Sup Demi! Wow…you are really knocking it out of the park with these outside of Disney/Universal videos! It looks like I have another park to add to my bucket list. It looks so beautiful and fun! I can’t wait to see where else you will take us! Also, Twisted Timbers looks amazing…it looks very similar to Wildcat’s Revenge at Hersheypark.
I live 10 minutes from KD! We practically live there 😂. How do I keep missing you in the Virginia parks? Boo blasters used to be Scooby Doo themed. I really miss that!
@@MagicalHijinx Out of the three regional parks in the area only BGW seems to be worth going to anymore as unlike KD or six flags in MD. they're still receiving major cap ex improvements especially given the fact that they're in a tourist market. Being in NOVA I used to attend six flags from 98 (when it was known as Adventure world) and later KD after six flags essentially became the redheaded stepchild of the chain a few years after AW's corporate owners purchased six flags from Time Warner and more recently KD is essentially becoming a carbon copy of SFA in terms of the lack of major investment in the park so that leaves BGW as the only remaining park in the region as cedar fair has essentially turned KD into the redheaded stepchild of that chain as well in recent years. For instance KD has lost more major rides than they've installed since 2015. They first lost shockwave at the end of the 15 season, followed by hurler which became twisted timbers of course and then more re cently volcano which they STILL have not replaced yet and now they're getting the shaft yet again for 2024.
I live about 35 40 minutes from kings dominion and I like the park but for parents like me that have children of the age of 10 to like 12 there are no rides for them at all at this park it’s either rides that are to big or to small for them to enjoy there is no middle ground at all so my son is board most of the time because he doesn’t want to ride the baby stuff they have and the other roller coasters are just to big for him so I wish they would make a park /side for the middle age kids then the park would be bomb for me , I do love that it’s not that far from me it’s definitely something to do if you want to get out the house
Thanks for showing me how Kings Dominion looks today, as someone who hasn't been there since the end of the 90s. I'm happy Cedar Fair has gone back to some classic theming, but a little surprised at the re-theming of the bobsled coaster. It used to be all decorated in flags of major Winter Olympic countries, which made more sense?
Oh that’s so interesting! I think the theming works because it’s in an Adventureland section of the park with other animal themed attractions, but that would have been cool to see!
@@MagicalHijinx Yeah it was called Avalance and even back then the area was I believe was jungle-themed for the movie Congo since Paramount owned the park back then and the Volcano was beside it as well if I remember correctly
You should come back some time for winter fest the shows are great and we have awesome food and lights and because of the cold the antique cars run super fast
@@MagicalHijinx just simple things. Nothing serious. The WindSeeker you said was a drop tower or I miss understood. A lot of the rides were down or had long wait times (twisted timbers was only running one train for a long time) due to maintenance since they have started year-round operations . It was still an awesome video. I'm always happy to see my park on TH-cam. You should definitely come back when they are staffed 100%. Schools here stay in till June. Anyway I fully enjoyed your video and love seeing new people and their opinions on the park. And yes you're right both parks are beautiful because they are in the beautiful state of Virginia. ❤️
Wooden coasters are my absolute fave (you're gonna love the GhostRider at Knott's Berry Farm AND you can meet Charlie Brown)! Safe travels to the West coast (best coast)! PS - When you're back in Orlando you HAVE to go to the Jurassic Park tribute store at Universal.
I live about three hours away from KD in VaBeach. Great to see you on VA! I still prefer Disney and Universal ! So glad you enjoyed yourself! Have a safe trip back home!😊
To me Disney and Universal are on a totally different level since they’re run by giant media companies and they’re great! But I hope that people will also see the beauty and value at other parks as well! We had a great time! And thanks!!

Oh no I would have loved that! I was only in VA for Memorial Day weekend!
@@MagicalHijinx we were in both parks that weekend….so sorry we didn’t see you tho☹️
Wow never knew that

Kings Dominion is one of the Cedar Fair parks I keep forgetting about! Thanks for sharing your time there! I'll have to add it to the list!
I loved it so much!

Oh wow! I can definitely see that now that you pointed it out! Thank you for sharing this!
Looked like a fun time Demi! I was just at Six Flags: Great Adventure today!
Ahh I hope you had a great time!
@@MagicalHijinx Yes I did!
I need to check this park out! I just went to Busch Gardens last week! Moved to Virginia in October.
Yes you have to go!

I liked it better when the bobsled coaster was named Avalanche and had the winter Olympics theme. A reptile theme makes no sense.

Hiiiii. I love I love your videos and I also like where you are right now🎉❤
Thank you so much Angela!
This whole park is reminding me of Hershey Park with its rides!!
Very similar!

Ah that sounds so magical!
Great video that's my happy place my home away from home. You did get a couple things wrong but that's okay for someone on their first visit. 😂
What did I get wrong?

Nope. I said the drop tower wasn’t running due to wind! And thank you! I’m so glad I got to visit!
I think they meant that the video was showing WindSeeker by Xtreme Skyflyer when you said Drop Tower, which is in front of the Soak City. 😉

Yes! I’ve been wanting to go!! And yes I’m so excited for Ghost Rider!
Why didn’t you ride dominator?
It was down!
Delirium doesn’t go upside down, but Berserker does.

@@MagicalHijinx I do love KD and BG! Come back for the holidays at BG! The weather is chilly but BG is gorgeous! 🤗
Does the back lot have a big drop?
Not like a big drop, it’s mostly launches and sharp turns!
Wooo
🙌🙌🙌
the best cedar fair parks are Kings dominion, Kings island, Carowinds, Cedar point, knotts berry farm and canadas wonderland which is my home park!
My Knotts Berry Farm video is coming out today at 6pm!
Awwww, I I’ve Peanuts and SNOOPY!❤❤❤
They are the best!!
Lol she said 300 degree drop lol
Bruh. The hurler was the lame version of the twisted tembers
