    Love ya Bill, you are an awesome businessman, but you're trying too hard to sell your trucks.
    I don't know where you got your information on the 6.7 oil leaks, I've heard none of it and I'm on every ford diesel forum there is. I'm on my 20th 6.0 truck, I love them, I buy them for my business, because they're cheap and they have enough power to pull what we need to pull. But when it comes to my personal truck, it's not close. The 6.0 isn't in the same league as a 6.7. I'm on my 2nd 6.7, this one is an F450 and the motor, transmission, brakes, technology, comfort, ride etc... is just incredible.
    As far as fuel mileage, again, you're blowing smoke. My 17 F350 consistently gets better MPG untouched than my fully tuned and deleted 2007 and 2004 F350's that I drive at work and both trucks never tow and are never loaded with anything. I just like trucks.
    As far as the DEF, nice try. If you were talking about a Ram, you might have a point, they burn DEF at a crazy clip, but the fords might run you 20 bucks every 2000 miles. It's just not an issue.
    The bottom line is the 11-19 trucks are 10 times more refined, much more comfortable, much more capable and the emissions controls are not an issue. I get it, you can't delete new trucks, but here's the thing, you don't have to delete 6.7's. Untouched, they smoke the 6.0 in power, capacity and fuel mileage.
    The only thing a 6.0 has over a 6.7 is the purchase price. You have to fix the thing before it's dependable. All these other guys in these comments simply can't afford a 6.7 truck, so they're going to agree with you. Guys, if you can't afford a 2011-2020 truck, just say so, don't try and act like a 7.3 or 6.0 is somehow superior. You are insulting the people at Ford that did one hell of a job designing this 6.7 drivetrain and you're insulting my intelligence. just stop it.

    • @seanhazelwood3311
      @seanhazelwood3311 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Everything you spent so much time complimenting is what's Wrong with 6.7s.
      Regen is stupid, DEF is stupid, DPF is stupid. That shit IS unreliable and expensive. Just use cats, they work.
      All of the other computerized crap is unreliable and expensive. I truthfully cannot stand the interiors and controls on new trucks.
      A Pickup does not need 1000lbs of torque. Why do you think they detune commercial trucks?
      There are many 500k mile 7.3s, 5.9s, and a few 6.0s and Duramaxs. There will never be a 6.7 PS that lasts that long. For nearly $100k, it should last literally forever.

    • @seanhazelwood3311
      @seanhazelwood3311 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I almost forgot about EGR cooling. Whoever thought that introducing 600 plus degrees of extra heat into the engine cooling system that's meant for 250 degrees was a flipping moron. This applies to All engines that use it.
      3/4tons and up are meant for work, borderline abuse, and should do so every day for many years.
      My 2002 7.3 and my 2004 cummins both have over 400k on them. Both pull 15k cattle trailers almost daily with no problems. I also drive them daily. Both still Average 16mpg. No repairs to date larger than a clutch.
      When a 6.0 ps, 6.4 ps, 6.7 ps, 6.7 cummins, or duramax can do that i'll buy one.

      @@raydornbush I've had three 7.3 trucks, loved them all, but they are dinosaurs compared to even the 6.0 trucks. If you ever had the opportunity to drive a 2011 through 2019 6.7, you would immediately take your truck to the used car lot. You can't pull the loads that a 6.7 can pull, you can't stop the loads that a 6.7 can pull and the transmission in all those 7.3 trucks is one step above a car transmission.
      If you can't afford a 6.7 equipped truck, just say so, don't hide behind the crap you're spewing.

We put 2 Mishimoto radiators in back to back that leaked as soon as the system pressurized. They must not test them before they ship. They might have a lifetime warranty but when you have to pay $50 each time to ship a new one, plus put your truck in the shop for a day and pay labor plus buy new antifreeze each time to keep from any possible contamination, it gets real expensive, real fast.

Hell for another $100,000 you can buy a “used” ranch style house , of course depending on the houses location.

      Do you know what you are talking about? Have you priced one out on Ford's site? A king ranch 250 is at least 70k. Plus taxes and all the fees is 80-90k. I live in Canada and a king ranch is definately that much. Limited is 90k or so before taxes. Go price one out and actually use your head before trying to say these guys don't know what they are talking about.

    im glad im not the only one..... "burn more to make less"??
    but then our semis have to drive 300 miles to get the fuel..... and then 300 miles back, plus another 70 to get to the end of the "zone of service"
    and they make this trip 2 to 5 times a day.... harvest season, farmers are SUCKING down the fuel
    do you know how much energy it takes to find, drill, pump, transport, refine, transport to bulk, transport to gas station.... and other steps i missed???
    thats a LOT of energy
    as soon as the warranty is over.... ALL emission systems disappear
    im pretty sure montana's state constitution tells to EPA to fuck off (just like it does on the 2nd amendment.... it STATES its an individual right)
    MT has actually said "hey, if you do that, we are no longer a state because of this contract"...... and the media says "CRAZY MONTANA WANTS TO SECEDE FROM UNION!!!
    like... im a democrat, and climate change is fucking real
    but driving my old 77 chevy 1/2s 400 sbc with full time 4 wheel drive around at 8 to 12 mpg....
    still better for the environment than making a WHOLE NEW damn truck
    plus, back in the 70s.... labor unions existed, and most of it came from the USA

    Bill I love your videos. And I love all the hard work you've done on making 6.0 trucks good solid trucks. But here's the deal. I can't speak to anywhere else. But here in Minnesota... If I go to my credit union and say I want to get an auto loan. I'm looking at a 2005 F350. And I need $35,000+. They will be more than happy to give me that loan. Provided of course I have AT LEAST $20,000 down. In which case... I'll just get a different truck for cash.
    I'm really not trying to be a dick. I'm just pointing out that most people need to get a loan for a vehicle at that price and banks will give a little more than book value. But not 35k on a truck that books for 15k.
    I know you sell the trucks. I'm not suggesting you don't or that you won't. I just don't even want to think about the "creative" financing people find to pay for them.

    • @danielgause1195
      @danielgause1195 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Brandon Crimmins somebody gets it! I love the channel too, but at the end of they day they’re salesmen. And their trucks are a niche market.
      Another point they forget to mention that if you buy one of their $30,000 trucks, you better plan on keeping it a long time. Because guess what? it’s still a 15+-year old truck if you try to trade it in or sell it. No dealer is going to care that it’s been restored and “dealer-proofed.” It’s only worth NADA to 99% of people. So... buy a new truck and lose $20,000 or one of theirs and still lose $20,000. I don’t mean to bash powerstroke speciality, but these are just some of the cold hard facts.

    I don't understand the whole far superior truck angle for the newer diesels.... to me personally for example let's use a 7.3. The engine can be upgraded for more power while maintaining reliability with relative ease, the suspension can be upgraded to better handle towing and as far as the noise is concerned it's a diesel they're noisy and I like the loud clatter of a diesel... sorry if no one else does to bad. There's a few other thing to mention but I won't go any further than this for now.

    Do an entire seminar on current emissions equipment (2020) along with possible outcomes with this stuff later in engine life. Is a 400,000 mile 2020 powerstroke even remotely possible?

    • @kennethobando5755
      @kennethobando5755 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes if the truck is highway driven or works hard each day. and does not idle excessively. If not it will die a early death and have emissions issues due to always being stuck in regens.

    Holly fricken crap I couldn't believe he said $90k I knew it was expensive but damm. I don't care how nice the new one is I will not be giving up my old 2003 7.3 6-speed I know it's slow but it's just fine for me
    Edit: was just thinking about it and even though it'll have to be rebuilt some day it still saves tons of money.

    • @raydornbush
      @raydornbush 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When it's time to rebuild it do some mods to it to increase power/driveability if you think a 7.3 is slow.. it'll wake right up for you. Add power the correct way though because rolling coal is garbage, it's a waste, bad for the engine and environment on the same token just throwing parts at it with little know how just allows the rods to see sunshine and breath a little...

    I have a 2006 Ford F350 dually, I'm going to be selling with my Lance camper. The combined units cost 88 thousand new. I still have the new sticker. I'm asking 45 thousand for the pair or best reasonable offers. Both units have titles. If you buy a lance without a title, then it's on YOU! My 981 Lance slide in camper is FULLY loaded with every possible option. I mean everything including solar panel. My Ford F 350 has 22 thousand miles on it. All documented miles. The camper has been stored in a warehouse for some time but was brought home the last few years. My truck sits in the huge garage I have. The truck was professionally modified with new 5" exhaust and chipped up to get better MPG and an air ride all done to make sure it didn't harm the 6.0. I don't even know how to change the settings on the chipped thing. It was set to haul my camper and I never changed it. Reason for selling, well it's health problems. We bought the units to see the US, my wife got breast cancer, my health turned south and we never went anywhere but my daughters house. After 4 bouts with breast cancer, I don't think we'll see the US via camper. Twice used and that's it! billforgrace@yahoo.com is my e-mail address, this spring it goes up for sale. I will not separate the pair, for you need a need a dually to haul my camper. I get aprox. 18 MPG with the settings I have. Hauls the camper great. I'm in Ga. I get 13 healing the camper. I do not drive hard like Bill. lol, The camper has a slide out, wet bath and never ever was #2 done in the thing. The fully loaded lance camper has a flush kit anyway, convection oven, generator with less than 10 hours. I do start the generator every month or so. I do drive the truck 5 miles to recycle my garage about once a month. I have an offer from the man that does my yard but he doesn't want the camper.

    These are amazing trucks, and beautifully restored. The only problem is most banks won't give loans out for vehicles over 10 years old, we would all love to know is there Banks out there that are willing to loan money for these good trucks and don't discriminate on age of vehicle?

    • @dm17nc17
      @dm17nc17 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are some for exotic cars of high value that are old up to 10yrs if you can believe it but its was a non-bank doing it. I doubt they would do it for a f250 due to the age and mileage, they don't care that its "new".

    Still driving my 2000 F-250 Lariat 7.3 4X4 W/188,000 miles and it's still running great... Strait pipe exhaust, No EGR Crap on this truck :) And I'm still getting about 18 mpg!

    I get 18ish hwy in my 2017 6.7, same as my 7.3. It barely uses any DEF and regens are unnoticeable. I know a handful of people with 6.7 work trucks. Railroad, foreman, etc. All have over 250k miles. A few have over 11,000 hours and over 5,000 idle hours. All these trucks still have factory emissions intact and have had no issues. I understand the 6.4 set a bad tone for DPF's but it's a very different story for the 6.7. I loved my 7.3 but it's also nice starting my truck without the exhaust running my wife and kids out of the house.

      100% Yeah man, I have a few buddies with well over 150K miles on their 6.7's and no issues whatsoever. I think they got it right for the most part with the 6.7. Most people that are smart with their cash are going to purchase a truck that is maybe 3 years old to save that depreciation hit. At least that is what I do. I too keep my 7.3 for backup.

    I bought 2 2017 6.7s brand new one gets 17 mpg highway and 14 city mpg it has 100,000 miles and the other gets 20 mpg highway and 15 mpg city it has 55,000 miles. Don't know why they are different. Both trucks tow 15-20,000 lbs daily spring through fall and get 10 mpg doing that at 75 mph. I can never figure out why people say they get 12 mpg not towing they must be beating the crap out of them or doing super short trips causing regen but that's their fault not the trucks, you should only have a diesel for work not just driving.
