UNFAIR ADVANTAGE FOR TOP DASHERS!? PROOF and what to do about it! #doordashdriver #ubereatsdriver
I've been doing doordash and uber eats for3 years now the only tip I have for anybody that is starting is make sure you use the bathroom. I got a really bad u. T I and I almost died from holding it, worrying about the customers getting there on time and holding my urine. I think she did wonderful. That's just the only tip that I would give to anybody
Check your bald tires!
I hate this! No tips! I had this idea years ago! My biz was called one more last call, because my sisters were alcoholics and I got tired of being there last call!
Fireball
You didn't even show how to accept and locate the first order on the app.
Thanks for sharing!
My stores don’t have have self checkouts
Ahh that must take longer then!
Great video, wished I saw this 3 days ago 😅 but I've figured it outish. What's the time/mile keeper app?
Thanks!! The app was called gridwise it's pretty good!
Does spark send you a debit card for your money? Or do you Link your bank information?
No it's already paid for you don't have to do any payments, they have a QR code you scan and it has all the details.
@DollarDriver no I mean my money that I get paid.
I love your channel as an fellow doordash delivery
Thanks so much!!
Looks like most of these pickups and deliveries are local roads. Do you take any that you need to travel on the freeway to, or are those generally too far away to bother with?
I did not show freeway driving but yes it was across many miles for this day.
@@DollarDriver Thank you
Is there a difference between ignoring a offer and decline?
I don't think so unfortunately!
I just stopped in store shopping in my store cuz you can't find anything never have what they want in stock I always got to find a substitution it's not worth the hassle.
100% agree it's hard to find things if they are not well organized in the store or out of stock. Many times if items are out of stock and you have to wait for a customer to confirm a substitute this takes valuable time. I like to stick to orders that are smaller when possible.
If you're looking for an item and it says hot and ready I mean it's at the bakery department then good luck finding it
Yep the bakery is a tough spot lol! If its on the shelves it's a lot easier than the loosely organized items! There still are zones and sections numbers on the bakery items you just have to find them which can be tough.
Doordash tracks your mileage for you and sends you log at start of tax season. ONLY if you make $600 or more within that year
Yes it's nice to have a backup of what you have done to confirm Doordash has the correct details :)
100% but its good to have a 3rd party just in case DoorDash makes a mistake.
Thanks 😊 i just started 2 days ago
Awesome, how did it go?
@DollarDriver I like it 🤟🏼
Great tutorial! I’m trying to watch everything I can before I start dashing and this was the BEST video so far. Far better than what Door Dash provides. Most people head out on their own and run into the little glitches like the young lady on this video. That’s what has held me back so far. I wish I could bring you on my first round!
Hey I wish I could go! You got this! If you have any questions please let me know! Thanks for the kind words!
@ thank you! I’ll make it. I’m just a little clumsy with technology so I’m probably being too much of a cautious perfectionist before going. Thanks for support
I’ve been dashing since 2023 of September. Since then I’ve been trying to keep up dashing as a side job. They’res time it’s very slow especially when your doing it only part time. U watch the time pass go by. 😵😵😵
True it’s why I have turned on Uber as well as spark and instacart and normally it’s pretty busy.
Best video I’ve seen yet for dash tutorial💯 Now I actually feel like I understand what to do bc you showed entire process, thank you 🙏 ❤ Will you ride along with me for my first dash ? j/k 😂
Hey thanks! Would love to dash along lol hope this video feels like I am there helping out :) let me know if you have any questions!
How do you make any money after you shop and then drive it somewhere?
Yes it’s possible you just need to watch the miles you drive
@ You pick up a $10 order from fast food, deliver it to the customer, get a $4.00 tip then drive to next pick up. I don’t see the profit after your time, wear and tear on your car and gas.
It can sometimes be 19-20 so the key is watch the distance traveled and time it takes to shop
@@DollarDriver I would not pay $19-$20 dollar tip on a $10 order. That’s crazy.
It’s not a 10 order it’s much higher there are very few 10 orders if any
This video was so helpful. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks so much glad it helped!
best video ever, first time sparking, would have been nice to see this video b4 I sparked, was anxious, but it turned out fine.
Awesome so glad it helped and it worked out for you!
Can u explain the 2 drop offs..is that 2 orders or one..going 2 different places stupid question i know..new to spark
It's not a bad question it's a great one! So if you have 2 drop offs it means 2 orders going to 2 different places. sometimes it can be the same place but that's rare. You can also have 3 drop offs sometimes as well. If you have any more questions just let me know or email me at dollardriver.org
Thank you for this! This is the most informative video I have found! I did my first shop today and was lost until I found your video just now. Appreciate you
Thanks so much glad I could help! Congrats on your first shop, you got this! If you have any questions feel free to comment!
You are so nice!!! I think I can do this!! ❤
You can definitely do this!! Let me n ow how it goes and if you have questions!
What do you do with the grid app info?
You can use it at the end of the year for taxes and also track and see how much you are making per mile/per day etc.
The batch grabber, waiting list approval, account reactivation, and many other services offered by Spiratech are fantastic.
Curbside is so much easier
So true but you can make more money shopping express and also if curbside is slow etc that can eat into your profits. I do both :)
Can you share a link for that dolly please.
You can get the dolly at Walmart just check the section for moving with boxes etc it should be there.
Im starting tomorrow. I'll take my husband with me to keep me grounded. Great video, thank you
Awesome you will do great!! It’s nice to have people with you for encouragement and a great chat. Let me know how it goes!
I made $31 dollars 3 dashes, 4 hrs time frame.I got lost in the mall, and I ended 26 mins late. But I will get better. Gridwise is 👍 @DollarDriver
Awesome keep hustling!
Which one is better Uber eats or DoorDash
I like UberEats because it's quicker to get on but DoorDash seems to pay more, depends on your city. I also highly recommend Spark from Walmart, very good as well!
DoorDash is soo fake they kicked me out after I did soo many orders
Don’t quit your day job though
If you have one I agree it’s important to have steady income.
Door Dasha and Uber Eats sucks. High carbs foods will rob you of your energy and make you fat.
I agree that healthy eating is ideal as well as good exercise!
You should get a wagon 😊
That would be awesome!
I can’t believe you don’t have the food in a hot bag and that drink in a cold cooler. I always use my hot and cold bags. ALWAYS! Customers appreciate it. Even if your food isn’t that hot when u get it. If u zip it in a hot bag the heat that’s there will fill the bag and when u deliver and unzip the steam will bellow out and it’s like it makes the food hot again in a way. I hate when I order food and it comes ice cold. Especially when it’s literally from 2 miles away. Or a smoothie melted to liquid is the worst. So my customers get what they ordered in hot and cold bags no matter what. Just a hint for all you dashers that think it doesn’t matter. It does. And your tips will prove it. I put cold freezer packs in my cold cooler. That’s how I keep cold stuff cold. I used the red DoorDash hot and cold bag until I broke the zipper and just ordered a cheap one off Amazon. Doesn’t have to be an expensive one. You’re not catering 20 dif dishes at this point. If you do get to that top dasher or platinum dasher you will have provide pics of your large catering bag frequently as well as your pizza bag. Tip. Most pizza huts have DD Pizza bags they can give you for free if you ever accept a pizza order and don’t have one. Most of the large pizza chains have them. So don’t pay that $30 or whatever DD wants to charge. When they provide these chains with free ones anyways. Happy Dashing!
I thought I saw in the video she had an insulated bag in the back seat.
100% agree! I use a cooler bag from Costco, the DoorDash one zipper broke for me too.
She had a red bag that she used for the food.
Is all Spark shopping or is some of it simply picking up items? How is it paid for? Did the customer already pay and you're just picking it? I'm thinking of starting Spark, but trying to find all the answers I can first.
There are two things you can do. 1. Pick up orders from Walmart and deliver 2. Shop for orders and deliver. The first option is easier but the second can pay more especially if they are express shopping. You don’t have to pay it is already paid for by the customer. Good luck with Spark please let me know how it goes and if you have questions. You can do this!
I always thought that shop and deliver seems like a lot of work for the money.
Many times it’s pretty good since you do t have to wait on anyone to bring your order out. Express shop can also be very good money.
Why or whats the reason to screenshot and take a picture?
On delivery you can have a copy
I wish you were with me yesterday on my first day dashing. Great job you two. 😊 🇨🇦 🍁
Thanks! You can do this!
Why isn’t she delivering the food in a DoorDash bag?
She didn’t have one yet.
Im confused about the pay,so if i get an order thats $6.00,after i deliver it ,is that my pay the $6.00? Im really cobfused or do i get $15.00. Hr and get paid at end of day?
Some states and cities offer work per hour. You will see it as an option. If not then you see the amount including tip you are estimated to receive. Hope this helps!
How much does the roaming data bill for the phone eat in to your daily takings? Is Food delivery still viable if you own a petrol only car?
There is no roaming on a lot of USA plans. Yes gas can get expensive so it’s good to monitor pay per mile.
I do doordash in Wichita falls Texas and I make around 460 a day I start around 1:15 am and get off around 10:30 pm 7 days a week I love working with doordash 🥰
Do you mean you start at 1:15 pm? Or you only take 2-3 hours off per day 7 days a week!
Awesome what are some tips and tricks you have for the audience
💪
Thanks I was just going to comment that myself.@@HeartFeltGesture
How do you get someone to ride with you like you did?
It’s very rare lol
Go to say like isle 15 section 6 location 23, grab that item, look at your last 3 upc digits on the app and look at your item, if it matches scan it and go, also, SOME items, if they look just like the item on the app, example, its ground chuck meat, its 1lb, although the upc might not match, scan it anyway, sometimes it still scans as the right item, and go.
Good advice!
Yeah, I prefer not making the dasher come find me in a building lolz. Like get off your ass and meet at entrance. Heck just walk up to their car window. Like a boss
Lol
While driving on the maps if you look at the top in dark green banner the arrow will be showing you what your next turn will be be right or left or which lane you need to be in for your next turn and how for away it is
Thanks for the tip!
Great Job
Thank you!
I have everything redy to start doing dash but im too afraid of doing it. English it's not my first language so that's why im really scared 😅
You can do this! If you need any help just let me know!
I hope you don't mind me adding to your video here is something that has helped me tremendously. In the shopping app you will see that some things are perishable. IF you look at the store layout that is all around the back walls and side walls last isles in back are perishables. To help you not get cancelled on a shop and deliver because you have had a perishable item in your cart to long, I do HBA (health and beauty), then general grocery items (nothing in fridge or freezer or produce sections), till all other merchandise is scanned and in the buggy. Then I go to the back of the store and look if there are any dairy items, grab those, grab freezer items, cheese, then meats and produce. If you notice if you do this you will finish at the front of the store near checkout. You can easily check certain products to see if their isles are close to each other in general grocery isles. Its faster to click on things and check then walk back and forth between isles. It takes a little to get used to but once you get the hang of it and follow this picking layout plan, you can pick a lot of groceries in no time.
This is awesome, thanks!
