@@DollarDriver hello I was thinking about driving in the evening, but I’m always afraid of trying to find apartment buildings using GPS,
I tried previously, but I always have trouble ,
Could you do some videos on evening driving ,
Love your channel
I hope you don't mind me adding to your video here is something that has helped me tremendously. In the shopping app you will see that some things are perishable. IF you look at the store layout that is all around the back walls and side walls last isles in back are perishables. To help you not get cancelled on a shop and deliver because you have had a perishable item in your cart to long, I do HBA (health and beauty), then general grocery items (nothing in fridge or freezer or produce sections), till all other merchandise is scanned and in the buggy. Then I go to the back of the store and look if there are any dairy items, grab those, grab freezer items, cheese, then meats and produce. If you notice if you do this you will finish at the front of the store near checkout. You can easily check certain products to see if their isles are close to each other in general grocery isles. Its faster to click on things and check then walk back and forth between isles. It takes a little to get used to but once you get the hang of it and follow this picking layout plan, you can pick a lot of groceries in no time.
This is awesome, thanks!
@@DollarDriver Your Welcome!
That's great advice. I will be starting soon
Thank you!!
Doing my first shop and deliver and i needed this video. So many other take too long to just show the process! Thank you so much!
Awesome! You got this! Let me know how it went.
I would love to see a new updated video on door dash, Uber eats. And any and All that you are willing to do. From beginning of what exactly to do in the app to get started and so on. ❤ Thank you so much 🙏😊❤
Thank you for this! This is the most informative video I have found! I did my first shop today and was lost until I found your video just now. Appreciate you
Thanks so much glad I could help! Congrats on your first shop, you got this! If you have any questions feel free to comment!
I always check the expiration dates too since that is the easiest way to get a bad customer rating on Spark. 😉
Great advice!!
And make sure the package is nice & not crushed or ripped. I also have a laundry basket in my car to carry multiple items in 1 trip to the customers front door
Nice idea keeps them from shifting around too
Oh wow! I never knew what most of those numbers or letters were lol. Thank you so much for sharing this 😂❤😊
Good job buddy! Very helpful … checking into spark for the first time. You have the best video by far …
Thanks so much! If you have any questions just let me know!
Thanks for your hard work, this video is really great and informative.
Thank you so much! Let me know if I can make any other videos to help you!
Make sure to add your referral code to your video description, as this is very informative and will likely gain a few thousand views over time from people who are simply interested before even applying. Could be some nice easy extra money for you.
Why would people want to be referred? like when I see those codes I have doubts about objectivity....
Thank you for posting this video. You were very detailed and you answered a lot of my questions.👍
Awesome thanks for the kind words!
wow this is incredible. i love how they streamlined the checkout process. and the organization is great, thanks for this invaluable info. I'm on the app and am gonna start taking orders real soon. D
Awesome!
The location number are also for employees that
Stock especially when they are unfamiliar with department
Thanks for sharing!
best video ever, first time sparking, would have been nice to see this video b4 I sparked, was anxious, but it turned out fine.
Awesome so glad it helped and it worked out for you!
I'm thinking about Sparking. This was a clear-cut video. Thank you.
Awesome! Spark is great and if you have any questions just let me know!
Don’t
This was a HUGE help for this new driver! Thanks and make more vids!
So happy! Thanks so much!
i did my first S&D in a sams club. the girl at the door barely spoke english and had no idea what spark was. i ventured over to the customer service and the gal working there didnt know much so she called a manager over. she knew it all and explained the isles and how to locate the items.. took me less than 5 minutes to pick up 4 things including perishable. i snacked on samples along the way.😂 she actually told me to get the perisbale items last because the times doesnt start till you scan perishables. i felt like i was in a grocery shopping game show 😂 i def rather do the pick ups but we will see how the tips go. this order was a terrible pay by the way. im new not sure what im doing and took this order for 14 miles one way.. and a tip $5 and it was snowing outside. i was paid $21 total for 1 hr of work and i had to shop and drive in the snow. so not worth it. but my next 3 trips were fantasric pay. just have to really pay attention to the details of the offers.
Awesome glad it worked out in the end and great tips btw! Keep on hustling!
Very helpful, I recently start sparking and was not comfortable doing shopping orders so I thank you tremendously for such a detail video!!! Now off I go to accepting shopping orders!!!! Blessings ❤
So happy! Thanks so much!
Thanks man, great video!!
I haven't sparked in a year and a half. Seems they've made the shops a little easier to find the items than before.
I appreciate the video bro!
Thanks a bunch! Yes they now have maps in the app too which is awesome
I'm just beginning to look at gig apps and wondering which ones you can make decent money on. I appreciate your help. The only problem is is I'm by myself so I would need to know which ones would require at least two people lol.
Hey brother! So glad I ran into your helpful video! I had to return an order the other day for being late.😝 I subscribed friend! Keep the helpful tips coming!😝
Thanks I appreciate it! If I can help with more topics etc let me know!!

Wow, Thank You!! Really helpful! God bless you
Thanks and God Bless you too!
Can you PLEASE DO A VIDEO on how to select which WALMART you want to pick up from. I live between 5 locations but only get shopping orders ftom the one same WALMART thats furthest from me. I want to do pick ups from the other W.M closets to me. Thx
This is a tough one. Normally the app will push orders to you based upon how busy they are however I have noticed if I hang out near a walmart I am more likely to get orders closer to that walmart than further away. Since they don't give much information from Walmart try a couple things and see how they work. Let me know how it goes!
I appreciate your help. Thanks
Happy to help! Let me know if you want me to make any other helpful videos!
Thank you for showing us this valuable tutorials do you know other similar apps thats shows Aisle section and moduler?
No I don’t unfortunately only the Walmart app has that info
I would like a video on your market strategies in your zone. Best time of day. How long you deliver. Are Saturdays and
Sundays your busiest days? Some drivers says Sam's club doesn't pay well. Do you have to stay in your car now on a
curbside order? Is your market becoming saturated with Spark drivers? Your best tips and tricks for Spark drivers.
Great ideas I will see what I can do! I find that weekends are definitely busier as well as mornings during the week in my area. Not sure about Sam's club but they tend to be harder to deliver in my opinion. Recently they have said drivers can not stay outside but have to stay in their cars. I believe there are more and more Spark drivers which does seem to be saturating the market :( There are also bot syndicates that are people who are using bots, that's pretty crazy.
Great job ! I would like to add to check dates on milk for customers
Great idea!
Thank you for a helpful video
Glad you found it helpful!
Didn't the app say the Valentine's item appeared to be in stock but you told the customer it was out of stock? Can you please help me understand why a shopper would do this? Thanks.
I get a lot of wrong UPC notices when it’s the correct item.. such a pain…
And it’s so nostalgic to see a Walmart with plastic bags.. NJ banned them.. we can only have the reusable ones
Yes it's tough when things are out of stock or hard to find, UPC issues, etc. I normally find a walmart employee and they can help provide a bar code to scan if you get stuck.
Well done! The only thing I would add is don't you have to scan the bar code once you make the delivery?
Yes you have bar codes to scan when you do a pick up at Walmart but when you do a shop for Walmart there is no bar code to scan. For Shop and Deliver you just take a picture or hand it to the customer depending on delivery instructions.
Can you do a multi app video? Doordash and spark?
I do have a short video here that covers a bit about multi-app...th-cam.com/users/shorts-nhhvH2e8ys
But how did you know it was B25? I didn't see that on your phone's screen. Under Aisle, it said J3, not B25. Anyway, thanks. I was looking for a video exactly like this one. You're the man!
It should be on there next to the item, might have not been clear in the video but if you get stuck let me know!
I wish i knew about the moduler numbers when i started
Yes I hear ya, I was so happy when I found out about it!
I'm currently on the waitlist for Spark..I have been watching videos so I would have a general idea of how it works once I get off the waitlist. My brother is thinking about signing up and asked me what happens if the self checkout registers aren't working.
Yes it can take a long time to get approved for spark so sign up early. In regards to checkout Walmart provides people to help you checkout if they don’t have auto checkout.
How long it should take on wait list to start spark???
Can u explain the 2 drop offs..is that 2 orders or one..going 2 different places stupid question i know..new to spark
It's not a bad question it's a great one! So if you have 2 drop offs it means 2 orders going to 2 different places. sometimes it can be the same place but that's rare. You can also have 3 drop offs sometimes as well. If you have any more questions just let me know or email me at dollardriver.org
excellent! video
Thanks so much!
So wait…you don’t have to actually scan any items at the store at the checkout? Just the qr code? Whats to stop someone from just throwing something in there thats not in the order?
I would scan the code and then bag the order at my Walmarts
I have had Spark forever and the reason why I haven't started is I feel very very weird not scanning the items at checkout lol! Walmart hovers over you big time! They'll definitely think I'm stealing and other shoppers will probably stare lol!
If you are spark Walmart knows and other people don’t really care. You got this!
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
If you're looking for an item and it says hot and ready I mean it's at the bakery department then good luck finding it
Yep the bakery is a tough spot lol! If its on the shelves it's a lot easier than the loosely organized items! There still are zones and sections numbers on the bakery items you just have to find them which can be tough.
Is it better to deliver what you have shopped or deliver what others have shopped?
Depends for express where you shop it can make more money and take less time. Just depends on the amount per mile you are getting and your time to shop.
Thanks so much
You are very welcome!
I just stopped in store shopping in my store cuz you can't find anything never have what they want in stock I always got to find a substitution it's not worth the hassle.
100% agree it's hard to find things if they are not well organized in the store or out of stock. Many times if items are out of stock and you have to wait for a customer to confirm a substitute this takes valuable time. I like to stick to orders that are smaller when possible.
Please advise me that I'm on my way to starting spark driver. Just part-time jonb. Im available morning at 7am to 1 pm and Saturday and Sunday. Monday to Friday, is it a busy time? And Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon busy. Im really appreciate you help me .
Yes weekends and mornings are busy for me so give it a try and let me know. If it’s competitive in your area you may want to park at the Walmart. Also ask the Walmart people what time spark orders release. Keep me posted!
My biggest issue with shopping is the customer will not allow subs, but then asks me to get something else when they are out of an item. If they didn't allow substitutions, is there a way you can still add a n item?
Yep!! So annoying
Not that I have found, I wish we could because then we could help the customer better.
you are better off just letting them know they Have it as no subs so they can get it changed for the next time they order, some people probably have no clue
there is no other way to get the item unless you buy it yourself and hope they pay you for it
So true
I just signed up for Spark, my question is, how can we get deposits send to our bank accounts instead of a one account?
Not that I know I think they use the branch app but it's pretty simple to transfer from branch to your bank.
Do you have to find/scan the items on the app from top to bottom or in any order?
They have a suggested order and it normally goes in a good flow so I advise using their order.
I can never use their order, although it would be great because they put cold foods in first when you have 50 items to shop for I don’t understand that but there’s no way I could get that done without being canceled. Some of them even have clothes.
Is all Spark shopping or is some of it simply picking up items? How is it paid for? Did the customer already pay and you're just picking it? I'm thinking of starting Spark, but trying to find all the answers I can first.
There are two things you can do. 1. Pick up orders from Walmart and deliver 2. Shop for orders and deliver. The first option is easier but the second can pay more especially if they are express shopping. You don’t have to pay it is already paid for by the customer. Good luck with Spark please let me know how it goes and if you have questions. You can do this!
My stores don’t have have self checkouts
Ahh that must take longer then!
What if the customer doesn't get back to you about a refund?
You just have to move on with a refund since if you wait you wont make any money.
Can you work with 2 Walmarts in your area? for more options? or just 1 at a time
Yes normally it works on proximity so the closest Walmart will send you offers but if you go next to another one then you could receive from that Walmart as well.
Does spark send you a debit card for your money? Or do you Link your bank information?
No it's already paid for you don't have to do any payments, they have a QR code you scan and it has all the details.
@DollarDriver no I mean my money that I get paid.
@@dwight8090 they are using the One card they show you when you sign up. It pays after each delivery.
How do you make any money after you shop and then drive it somewhere?
Yes it’s possible you just need to watch the miles you drive
@ You pick up a $10 order from fast food, deliver it to the customer, get a $4.00 tip then drive to next pick up. I don’t see the profit after your time, wear and tear on your car and gas.
It can sometimes be 19-20 so the key is watch the distance traveled and time it takes to shop
@@DollarDriver I would not pay $19-$20 dollar tip on a $10 order. That’s crazy.
It’s not a 10 order it’s much higher there are very few 10 orders if any
Go to say like isle 15 section 6 location 23, grab that item, look at your last 3 upc digits on the app and look at your item, if it matches scan it and go, also, SOME items, if they look just like the item on the app, example, its ground chuck meat, its 1lb, although the upc might not match, scan it anyway, sometimes it still scans as the right item, and go.
Good advice!
You should get a wagon 😊
That would be awesome!
I tried signing up today and they said there's no openings available in my area. Is that normal? Anyone know how long it typically takes to get a spot?
Yes they say that a lot you just have to keep checking. It's random but if you are persistent I think you should be able to get in.
It took me a month and they texted to let me know I was in.
I always thought that shop and deliver seems like a lot of work for the money.
Many times it’s pretty good since you do t have to wait on anyone to bring your order out. Express shop can also be very good money.
If unsure of address put address in Google yo see a pic of the home
Good advice, and if you are stuck you can message Spark and they can contact the customer as well as confirm the address.
How much was that 1 trip with 9 items?
Sorry I can’t remember:(
Curbside is so much easier
So true but you can make more money shopping express and also if curbside is slow etc that can eat into your profits. I do both :)
Also, sometimes you can control what you’re taking to the customer with shopping and curbside you get what you get and it affects your tips
I thought you have to wait outside at walmart. And a Worker will hand the order to you
There are two types of Spark orders, the pick up ones and then the shop and deliver orders where you go in and shop and then deliver.
God bro
Don’t quit your day job though
If you have one I agree it’s important to have steady income.
You didn’t tell me what Spark was or how to get the app
Spark is a deliver driver option from Walmart you can go to spark driver for details
Waist of time is no good anymore
I think some places are better than others but there are a lot of people struggling right now and using spark etc to pay the bills
Just get a job at Walmart as a shopper bro lol
You don’t have the flexibility and in my area spark drivers make more than Walmart workers
Why do u care 😂
Why not just compare the last 3 digits of the upc instead of the price, prices can change............just a crazy thought!
Great idea!
Thanks for your help❤
No worries!
Thank you!!!!!
Thank you for watching!
Thank you!
Your welcome!!
