Check Valve Removed, No Engine Load, YangDong Y385T 3 Cyl Diesel Engine, In a Jinma 254/284 Tractor

Removing spring loaded check valve on outlet side of injection pump fuel chamber. Purpose of check valve is to aid cold starting. Preventing fuel chamber from back draining after shut down. Video simply shows that engine will run without the check valve (ball & spring). www.ranchhandsupply.com

Hi, The first thing I would check is to make sure you do not have a problem with available fuel to the injection pump.I have had / seen problems with the factory sediment bowls and the rubber fuel line from the bowl to the lift pump. I have a upgraded fuel sediment bowl kit on my web site. May or may not be your problem???.
