Kings Dominion 2023: The Consummate Guide and Full Park Tour

- Kings Dominion is one of our favorite Cedar Fair parks but last year we only captured a walk through of the different sections so you know we had to go back and give you a FULL PARK walk through of the beautiful venue.
This video highlights some amazing attractions such as Twisted Timbers, Intimidator 305, Tumbili and the whole Jungle X-pedition section, Candy Apple Grove, flat rides such as Bad Apple, Americana, and Drop Tower, and of course the iconic singing mushrooms.
This park has so much to offer and we cover it all except for the Planet Snoopy section where we will be launching a separate explore video featuring that.
Ever wonder how to get into Soak City? We will show you. What is the quickest way to get to Apple Zapple? We got your back. Is there a way to actually get on Grizzly? We will show you the way. Where can I get a drink at this park? We answer those questions and so much more.
Kings Dominion is sometimes overlooked but this video proves that it would be a mistake. Top attractions, great entertainment and some of the most beautiful landscape awaits you in this video.

That was an awesome walk-through! I used to go to Kings Dominion almost every weekend throughout the early 90s into the early 2000s. So much nostalgia as you were walking through and seeing how much it's changed! I used to work in that arcade/game section near where shockwave was. What a fun first job. Thanks for what you do!

So many great memories at this park. My family used to go every summer when I was a kid, and it was still a Paramount park.

Really nice footage. Would it be possible to do a walk-through with just the music/sounds of the park. I enjoy hearing your commentary, but it's also nice to hear nothing but the park and imagine yourself being there!

Do you guys have any idea when I305 is reopening? I’ve read that it’s undergoing refurbishments and I’m seriously praying it reopens before my trip there at the start of June! Thanks for a great tour!
Thanks for the kind words, I have heard the same thing but nothing that I can confirm. My thoughts are that if it wasn't going to be ready to go for the main summer season, we would have known (like they said with Grizzly and the retracking). I'm thinking your June trip should be good to go but remember it is an Intamin so it can go down any day at any time.

I'm going for the first time this July! Now I've got an idea of what to expect! My kids are 5, 3 and (will be when we go) 6mths. The peanuts part of the park is probably going to be the favorite! Any advice for first-timers with young kids?

What is your favorite rollercoaster out of the ones you have ridden at BGW? Mine is Lochness Monster (I’ve ridden apollos chariot, verbolten, invadr, Lochness, and gRoVeR’s aLpInE eXpReSs)
It is always hard to pick a favorite but my top three would be verbolten, pantheon and alpengeist
What else do they have beside the roller coasters and the restaurants?

Do you like Dominator?
We love Dominator and is a MUST ride every visit. Now where does it compare with the other coasters, we have it ranked third. Twisted Timbers is our top coaster at KD and actually top 5 for us overall. We also love I-305 2nd because it is so unique. Dominator is a solid third. What do you think
It's disappointing to hear you refer to a roller coaster that has been honored as having historic significance as a "knock off". I realize it was built a couple years after its sister coaster, but you should think about the connotation when you're describing these attractions.
