The weird thing, they actually accept pretty every Pokemon you show them. Speedrunners used to them show them Kabutops and somehow still got through. 😂

The way the game works in handheld mode is that pressing the A button throws a ball at the exact center of the screen. You can use motion controls or the camera stick to aim.

The song is pleasure quarter from gravity Rush. Definitely play the game if you get the chance, its PS exclusive, including in their game pass, and one of the best games I’ve ever played.

This is one of the games with the lowest barrier to entry for speed running in my opinion and it's genuinely fun. Lots of other games have grinds to them with certain kill points in the run where you might as well reset. Even when a Let's Go run goes poorly I still wanna play it through though.
Great Vid! This is why I also like watching Firered R2 speedruns, every run is different and the 60 catch count really shakes things up
There's a reason this is my favorite Pokemon speedrun. And actually prefer AOP to any% cause catching is the funnest part. Well til dratini says no 😂

Lets be honest these are underrated games
People generally hate it but this is my favorite pokemon game. Nostalgia has a lot to do since i started with Blue on the Gameboy.

I definitely understand why if you've only played the game casually, but I can't recommend enough trying a speedrun of this game! It will 100% change your outlook on then.

Oh hey, that's me! While I don't know how many of us currently hold a WR (and to be clear, mine is in a pretty niche category extension), there's definitely more women runners out there! I recommend checking out Frame Fatales (GDQ's all women marathon). There's a couple of Pokémon runs on the schedule for their upcoming event!
