i find it amazing the lengths some will go to in restoration and repair videos. if anything, i personally would like a narration/explanation as in parts that were repaired vs replaced. but i understand that not only adds time to production but can take away from viewership. but i will ALWAYS appreciate someone who take the time needed to do the job right.
I think this might be my old Sawzall. I had this exact model and I sold it 2 years ago when I sold it it had both pink white and green spray paint on it as shown. I wonder if this is where it ended up.
Really ?!?! He disassembles the Sawzall, cleans it, greases it and then reassembles it. And it works. Not once did he check the motor, oil it or have anything to do with. Amazing, simply amazing.
You were doing solid work until you dropped the carb cleaner on the plastic. Carb cleaner will deteriorate plastic and make it brittle. Use a light brush of mineral spirits or brush thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.
Bro what's the difference? Half ofthese restoration vids are just clean and polish jobs anyway. A repair only makes the video more satisfying nd genuine
I'm a brushless boy but I'll always have a special place in my heart reserved for that "old-school sparky cool." Great restoration bro!!

*_This was excellent. You really went all out. Love the result._*
Nice work. I'd rather see things restored to a good working condition than to a mirrored finish better than new museum piece. 👍👍

cảm ơn . quả thực ý nghĩa với tôi, 1 like cho bạn 😊😍🥰
I love seeing previously restored tools being used to restore a mew project

maybe it was working before he disassembles it?🤷♂️

Enjoyed the video. Note: way too much Loctite
Lol thought the same. I saw it was the RED Loctite too and thought WOOF! Just throw the thing in the trash if it breaks again.
Very good restoration 👍👍👍Thank you for sharing. Be safe🇨🇦

You, my friend . Is a genius 👏

Good Work 👍
How do you know what order everything goes back in? That’s always what I wondered when taking things apart
They probably play back the video they are taking.
Take picture’s😉
Manual
Just wing it lol.
If you put it back together wrong, it'll usually let you know on first power-up lmao
Can someone explain to me why he torched the front piece and put it in oil?
That drill looks like a dewalt but performs like a Bauer 😂
👍👍😘😘
Best work
Well done.👍

A hot strong alum solution will dissolve steel screws in an aluminium casting
a substance that can consume steel but leave aluminum untouched?
Gonna look into this.
Hi, just a quick question, what size torx bit did you use at 2:49? Thanks.
some ppl shouldnt own nice tools
Just mad that we can afford the newest versions every year cause we actually use our tools for work
😎😎😎👍👍👍
Very old my ass, still available in stores...
This is more like a repair than restoration, but good job otherwise! 👍
when your putting the back piece on with the 2 brushes, there is a positive and negative, which one goes where?
🥰🥰🥰

Hi
This caption should be "Repair and Cleaning: not a restoration video".

Wow really. A newer tool has to be restored. Damn republicans and China. Btw love the mikita working on the Milwaukee
He is a Chinese...

bro really doesnt know how to use an impact🤣
چون رنگ نزدی خوب نشد
"very old"... hah.
you are repairing it, why use less, it will break again, it will be tired for a new one in 5 months.
Пчелкой быстрее было бы.
