that I broke them when the wind blew my boat into the dock, but they still get the job done

Been looking at ways to add some stabilization to my 14’ tracker topper..
This may just be the quickest and most effective ideas I’ve seen yet!
    Thanks!

You're a friggin' genius! I've been looking for a solution and coming up with ideas myself. I just want to be able to throw a cast net from my 13' jon boat while standing up. After watching your video, I trashed all of my research and design ideas because you nailed it. I love the flag pole holders. That's really good out-of-the-box thinking and saves me from having to put a non-adjustable bar clamped down across the boat (the closest I came to a solution). Excellent job! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I appreciate it. I also didn’t want something crossing the boat and taking up space. I couldn’t find anything. One warning though. DO NOT leave the adjustment knobs to the base in while transporting your boat. The vibration will work them loose and they will fall out. Ask me how I know… lol
      Thanks for the feedback

I did this in 2016 for my fishing kayak but made them adjustable so i coulc raise or lower them depending on load on kayak.

Your details are terrific. Thanks for your diligence and the time you spent putting this together very much appreciated!
    Couple questions
What is the height of your transom?
Do you launch the boat off a trailer and if so, do you have the stabilizers positioned prior to launch?
I bought a homemade fiberglass boat 14 feet that is very tippy.
I probably spent 10 hrs looking at all kinds of contraptions including 2 inch foam insulation - PVC pipe filled with marine foam etc. etc.
I ordered most of the things off of Amazon today on your list and will give it a shot! Nothing ventured nothing gained.
    Thanks

      My transom is 16inches high.
I do launch the boat off a trailer and I always place the outriggers on before hand. I can be a bit precarious with docks when launching by yourself. Which is why I broke my and am currently redoing it. I decided to go out in 20+ mph wind and 2-3 foot waves. Well my boat blew straight into the dock and snappped the the flagpole mount.
I am going to shorten the aluminum tubes and perhaps add two more floats to the front. Planning on another video once I’m sure it works.
I hope that helps they work very well but launching with a dock is an issue.

What are the adjustable swivel pieces that you have mounted to the side of the boat called and where did you get them?
I want to make these for my boat.. very cool concept...

Great video. Do you have a choppy water video? I am intrigued to see that. Thank you so much for sharing!!

I do have some choppy water video that I was putting together but ran out of time. I am getting ready to run the gas out of my 4 stroke so maybe when I talk about the hangkai I will add the choppy water footage.

What size floats did you use? I see they make different lengths and widths
