I hope you don't mind me adding to your video here is something that has helped me tremendously. In the shopping app you will see that some things are perishable. IF you look at the store layout that is all around the back walls and side walls last isles in back are perishables. To help you not get cancelled on a shop and deliver because you have had a perishable item in your cart to long, I do HBA (health and beauty), then general grocery items (nothing in fridge or freezer or produce sections), till all other merchandise is scanned and in the buggy. Then I go to the back of the store and look if there are any dairy items, grab those, grab freezer items, cheese, then meats and produce. If you notice if you do this you will finish at the front of the store near checkout. You can easily check certain products to see if their isles are close to each other in general grocery isles. Its faster to click on things and check then walk back and forth between isles. It takes a little to get used to but once you get the hang of it and follow this picking layout plan, you can pick a lot of groceries in no time.

Thank you for this! This is the most informative video I have found! I did my first shop today and was lost until I found your video just now. Appreciate you
Very helpful, I recently start sparking and was not comfortable doing shopping orders so I thank you tremendously for such a detail video!!! Now off I go to accepting shopping orders!!!! Blessings ❤
Thanks man, great video!! I haven't sparked in a year and a half. Seems they've made the shops a little easier to find the items than before. I appreciate the video bro!
And make sure the package is nice & not crushed or ripped. I also have a laundry basket in my car to carry multiple items in 1 trip to the customers front door
Hey brother! So glad I ran into your helpful video! I had to return an order the other day for being late.😝 I subscribed friend! Keep the helpful tips coming!😝
Yes you have bar codes to scan when you do a pick up at Walmart but when you do a shop for Walmart there is no bar code to scan. For Shop and Deliver you just take a picture or hand it to the customer depending on delivery instructions.
I would like a video on your market strategies in your zone. Best time of day. How long you deliver. Are Saturdays and Sundays your busiest days? Some drivers says Sam's club doesn't pay well. Do you have to stay in your car now on a curbside order? Is your market becoming saturated with Spark drivers? Your best tips and tricks for Spark drivers.
Great ideas I will see what I can do! I find that weekends are definitely busier as well as mornings during the week in my area. Not sure about Sam's club but they tend to be harder to deliver in my opinion. Recently they have said drivers can not stay outside but have to stay in their cars. I believe there are more and more Spark drivers which does seem to be saturating the market :( There are also bot syndicates that are people who are using bots, that's pretty crazy.
It's not a bad question it's a great one! So if you have 2 drop offs it means 2 orders going to 2 different places. sometimes it can be the same place but that's rare. You can also have 3 drop offs sometimes as well. If you have any more questions just let me know or email me at dollardriver.org
Yep the bakery is a tough spot lol! If its on the shelves it's a lot easier than the loosely organized items! There still are zones and sections numbers on the bakery items you just have to find them which can be tough.
I just stopped in store shopping in my store cuz you can't find anything never have what they want in stock I always got to find a substitution it's not worth the hassle.
100% agree it's hard to find things if they are not well organized in the store or out of stock. Many times if items are out of stock and you have to wait for a customer to confirm a substitute this takes valuable time. I like to stick to orders that are smaller when possible.
Is all Spark shopping or is some of it simply picking up items? How is it paid for? Did the customer already pay and you're just picking it? I'm thinking of starting Spark, but trying to find all the answers I can first.
There are two things you can do. 1. Pick up orders from Walmart and deliver 2. Shop for orders and deliver. The first option is easier but the second can pay more especially if they are express shopping. You don’t have to pay it is already paid for by the customer. Good luck with Spark please let me know how it goes and if you have questions. You can do this!
Please advise me that I'm on my way to starting spark driver. Just part-time jonb. Im available morning at 7am to 1 pm and Saturday and Sunday. Monday to Friday, is it a busy time? And Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon busy. Im really appreciate you help me .
Yes weekends and mornings are busy for me so give it a try and let me know. If it’s competitive in your area you may want to park at the Walmart. Also ask the Walmart people what time spark orders release. Keep me posted!
My biggest issue with shopping is the customer will not allow subs, but then asks me to get something else when they are out of an item. If they didn't allow substitutions, is there a way you can still add a n item?
you are better off just letting them know they Have it as no subs so they can get it changed for the next time they order, some people probably have no clue
Yes normally it works on proximity so the closest Walmart will send you offers but if you go next to another one then you could receive from that Walmart as well.
@ You pick up a $10 order from fast food, deliver it to the customer, get a $4.00 tip then drive to next pick up. I don’t see the profit after your time, wear and tear on your car and gas.
Go to say like isle 15 section 6 location 23, grab that item, look at your last 3 upc digits on the app and look at your item, if it matches scan it and go, also, SOME items, if they look just like the item on the app, example, its ground chuck meat, its 1lb, although the upc might not match, scan it anyway, sometimes it still scans as the right item, and go.
I tried signing up today and they said there's no openings available in my area. Is that normal? Anyone know how long it typically takes to get a spot?
If you want me to make more videos like this please comment what videos you would like me to make! Thanks for watchin!

Thanks man, great video!!
I haven't sparked in a year and a half. Seems they've made the shops a little easier to find the items than before.
I appreciate the video bro!
Thanks a bunch! Yes they now have maps in the app too which is awesome
I'm thinking about Sparking. This was a clear-cut video. Thank you.
Awesome! Spark is great and if you have any questions just let me know!
Don’t
I always check the expiration dates too since that is the easiest way to get a bad customer rating on Spark. 😉
Great advice!!
And make sure the package is nice & not crushed or ripped. I also have a laundry basket in my car to carry multiple items in 1 trip to the customers front door
Nice idea keeps them from shifting around too
The location number are also for employees that
Stock especially when they are unfamiliar with department
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for showing us this valuable tutorials do you know other similar apps thats shows Aisle section and moduler?
No I don’t unfortunately only the Walmart app has that info

Well done! The only thing I would add is don't you have to scan the bar code once you make the delivery?

You are so nice!!!
I think I can do this!! ❤
You can definitely do this!! Let me n ow how it goes and if you have questions!

Can u explain the 2 drop offs..is that 2 orders or one..going 2 different places stupid question i know..new to spark

If you're looking for an item and it says hot and ready I mean it's at the bakery department then good luck finding it
Yep the bakery is a tough spot lol! If its on the shelves it's a lot easier than the loosely organized items! There still are zones and sections numbers on the bakery items you just have to find them which can be tough.
My stores don’t have have self checkouts
Ahh that must take longer then!
Do you have to find/scan the items on the app from top to bottom or in any order?
They have a suggested order and it normally goes in a good flow so I advise using their order.
I just stopped in store shopping in my store cuz you can't find anything never have what they want in stock I always got to find a substitution it's not worth the hassle.

I just signed up for Spark, my question is, how can we get deposits send to our bank accounts instead of a one account?
Not that I know I think they use the branch app but it's pretty simple to transfer from branch to your bank.

Not that I have found, I wish we could because then we could help the customer better.
you are better off just letting them know they Have it as no subs so they can get it changed for the next time they order, some people probably have no clue
there is no other way to get the item unless you buy it yourself and hope they pay you for it
So true
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Can you work with 2 Walmarts in your area? for more options? or just 1 at a time
Yes normally it works on proximity so the closest Walmart will send you offers but if you go next to another one then you could receive from that Walmart as well.
I always thought that shop and deliver seems like a lot of work for the money.
Many times it’s pretty good since you do t have to wait on anyone to bring your order out. Express shop can also be very good money.
Does spark send you a debit card for your money? Or do you Link your bank information?
No it's already paid for you don't have to do any payments, they have a QR code you scan and it has all the details.
@DollarDriver no I mean my money that I get paid.
How do you make any money after you shop and then drive it somewhere?
Yes it’s possible you just need to watch the miles you drive
@ You pick up a $10 order from fast food, deliver it to the customer, get a $4.00 tip then drive to next pick up. I don’t see the profit after your time, wear and tear on your car and gas.
It can sometimes be 19-20 so the key is watch the distance traveled and time it takes to shop
@@DollarDriver I would not pay $19-$20 dollar tip on a $10 order. That’s crazy.
It’s not a 10 order it’s much higher there are very few 10 orders if any
Curbside is so much easier
So true but you can make more money shopping express and also if curbside is slow etc that can eat into your profits. I do both :)
How much was that 1 trip with 9 items?
Sorry I can’t remember:(
Go to say like isle 15 section 6 location 23, grab that item, look at your last 3 upc digits on the app and look at your item, if it matches scan it and go, also, SOME items, if they look just like the item on the app, example, its ground chuck meat, its 1lb, although the upc might not match, scan it anyway, sometimes it still scans as the right item, and go.
Good advice!
I tried signing up today and they said there's no openings available in my area. Is that normal? Anyone know how long it typically takes to get a spot?
Yes they say that a lot you just have to keep checking. It's random but if you are persistent I think you should be able to get in.
You should get a wagon 😊
That would be awesome!
If unsure of address put address in Google yo see a pic of the home
Good advice, and if you are stuck you can message Spark and they can contact the customer as well as confirm the address.
I thought you have to wait outside at walmart. And a Worker will hand the order to you
There are two types of Spark orders, the pick up ones and then the shop and deliver orders where you go in and shop and then deliver.
Don’t quit your day job though
If you have one I agree it’s important to have steady income.
You didn’t tell me what Spark was or how to get the app
Spark is a deliver driver option from Walmart you can go to spark driver for details
Waist of time is no good anymore
I think some places are better than others but there are a lot of people struggling right now and using spark etc to pay the bills
Just get a job at Walmart as a shopper bro lol
You don’t have the flexibility and in my area spark drivers make more than Walmart workers
Why do u care 😂
Why not just compare the last 3 digits of the upc instead of the price, prices can change............just a crazy thought!
Great idea!
Thanks for your help❤
No worries!
Thank you!
Your welcome!!
