Yeah, Florida is definitely what you make of it. I hear people complain, but show me a place that doesn't have its own problems. For me, I'll take sunshine most of the year any day.
Exactly! Every place has its ups and downs, and Florida is no different. But if you love sunshine, warm weather, and the lifestyle that comes with it, this state can be a great fit. It’s all about finding what works best for you. Thanks for sharing your take on it-I'm right there with you!
Yes of course there's a downside absolutely living there for 10 years yes there is. Veronica you are awesome thank you for the video thank you for all the information and you are absolutely gorgeous❤❤❤
Thank you!
Everyone in florida sells real estate... As a matter of fact, there are more licensed realtors than there are actual listings in the state...
Florida is in the subtropics. The natives get it and you never hear them complain. Its the transplants than can't handle it. its also the transplants that buy up homes in flood zones and dont understand the true meaning of the 1,000 year flood zone line. Hint: It doesn't mean it will be 1,000 years before you get flooded....
You bring up some great points! Florida does have a high number of Realtors, which can make competition intense. And you're right, the subtropical climate and the flood zone realities are things that can catch newcomers off guard. It’s so important for people moving here to understand the unique challenges of living in Florida, from weather to real estate markets. Education on things like flood zones can make a world of difference when it comes to protecting your investment. Thanks for sharing your perspective-it's a conversation we should all be having!
North Florida is cool . Been here my entire life.
Layed back lifestyle with an Animal waste enforcement sign directly behind. Strictly.
so ... let me get this straight.. you got bugs, high humidity, Hot summers, HOA fees, Insurance issues that are driving fixed income people nuts. building upgrades which will cost in some cases thousands and you think its still a good place to move to... hummmm ...
You bring up some valid concerns that many people face when moving to Florida. The bugs, heat, HOA fees, insurance costs, and building assessments can definitely be challenging, especially for those on a fixed income. Florida isn't for everyone, and it's important to weigh all these factors before making a decision. But for those who prioritize sunshine, outdoor living, and the unique lifestyle Florida offers, it can still be a great place to call home. It really depends on what you're looking for in a location. Thanks for your comment-it's definitely a conversation worth having!
AND you forgot to mention COLLAPSING CONDO towers with people inside them.
@@Dalton_D You're absolutely right-that was a tragic and devastating event that has deeply affected many people in Florida. The safety of condo buildings has become a significant concern, and it's something that potential buyers need to be aware of. Inspections, maintenance, and staying informed about the building's structural integrity are critical. Thank you for bringing this up-it's an important reminder of the serious considerations that come with living in certain areas.
As a homeowner here in Florida, the insurance crisis is disastrous.
@@jodollman8136 I completely understand where you're coming from. The insurance crisis in Florida has been incredibly challenging for homeowners, and it's something that needs serious attention. The rising costs and uncertainty have made it tough for many people to manage. Hopefully, we’ll see some changes that can help alleviate the burden. Thanks for sharing your experience-you're not alone in feeling this way.
😂DeSantis set up FL for billionaires
Middle class can no longer afford it
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Florida's changing landscape has definitely sparked a lot of discussion, especially when it comes to the impact on the middle class.
It's what corporate politicians do. All while they're trying to distract us by convincing the middle class that their enemies are the poor, immigrants, or any alternative group. Meanwhile they're dancing through tax loopholes on the way to the bank.
You are absolutely right....
Certainly not true. Florida is HUGE. So many places that even poor people live comfortably in.
@@GillAgainsIsland12 I think the implied idea is that the middle class can no longer afford the location and type of house they once could. Generally I would agree. Fl tax shelter laws etc... But yes you can live comfortably, somewhere, depending on your subjective idea of comfort.
I live here. It’s a disgusting place; horrible traffic, humidity, and heat. Lousy produce, terrible crime, constant road rage
