That black goop on the elbow was most likely ratchet grease. They use it so tight ratchet joints won't be scraping against each other with how much friction they have. My guess is it was just a little spillage.
Definitely better than when I was a kid and my dad bought some industrial grease to fix the garage door and it was dark red. Looked like someone had murdered our cat and used its blood as lubricant.
I still don’t get how people are less interested in your videos not about transformers. The quality is always top tier and the figures are often really interesting because I would never think of looking at them myself but then you show how cool they can be if you step outside your comfort zone and give it a chance.

This is one of my favorite Jobby reviews in awhile, not because of the content, but just because you can really tell Jobby was enjoying himself and this figure. In some of his lines you could really hear his glee and it makes me smile.
What I like about the "battlemask" face option, I say for my head canon. It works well with his background/lore, being that he was a gladiator on Cybertron. But knowing Megatron, this man doesn't need no such thing
The sword is actually a German sword called the Zweihander, it was made to break other swords in combat which in my opinion definitely suits Megatron with him being a gladiator and pretty much warlord

The reason so many transformers don't ship with batteries is to avoid running afoul of customs as batteries are considered a dangerous item if they get too hot or leak acid. Plus mint in box collectors hate them as it forces you to take them out if you're keeping them for a long time.
Bumblebee has the best designs, and this replicates the designs perfectly! I hope the beast wars movie coming out takes a note from bumblebee and combines the classic designs with the more modern ones. Great review!
ROTB is indeed doing that. We’ve seen leaked merch artwork for Prime and Bee. Prime looks pretty much still like his BBM design with modifications and new parts. Bee while a camaro still is simplified and has smooth elements and parts from his BBM design. Arcee and Nightbird was also described when the movie was announced as G1 looking.
My only problem are the faces. Bee, Optimus, Jackie, Soundwave and Shockwave look great, but everyone else who usually has a humanoid face looks weird. Arcee especially looks like she has a doll's face and it just looks creepy.

This is instantly one of my favorite Jobby reviews, you can tell he loves this figure and the reference to the MP-36 review in the end was awesome. 10/10 review.
Honestly, Jobby is Honestly my favorite toy review youtuber because of how lively and not too cheesy he is. Other youtubers like emgo (too childish) or primevsprime (too bland) aren't very exciting that much. Also, the kind of content he does works for his character.
not to mention that he has high value in his production and it doesn't feel amateurish. He's really improved over the years and is by far one of the best reviewers IMO.
plus Jobby keeps it shorter, scripted and straight to the point with good editing compared to the other reviewers you mention who just mostly upload their raw reviews that can go to like 30 minutes for just a simple figure
The only reason PvP gets the views he does is because he gets stolen/leaked figures from Takara/Hasbro factories thats it (I’ll give him this he shows off the figures better than Chefatron).

I love megatrons design here it calls back to his days as a miner definitely not built for war but instead he built himself into a war machine and the sword is a nice hint to his gladiator days
You know this design of Megatron is perfect for the live action movies,i can definitely hear frank welker or hugo weaving voicing this version, hopefully we get something like this in the movies eventually
IMO the armor should’ve been a brighter silver rather than gunmetal grey, it would’ve added some much needed contrast to his palette. The design itself looks amazing but everything gets lost in the mass of dark grey.

We know that Rise of the Beasts will have Beast Wars Megatron, though if I'm right he was said to be a snake not a T-Rex, but that still gives us the chance for the head and tail arms. I'm excited to see what he's gonna look like, especially if they're keeping the robot mode more BW accurate that will be interesting to see, yeeees.

That transformation is one of the coolest I've seen on your channel so far. Love the hidden tank tracks. I feel like normally you'd just put them onto the backside of the legs which is also perfectly fine, but the moving plates just feel premium.

I think my most favorite feature is the details when in tank mode. it may be just me but the details to me give the impression that his tank form, wasn't always a tank form. it makes me remember the comic series that portrayed megatron as a mining drill/mining truck. and it makes me wish for a bonus weapon set that lets you either attatch a dozer scoop or drill. plus a flail to you know, tie in that g1 goodness.

I pretty much figured this figure was actually an upscale of the design used for the Micro Changer figure back in 2019. And I think there was a model of him made for the Bumblebee that used a similar design as this.
Love watching all the mechanical details shift around during thr transformation. My favorite part of modern transformers is when their pieces rotate and shift like a jigsaw puzzle
I thought that the transformation would be like Devil Savior Split or Optimus Prime 3.0, but it looked more like something out of Unique Toys's brilliant engineering.
Speaking of fanart of a potential Megatron being in the Bumblebee movie, recently I heard that the Studio Series is gonna be releasing Transformers that didn't appear in any of the movies and are using concept art to create these new figures. And yes, this also includes Megatron.

This is by far the best Megatron I have ever seen. I always felt that it made more sense to make him into a tank than a small pistol. This figure really captures the G1 Megatron look, and the "Metal Slug" aesthetics really works for a Cybertronian tank that is supposed to bear a slight resemblance to an Abrams.

I thought that the transformation would be like Devil Savior Split or Optimus Prime 3.0, but it looked more like something out of Unique Toys's brilliant engineering.

Speaking of fanart of a potential Megatron being in the Bumblebee movie, recently I heard that the Studio Series is gonna be releasing Transformers that didn't appear in any of the movies and are using concept art to create these new figures. And yes, this also includes Megatron.

This is by far the best Megatron I have ever seen. I always felt that it made more sense to make him into a tank than a small pistol. This figure really captures the G1 Megatron look, and the "Metal Slug" aesthetics really works for a Cybertronian tank that is supposed to bear a slight resemblance to an Abrams.

Those arms coming together was the first time I noticed that peg. My FAVORITE bit of transformers design is when there are pegs you don't notice are there or don't realize they are pegs.
Part of me feels like if he did show up in the movie, Hasbro would try and roll out a toy that isn't nearly as good as this
