5700 is the best one to Flash to gain performance hands down!!! i got an asrock 5700 and flashed it to a sapphire 5700xt other then that there is really nothing else that compares to it, i flash cards quite a bit and that is best ive seen
Would be interesting to try it using common trademarks as Asus, just to check... I mean, I have seen another videos with really better improvement. What I love about this video, is that now I know what to expect about the XFX RX470 I bought. Thanks
According Techpowerup, RX 570 is just 6% more powerful than the RX 470 in the reference model. I don´t really think that this worth the effort. Actually you can get the same improve from the Adrenaline software with it's automatic OC.
i flash my msi rx470 armor 8g with msi rx570 armor 8g vbios, and when I play some 3A games it will crash. then i wanna flash the ~ original vbios but it said error, then i can't boot up. :(
@@sudhakarkumar2080 Still using it. It is very stable and it does perform near the RX-570 because of higher clockspeeds. The only issue is high temperatures. It gets to above 80C after extended use.
Well i have same case as you, today i came to know that the card which i had is rx 470 flashed to rx 570 The problem i am having now that the card is not giving me display So if you've got any method to reflash the gpu to stock bios it would really mean a lot Thanks
@@sudhakarkumar2080 I did not face a problem like this. But when I updated my drivers I saw a performance increase. So I would recommend first you try to install fresh and latest drivers. Try DDU to uninstall old drivers first.
@@pakassassin9605 Keep the flash and clean the card and replace the thermal paste. RX 470 is already 4 years old and 4 year old thermal paste on a GPU is, well, at least 2 years too old imo.
videos like this will get you more subs.
The 470 is losing support while the 570 will still have support probably worth it to flash
With that being the case, I tend to agree.
I will flash it when amd stops the support

Excellent video. Well presented and transparent. Liked and subbed.
How did you record power consumption of the GPUs accurately
