- Come enjoy the back woods with me on a quick overnight truck camping adventure. this spot is off the grid, and also proved to be a hard spot to start a fire in. Had some very welcome guests show up in the morning!

Fire tip, always lay some wood down on the ground and build your fire on top of it. The ground sucks the heat and draws the water up

Nice deer footage. Very nice cuz.......ya I like electric spots in winter for a small heater. Buddy's are nice if it ain't too cold. But I'd rather pay for electric than buy more tanks. I don't want a big tank in there either. But if it was far off grid I prolly get a big tank. Sweet video peace ✌️ cuz.......

The last thing I want when camping is to worry about some nasty diesel spills or leaks. That’s just me.
I have had a diesel heater now for a while in my new truck and set up and so far have never had a spill or leak, however the potential is there so I definitely get your point of view. Hopefully that never happens! 😬
Man these videos are getting good. Babysitting a fire started from damp wood is always nerve racking wondering if it's gonna burn out at any time. The organization of your camper's looking good and ya don't drop hard earned money on the name brand. Great video, happy trails 👍

Sure, you could try one of those diesel heaters. Just be prepared that they make noises when you're sleeping. I believe it's the fuel pump that makes the noise.
Yeah I have heard them run before, I am going to attempt to put the fuel pump outside the truck. The pumps click quite loudly
