We defeinitely prefer Busch Gardens Williamsburg for sentimental reasons. We grew up with it as well. And I (Alice) don't enjoy these huge thrill rides so it doesn't matter to me which park has more thrill rides. I am much more into the smaller rides like the Scrambler or Battering Ram - and the shows! BGW has such great shows. So we definitely don't mean to knock Busch Gardens. It is such a beautiful park! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
I have been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg but not Kings Dominion. Thanks for the great views and wonderful information. Falling 27 stories at 72 miles per hour at Drop tower sound amazing. Have a great day.
Lots of awesome rides. Fun! Fun! Fun! I love a good roller coaster. I think I would need a number of passes to get through all the rides. I think I would leave 9:08 out! Big Bad Wolf sounds like my ride. I think Peter will keep his feet on the ground, He does not even like his feet dangling on a simple chairlift. Those Splashdown drops are great if it is a hot day and you dry quickly. It is not fun going around looking like a drowned rat Thank you for taking us along Jack and Alice. 👍🏼🙏🏼🤗♥ have a great week.
These 2 parks look so much fun. I would love to visit both of them someday if the family is ever up for it. I appreciate the rundown on all these awesome coasters from both parks. KD has the edge on thrill rides, but I agree, based on everything I've heard, that both are well worth a visit for families and theme park enthusiasts. We had the same Scooby-Doo coaster at Carowinds when I was a kid. I rode it when I was like 4 and cried. I rode it a few weeks later and had fun. It's still a fun little coaster, but my youngest daughter, Stella, still refuses to ride it. Sorry that they removed Big Bad Wolf. 😢
Virginia is blessed to have two of the most beautiful theme parks (in my opinion) in the country! Both parks are wonderful with amazing rides, I’d recommend both of them to anyone!
Very neat how these places are close to each other to have different options of places to go and I really enjoyed the history and information here and wow that intimidator Kings Dominion 305 looks wild!!
@phazongroove and @timothywait9457 - This video was posted two months before Darkoaster opened at Busch Gardens. We have experienced it since and think it is a really fun family coaster. But we were unable to include it in the March 2023 video since it didn't open until May 2023. Thanks for watching!
Ok so we used to ride all these rides when are kids were younger but we can’t do this anymore 😂 We just like to walk around with a beer 🍻 We are kind of jealous watching everyone walk around in T-shirts and flip flops! We can’t wait for a warm up around here!!! Fun video!!!!
Looks so much fun, but I don’t think I can take this one. I guess I will fainting when dropping down😄😄but enjoyed watching. Thank you for wonderful sharing 👍👍
11:26 hey just a small correction, it’s actually drop or height in general of over 200 feet. Just putting that straight for any non-coaster enthusiasts out there!
I do love some thrill rides myself! I love rollercoasters I just don’t do well spinning lol. He spinning quickly does me in haha! The pumpkin coaster is cute lol! Wooden coasters are so neat but they make me nervous just as they are so rickety hahaha! Some of those coasters - wow! They look way more intense than Disney and universal haha. The intimidator does look intimidating lol. 300 foot drop wow 😮 I don’t think I could do that one lol. I also would never be able to do the spinning roller coaster either spinning head over heals on the track would make me so sick 😂 I get butterflies looking at those swinging rides and drop towers too lol. I love that you call them “willing participants” getting dropped haha 😂 I can do Tower of Terror but definitely couldn’t do those. I guess I don’t like thrill rides near as much as I thought after watching how intense some of these are LOL! Awesome video you guys. So much fun to watch and see all of the different rides. 😊
I mean, both parks seem to have some great rides... I think that 90 degree drop on Gryphon (I think that's what you called it) would be the roughest thrill for me... yeah, Pantheon looks pretty thrilling also.. ha ha... wowzers...
Cool to see wooden coasters. Interesting this all started in 75. Wow that vertical drop is amazing. Great mix of thrill and kid rides. Both parks seem pretty good. Good to know KD is the king of thrill. Cheers to the adventure.
Ive not been to either parks but they look fun. I won't try the extreme rides but Gary would definitely try them. Hed probably even do the crazy ones. Hes a daredevil. I need to try some different places but im so addicted to Disney World and Universal.
I’m guessing you have a season pass for Busch Garden? Our oldest love coasters. The older I get, the less I can do the spinning rides. Rosalie would love those kid coasters. Intimidator seems a bit extreme. You both do a great job sharing the load as the voice of the channel. You Jack need to do I rose all the coasters at Park. Might get dizzy.
No Intimidator for me lol Sounds like they would both be fun parks to visit though :) Lots of neat rides! We hope to get Universal passes soon and get the kids into some bigger rides! They are almost ready haha We are real excited for Mario Land to open there too haha
Yeah, Jack enjoys those monstrous rides but I don’t even enjoy looking at some of them. I will join you in Sesame Street land! Thanks for watching and commenting!
The "Scooby Doo", The Rebel Yell, The Dominator, and The Intimidator are all awesome! The Intimidator 305 is a favorite of ours. Twisted Timber is also one that we enjoy. We prefer Kings Dominion but like Busch Gardens. Thanks for sharing both parks.
The intimidator 305, holy cow! I got nervous just watching your video! I’m with you, Alice. I’ll stick to the less 🤢 rides! Very nice comparison between the parks though!
I am kind of a little between you guys on my love of thrill rides. I really have to be in the mood. Bill is pretty good with them, but he’s not a big ride guy to start with. Love how you compared them and drew from your experiences through the years.
The "Great Pumpkin Coaster" would be just our speed, Jack and Alice! I'm afraid we may pass on the others. Out hearts are still ticking correctly and would love to keep it that way! 🤣🤣Thanks for bringing us along. Have fun Jack!
I've never been to King's Dominion, but from your video, it looks a lot like Valleyfair, which is another Cedar Fair park, and the closest one to where we live. I'm with Alice - I skip the big thrill rides. I'm jealous of your proximity to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, though, because that park is just so pretty.
Busch Gardens really is such a pretty park. I am glad to know I am not the only one interested in those gigantic, crazy looking rides. But they always have long lines so they must have their fans. I am content to ride the train and see the shows and enjoy some tamer rides. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
My days of hitting every coaster are over but I enjoy wooden roller coasters. Those swings way up in the air are an absolute no go for me. Very nice comparison!
Great comparison..of course I'm a little biased to BGW. Alot of the rides at KD, coaster wise, aren't ones I enjoy riding multiple times. Anaconda has not aged nearly as well as Nessie. I will say if you want a good ride on Nessie, now is the time. She was running pretty smooth this past weekend after having a break and I'm sure some TLC!!! Hope to see y'all around!!
We haven’t been to either of these, so great to see a comparison! I may skip the loss of vision and consciousness though 😂! I love the Italian Job, guess they didn’t want to pay the rights! The non- coaster look more crazy than the coasters to me! Those old coasters are scary! That dive coaster is crazy! These are for sure thrill parks!
You are definitely right. Busch Gardens has much more and much better entertainment… which we will discuss in a future video. All of these thrill rides look crazy to me but they have long lines so there must be plenty of people who love them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
305 is the best coaster out of both parks and you won't go on it? My girlfriend and I take our daughters to KD all the time and we all ride it over and over. You are missing out big time.
Awesome upload here my friends
Thanks again enjoy the weekend 👍👍🥰
Thanks for watching our video comparing two of our favorite theme parks. We are glad you enjoyed it! Hope you are having a nice weekend as well!
I think it will always be Busch Gardens Williamsburg for me, so many childhood memories!
We defeinitely prefer Busch Gardens Williamsburg for sentimental reasons. We grew up with it as well. I’ll be going to Virginia soon this year & will definitely be visiting both these parks
You will have a great time! Both of these theme parks are a lot of fun. Thanks for watching our video - and for taking the time to comment!
Both parks have some exciting rides. Fantastic comparison of the two. Awesome information.
I have been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg but not Kings Dominion. Thanks for the great views and wonderful information. Falling 27 stories at 72 miles per hour at Drop tower sound amazing.
Have a great day.
Excellent comparison of the 2 parks. Very helpful & informative video! Great footage of the rides! Thanks for sharing!
PERFECT 🥰 💞 👌 Full support guys!!! ❤️ Very Nice ♥️👌🌹 Looking forward to this one !!!
I have always wanted to go there!! I love amusement parks sooo much! Thanks for sharing, new friend 👍👍👍
Great comparison! Thanks guys! Hope you are well! - Michelle & Brian
I have never been to Busch Gardens. I love places like this. I will have to visit our next time in VA.
Lots of awesome rides. Fun! Fun! Fun! I love a good roller coaster. I think I would need a number of passes to get through all the rides. I think I would leave 9:08 out! Kings Dominion for the win! But yeah, wouldn't mind spending a full day at either of those places 😁
Looks like they have some cool coasters 😎👍

what happen to Dark Koaster at Busch Gardens
Phazongroove correct

Great Side By Side! They both look like they would be a lot of fun!
Temporary loss of vision? I'd be scared to death not being able to see after a ride! Yikes!
This is fun to watch!
Have a great week friends 😊.
This was when it first opened and they have since slowed it down. This is hands down the best rollercoaster you will ever ride.

Wow 😍
Nice sharing ☺️
Joined 👍 Stay blessed and connected 😍
Love thrill rides, and I need to get to some of these other theme parks! Really want to ride Intimidator!!
I do love some thrill rides myself! I love rollercoasters I just don’t do well spinning lol. He spinning quickly does me in haha! The pumpkin coaster is cute lol! Ha ha!!! There was a lot of nope in there, but you know I do love Sesame Street land 😁💙Jenn
Yeah, Jack enjoys those monstrous rides but I don’t even enjoy looking at some of them. I will join you in Sesame Street land! Thanks for watching and commenting!
You guys have more courage than me lol.. I'll just watch from afar. I'm not a rollercoaster guy. Kings Dominion wins it with all the crazy rides.
I adore rollercoasters! You probably have never ridden Verbolten at bgw. Lemme tell you, it’s life changing.
We have to pick ONE?! Could be at my screen for awhile deciding! LOL!
The intimidator 305, holy cow! I got nervous just watching your video! I’m with you, Alice. I’ll stick to the less 🤢 rides! Very nice comparison between the parks though!
They look like fun rides
Jack certainly loves these rides. I tend to stick to tamer rides. But these are really fun parks with something for everyone. Thanks for watching!
How sweet to have two parks so close to each other. See Dominion has a few different rides from Kings Island.
I am kind of a little between you guys on my love of thrill rides. I really have to be in the mood. Bill is pretty good with them, but he’s not a big ride guy to start with. Love how you compared them and drew from your experiences through the years.

Nice upload video, have a nice day, I’m new friend always like
I think they both do but I prefer BGW more since they have more "entertainment" compared to KD. LIKE 13. Full watch. 👍👍👍
You are definitely right. Busch Gardens has much more and much better entertainment… which we will discuss in a future video. All of these thrill rides look crazy to me but they have long lines so there must be plenty of people who love them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I like this but im scared to ride it's like im dying 😆
How u gonna do a comparison video and not ride 305
We both used to love thrill rides….but as we have aged we like the slow ones. Doesn’t take much to cause aches and pains these days 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Hello 🤗🙋👍
Hello! Thanks for watching!
KD > BG as of 2023 overall. Both are my home parks. But BG > KD if rides arent my focus.
