The Korg Krome is an absolute steal. Affordable, lightweight, easy to navigate through let alone the fact that you get mesmerizing sounds and features galore for either performing on stage or creating your own music. I highly recommend the Krome model by Korg to any fellow keyboard/piano player.
Thank you! You helped me decide to get a krome after almost not going for it. You changed my mind by playing the different sounds as they are meant to be played. I couldn't tell how the rhodes were on other demos because they were playing the rhodes like a grand piano and any real keyboardist knows there are playing differences in technique to translate "that sound". Thanks again! Great jams!
Nice sound and quality, but the problem on this krome, it cannot sustain the previous patch it cut the sound when you change the patch or voice.. Play piano and hit the sustain pedal, then try to select another voice like you choose string or brass. in the same time the piano will not remain sustain even if you hold the sustain pedal.
It's a graded hammer action, great piano feel. Not too tight or resistant. And also not too much on the light side. Somewhere towards the middle range just where I like it. However everyone has there own preferences on keyboard feel. I suggest you check one out in person!
I had a play on one last week. Very nice I like it very much. It's easy to operate and very child friendly also beginner friendly. Some pianist would not like it but then they like acoustic pianos only.
+KingdomMinded 87 to start you need to understand that the Krome can access up to 16 instruments on the keys at once. 16 however is overkill for most situations if you ask me. But you can layer, split, overlap sounds by setting key ranges on each part. Also in order for all the parts to play, the midi channels should be assigned to the global channel (Channel 1) That's what needs to be done to layer or splits sounds. Good luck!
The Krome and the MOXF are 2 very competitive models in price and features. I think they both have a great piano sound and feel. The one thing that's different is the ability to record audio and store to flash rom on the MOXF. Personally, I don't think you would go wrong either way. I bought a Krome 88. But I already own a Motif XF. The best of both worlds!
I have read on Korg's website(& the Korg Forum)...that the Krome can be used as a VST,inside a computer DAW...but I can't get any confirmation on this! This seems like such a major selling point, for the Krome and yet, there are no goddamn videos on TH-cam that illustrates this...WTF!??
opino que el Korg Krome esta muy bueno respecto a los sonidos pero la construccion asi como sus teclas dejan mucho que desear yo tengo uno de 73 notas es muy fragil

Loving the guitar:-)
Super!

Great chops :)
great musicians !!!
There's more coming. Next is a sequencing tutorial on the Krome that I'm currently working on. 'Stay tuned' as they say! Thanks for watching!
And yeah I know the board is some what old at this point but for live funk fusion I feel it's a really good choice!
Keyboard sounds ok, but I'll definitely be borrowing a few of those guitar licks.
Nice groove - What is that piece?
First song is a little Steely Dan-ish.
Nice.
Super

+N Stuff Music Hey there are no videos showing you step by step of How to Split and Layer. Do you know how?

N Stuff Music I don't quite follow you. How do I assign it to Channel 1?
I am confused between krome and moxf... which one is good, krome or moxf??? I love Krome's piano sounds....

They are both brilliant. It depends on what you want to do.
