I think it's absolutely dumb that they literally replaced her with Sora for the final fight. This is Kairi going through her memories, not Sora. They could have just had the Kingdom Key appear in her hands and glowing with some of Sora's power, rather than switch her out 😐

I hope so, because I get the feeling that things are only going to continue to get more complicated and I would rather like to have him around when that happens. Putting aside that fact, I rather like having him around.
My predictions: We’re gonna get three or four spin-off games going forward: A) Riku looking for Sora. I think he’s gonna get an idea of how to get him back but then he’ll be attacked and overwhelmed by something or someone in Yozoras world. He’ll come back bloodied and battered with the necessary revelations to advance the plot and while he recovers the other two spin-offs take place. B) Aqua and Kairi training. There’s still plenty of relatively easy to handle patches of darkness left behind. Kairi and Aqua can play clean up and have plenty of great character moments. Kairi can be greatly evolved and progressed as a fighter even more and even possibly get a new outfit going into KH4. C) The least likely to happen, but I really want it to. Mickey. Scala Ad Caelum. The Fortellers. It’s literally setting up a “Jiraiya searching for Pain” type deal. Right as Mickey finds the info he needs the Fortellers are gonna show up and utterly destroy him. Before being defeated/killed/sealed/etc. he’s gonna scribble something down and give it to Pluto and then send him away with a star shard or somethin. Badass and tragic. D) Verum Rex. Speaks for itself.
I believe they'll clutch all of these in the next installment. Kairi's training as cutscenes and Mickey probably as well. After all, Riku is looking for Sora in Verum Rex universe

Yes. I wonder why they never did it beforehand. If it was because some characters have the same voice, they could've just done what normal credits do and put them side by side.
And that the ancient keyblade masters also have the power to travel to those parallel universes. Which explains why they all disappeared after the keyblade war ended, and could return the way they did in kh3 secret ending.

So I can't believe that the ancient keyblade masters and MoM have the power to literally traverse between the kh-verse and other parallel universes on their own. Certainly explains why the ending of kh3 the foretellers materialized the way they did. They were summoned from other worlds and didn't actually parish in the keyblade war. And given in the same ending we saw MoM in that other world, he must have been in the other worlds throughout the course of the kh series.
Oh my gosh I love love LOVE that Christopher Lloyd is Xehanort! I did love Rutger and Nimoy's performances of course, but there's something about the idea that Doc Brown is the villain in this story that makes me smile lol!
Man...so we practically got... - Sora's Adventures in Quadratum to look forward to... - Riku's Adventures in Quadratum as he searches for Sora... - Kairi's Adventures while training under Master Aqua... - Mickey's Adventures in Scala Ad Caelum... And since a majority of character have become playable it's definitely possible to see adaptations produced to go over it though...I'll just hope it's all condensed into a mainline game instead of waiting another couple decades of small entries like this for this new build-up of events...
A thought occurred, the Scala ad Caelum we saw in KH3 was, I believe, just a memory to trap Xehanort in. That makes me wonder how the real one looks. I'm hoping it'll have a dilapidated and crumbling ruins look to it, or maybe something else 🤔
if Kairi was kidnapped by Ansem ( Terra ) and got experimented, was she the Subject X whose freed by Braig and befriended Lea and Isa in BBS? But the Secret Note said the girl was from the past, lost her memory and only remember "May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key" which is the clue to Ava ( not Strelitzia or Skuld since Ventus from the same timeline didn't said it when he lost his memory in BBS and Braig aka Luxu never interacted with those girl ). also the Starry Person said her form is taken and only her heart remains. The revelation of Dark Ava ( possesed ) in Union X could means the Starry Person maybe is her. With all of that, Ansem experimented with Kairi and Ava ( body only but her will remains like Terra's Armor if the star is her heart ). It became more confusing since MoM and his appretinces joined the story when Luxord's and Demyx's past are still unexplained. Maybe both of them were Keyblade Wielder from Scala ad Caelum ( same case with Marluxia and Larxene from the past ). Damn we must wait for another game revelation or forced Fairy Goodmother to spoil the secret.

I can't stand how they characterized Kairi. She's nothing. Absolutely useless. Every time I hope I can see her having her badass time, without any help from Sora or Riku or anyone alse, and every time I'm disappointed. Even in her dialogues, it looks like they made her stupid, she's always clueless, everyone treats her like a child. I hate seeing the female protagonist of the saga like this. It makes me feel like I have no one to relate to. And yes, there's Aqua, she's great, but she's a side character. I don't want to feel like a side character.
Not gonna lie, it's frustrating that the catalyst character of the first game has had her soul sucked out. No longer a fun tomboy with aspirations of exploring or making friends, she's a whimpering little waif who cant manage to earn anything as she makes 30 anime noises before collapsing again.
They side lined her because she's not as Strong as Sora and riku and she just became a keyblade welder so she gets trained by aqua and terra probably awakens a dark memory probably in the next game

Gosh, the cutscene direction is so freakin' good! And the MUSIC! I really hope that the cutscene soundtrack for this gets released soon, cause I want to be able to really enjoy them just by themselves. Like, it took my third re-watch of these cutscenes to notice that they play Yozora's theme at 26:15
That theory doesn’t hold water because it’s literally the same in the Japanese version. Besides, Haley loves kingdom hearts. He would come back to voice anything with Sora in it.
I literally just checked this cutscene to check something. And I was right. _This_ is the laboratory from the End of the World in KH1. I'm actually freaking out over this. (but someone probably already noticed and made a video, I just haven't watched it yet)
The voice direction for kh3 was very bad. They didn’t even have Nomura go over the translations from Japanese to English like he did for all the other games, leading to very stilted dialogue. Apparently this game was voice directed by Kirk Thornton who also va’s Saïx/Isa. So probably why everyone sounds more alive here. Also I think a big part is that they are getting more used to using the new Unreal Engine 4. They were brand new to it in kh3.
Possibly Spoiler; Calling it Now: The Kingdom Heart Universe is the same equivalent as SAO Alicization's Underworld. You can also look at it like the Matrix. Kingdom Hearts take place in a data world with real hearts. Let Me explain as shortly as I possibly can. People who know alot about Computer will understand me the best. The Realm of Light is the active computer in process. The Realm of Darkness is the delete pile beyond the Recycle Bin. This is why the world are fragment in the Realm of Darkness. Once data passes the Recycle Bin it is not deleted. It stay there until it is replaced with new data. The Data is fragmented because it is being replaced randomly by pieces. The Sleeping Worlds are programs that never became active on the running computer. They were put into a folder and left there until someone like Riku initiate a run sequence. In Sora case he initiate a Copied version of those world. I emphasize Copied. The Seeker of Darkness copied the programs and paste them so Sora could go down the path they wanted him to go. This is why they were able to make a second Toy Story World. They have control over the programming. More on Keyblade in a minute. As for the Data World, It is no surprise that you can make a data world inside a data world. It the same as using a program to run a program inside a program or how there are games inside games. You can stack. It is also not surprising that you can place an actual heart inside another virtual world when you already are a heart inside a virtual world. The keyblade is literally the key to access program and be able to change it; or recode it. This is why the Keyblade Weider can change anything in there environment especially after they have learn the power of waking or the ability to code or access programs. The reason why Sora could time travel is because he had learn to access the coding of the story line of the game or universe. It is also the same concept of video editing where you cut out a portion of video and replace it with a new clip that alter the story of the video. Keep in mind, Maleficent also went back in time and found herself in the data world that the new dandelion leader created. How could this be unless she was in the data world in her present. In Dark Road, we learn that the world are starting to come back starting with the world first; the people; then the story. The Computer is rebooting after the incident of Kingdom Hearts. This is the same process of a computer rebooting and loading all the process that it needs in it's startup phase. When making a virtual world or game: you must first make a plan; build the world or set; then create the character; then animate the plan. All the same sequence the computer is rebooting. The Final world is a separate program or Hardrive made for hearts to exit the computer. This other wold they are speaking could be the real world or another computer that is connected to that computer. If more than one computers are connected this would explain why it felt like a dream to both Sora and Yazora connecting. I could keep explaining about the heartless; nobodies; the title of the games hinting to all this; or the oddity of both Sora and Kairi compared to everyone else; but, I have already made this comment long enough. I could have made this in more detail; but it probably already pains people to read a comment this long as it already is. The biggest question left unanswered is who made the Kingdom Heart Universe Software and why? What are the Antagonist of this story really seeking? Maybe the Administrator or Master of Master knows.

It used to be about a blue eyed boy with big shoes swinging around a giant key with Donald and Goofy. Then his unique perk got shoved out the window since it went through Sharingan syndrome (that is to say, he’s no longer unique since everyone is a fucking Keyblade wielder) and since then it became about people wanting to feel whole again, contingency plans, more contingency plans, darkness/nothingness, sleep, time travel and resurrection.
11:47 -Just imagine kairi stops the blade with her OWN keyblade. - xehanort saids something like "why do you still fight, just give up" or something of the sort -kairi gets up "my friends.." draws her keyblade, striking her battle stance, a montage of clips showing kairi, riku and sora plays as kairi saids "my friends are why I fight" - riku and sora appear behind her (not actualy them, but memories versions) strikes their pose. -the trio fights xehanort. - you unlocks destiny trio. There square I fixed your game.
I actually like how they let Kairi fight for a little bit against Master Xehanort. She got to show off some impressive moves. Let's be honest here, there was no way in hell she stood the slightest chance against Master Xehanort. And if she somehow, through ridiculous plot armor, did manage to beat him, it would just be-clown and make a joke out of a villain who doesn't deserve to made a joke out of. Only way she can possibly win is if it's a MASSIVELY NERFED Xehanort because it's technically all taking place in her heart. But that's clearly not what Nomura was wanting this Master Xehanort to be.
In regards to her manifesting and essentially summoning memory clones of Sora and Riku. At no point in the game is she shown having that kind of manipulation and control over what's going on in her own heart. She's essentially along for the ride the entire game long. And if she could do that then wouldn't all the other characters be able to do similar things when they're doing fights in their own hearts. Having battles within your own heart is not new to Kingdom Hearts. I think it's basically been in every single game now. In fact the very first place we fought in this franchise was in Sora's heart in Kingdom Hearts 1. If you could essentially be the god of everything that goes on in your own heart then there's a whole lot of battles throughout the franchise that would be drastically different.

So what was semi-confirmed is that Luxord and Demyx’s Somebodies are the very ancient keyblade masters who disappeared and went to to the world of Unreality. This also explains why we see Luxord in the car with Yozora at the end of Re:Mind. For whatever reason, they came back to Reality before the events of KH2, perhaps they needed Sora’s help? Since it’s also been hinted that the Master of Masters and his apprentices will be the main antagonists in the next KH saga, maybe Luxord and Demyx’ Somebodies need our help to defeat the MoM (they are from the same time after all, I wouldn’t be surprised if Luxord and Demyx knew the MoM and what he was planning). I guess Luxord also enlisted Yozora’s help in this endeavour, hence why he was driving him around in the Versus 13 world. Overall I cannot wait for the next instalment!! Just alone Yen Sid mentioning that we’re going to explore Scala ad Caelum (at least Mickey is) and that all the other characters are searching for Sora even a year after his disappearance. I really hope that ‘halting their efforts’ means we’re going to play as all of them in a FF6/FF13 style where there’s not only a solo protagonist. So excited!
You have to remember they’re still getting use to the new engine. Kh3 was the first game they made with it, and even then they had already started with a completely different engine before that. This shows that they are definitely improving. It’s kind of like going back to kh1 and seeing how much they improved with that engine in time.

My predictions:
We’re gonna get three or four spin-off games going forward:
A) Riku looking for Sora. I think he’s gonna get an idea of how to get him back but then he’ll be attacked and overwhelmed by something or someone in Yozoras world. He’ll come back bloodied and battered with the necessary revelations to advance the plot and while he recovers the other two spin-offs take place.
B) Aqua and Kairi training. There’s still plenty of relatively easy to handle patches of darkness left behind. Kairi and Aqua can play clean up and have plenty of great character moments. Kairi can be greatly evolved and progressed as a fighter even more and even possibly get a new outfit going into KH4.
C) The least likely to happen, but I really want it to. Mickey. Scala Ad Caelum. The Fortellers. It’s literally setting up a “Jiraiya searching for Pain” type deal. Right as Mickey finds the info he needs the Fortellers are gonna show up and utterly destroy him. Before being defeated/killed/sealed/etc. he’s gonna scribble something down and give it to Pluto and then send him away with a star shard or somethin. Badass and tragic.
D) Verum Rex. Speaks for itself.
I believe they'll clutch all of these in the next installment. Kairi's training as cutscenes and Mickey probably as well. After all, Riku is looking for Sora in Verum Rex universe

So I can't believe that the ancient keyblade masters and MoM have the power to literally traverse between the kh-verse and other parallel universes on their own.
Certainly explains why the ending of kh3 the foretellers materialized the way they did. They were summoned from other worlds and didn't actually parish in the keyblade war. And given in the same ending we saw MoM in that other world, he must have been in the other worlds throughout the course of the kh series.

But the Secret Note said the girl was from the past, lost her memory and only remember "May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key" which is the clue to Ava ( not Strelitzia or Skuld since Ventus from the same timeline didn't said it when he lost his memory in BBS and Braig aka Luxu never interacted with those girl ).
also the Starry Person said her form is taken and only her heart remains. The revelation of Dark Ava ( possesed ) in Union X could means the Starry Person maybe is her. With all of that, Ansem experimented with Kairi and Ava ( body only but her will remains like Terra's Armor if the star is her heart ). It became more confusing since MoM and his appretinces joined the story when Luxord's and Demyx's past are still unexplained. Maybe both of them were Keyblade Wielder from Scala ad Caelum ( same case with Marluxia and Larxene from the past ).

I can't stand how they characterized Kairi. She's nothing. Absolutely useless.
Every time I hope I can see her having her badass time, without any help from Sora or Riku or anyone alse, and every time I'm disappointed. Even in her dialogues, it looks like they made her stupid, she's always clueless, everyone treats her like a child.
I hate seeing the female protagonist of the saga like this. It makes me feel like I have no one to relate to.
And yes, there's Aqua, she's great, but she's a side character. I don't want to feel like a side character.

Crazy how these cutscenes are far better paced than literally any and all of the cutscenes in KH3
The voice direction for kh3 was very bad. They didn’t even have Nomura go over the translations from Japanese to English like he did for all the other games, leading to very stilted dialogue.
Apparently this game was voice directed by Kirk Thornton who also va’s Saïx/Isa. So probably why everyone sounds more alive here.
Also I think a big part is that they are getting more used to using the new Unreal Engine 4. They were brand new to it in kh3.
Possibly Spoiler; Calling it Now: The Kingdom Heart Universe is the same equivalent as SAO Alicization's Underworld. You can also look at it like the Matrix. Kingdom Hearts take place in a data world with real hearts. Let Me explain as shortly as I possibly can. People who know alot about Computer will understand me the best. The Realm of Light is the active computer in process. The Realm of Darkness is the delete pile beyond the Recycle Bin. This is why the world are fragment in the Realm of Darkness. Once data passes the Recycle Bin it is not deleted. It stay there until it is replaced with new data. The Data is fragmented because it is being replaced randomly by pieces. The Sleeping Worlds are programs that never became active on the running computer. They were put into a folder and left there until someone like Riku initiate a run sequence. In Sora case he initiate a Copied version of those world. I emphasize Copied. The Seeker of Darkness copied the programs and paste them so Sora could go down the path they wanted him to go. This is why they were able to make a second Toy Story World. They have control over the programming. More on Keyblade in a minute. As for the Data World, It is no surprise that you can make a data world inside a data world. It the same as using a program to run a program inside a program or how there are games inside games. You can stack. It is also not surprising that you can place an actual heart inside another virtual world when you already are a heart inside a virtual world. The keyblade is literally the key to access program and be able to change it; or recode it. This is why the Keyblade Weider can change anything in there environment especially after they have learn the power of waking or the ability to code or access programs. The reason why Sora could time travel is because he had learn to access the coding of the story line of the game or universe. It is also the same concept of video editing where you cut out a portion of video and replace it with a new clip that alter the story of the video. Keep in mind, Maleficent also went back in time and found herself in the data world that the new dandelion leader created. How could this be unless she was in the data world in her present. In Dark Road, we learn that the world are starting to come back starting with the world first; the people; then the story. The Computer is rebooting after the incident of Kingdom Hearts. This is the same process of a computer rebooting and loading all the process that it needs in it's startup phase. When making a virtual world or game: you must first make a plan; build the world or set; then create the character; then animate the plan. All the same sequence the computer is rebooting. The Final world is a separate program or Hardrive made for hearts to exit the computer. This other wold they are speaking could be the real world or another computer that is connected to that computer. If more than one computers are connected this would explain why it felt like a dream to both Sora and Yazora connecting. I could keep explaining about the heartless; nobodies; the title of the games hinting to all this; or the oddity of both Sora and Kairi compared to everyone else; but, I have already made this comment long enough. I could have made this in more detail; but it probably already pains people to read a comment this long as it already is. The biggest question left unanswered is who made the Kingdom Heart Universe Software and why? What are the Antagonist of this story really seeking? Maybe the Administrator or Master of Master knows.

It used to be about a blue eyed boy with big shoes swinging around a giant key with Donald and Goofy. Then his unique perk got shoved out the window since it went through Sharingan syndrome (that is to say, he’s no longer unique since everyone is a fucking Keyblade wielder) and since then it became about people wanting to feel whole again, contingency plans, more contingency plans, darkness/nothingness, sleep, time travel and resurrection.

I actually like how they let Kairi fight for a little bit against Master Xehanort. She got to show off some impressive moves.
Let's be honest here, there was no way in hell she stood the slightest chance against Master Xehanort. And if she somehow, through ridiculous plot armor, did manage to beat him, it would just be-clown and make a joke out of a villain who doesn't deserve to made a joke out of.
Only way she can possibly win is if it's a MASSIVELY NERFED Xehanort because it's technically all taking place in her heart. But that's clearly not what Nomura was wanting this Master Xehanort to be.
In regards to her manifesting and essentially summoning memory clones of Sora and Riku. At no point in the game is she shown having that kind of manipulation and control over what's going on in her own heart. She's essentially along for the ride the entire game long. And if she could do that then wouldn't all the other characters be able to do similar things when they're doing fights in their own hearts. Having battles within your own heart is not new to Kingdom Hearts. I think it's basically been in every single game now. In fact the very first place we fought in this franchise was in Sora's heart in Kingdom Hearts 1. If you could essentially be the god of everything that goes on in your own heart then there's a whole lot of battles throughout the franchise that would be drastically different.

So what was semi-confirmed is that Luxord and Demyx’s Somebodies are the very ancient keyblade masters who disappeared and went to to the world of Unreality. This also explains why we see Luxord in the car with Yozora at the end of Re:Mind. For whatever reason, they came back to Reality before the events of KH2, perhaps they needed Sora’s help? Since it’s also been hinted that the Master of Masters and his apprentices will be the main antagonists in the next KH saga, maybe Luxord and Demyx’ Somebodies need our help to defeat the MoM (they are from the same time after all, I wouldn’t be surprised if Luxord and Demyx knew the MoM and what he was planning). I guess Luxord also enlisted Yozora’s help in this endeavour, hence why he was driving him around in the Versus 13 world. Overall I cannot wait for the next instalment!! Just alone Yen Sid mentioning that we’re going to explore Scala ad Caelum (at least Mickey is) and that all the other characters are searching for Sora even a year after his disappearance. I really hope that ‘halting their efforts’ means we’re going to play as all of them in a FF6/FF13 style where there’s not only a solo protagonist. So excited!

You have to remember they’re still getting use to the new engine. Kh3 was the first game they made with it, and even then they had already started with a completely different engine before that.
This shows that they are definitely improving. It’s kind of like going back to kh1 and seeing how much they improved with that engine in time.
