Prequel - amazingly acrobatic.. some move seem ridiculous to some audiences but it is actually surprisingly practical (like Count Dooku encounter.. that move rising lightsaber before striking is actually modelled after Japanese sword art that I don't remember its name.. the ridiculous move that you see also meant to tire the opponent thus making them to give a room enabling to strike a fatal blow) Original - tanky duel but every blow is likely very lethal had both side is not careful
As a swordsman myself in my opinion. OG fight scenes are more realistic, heavy and unsettling. Prequel fight scenes, because of they're from more civilized age, they're literal dances. While sequel fights are..............
@@AmateurMediaCritics not entirely realistic by actual life and death standards but compared to prequels or sequels, OT fights don't have many flashy moves. Old man Obi Wan vs Vader fight scene from A New Hope is a bit slow tbh but can't blame Mr. Alec Guinness though.
You got think about it this way these people are super people predicting every move using the force to strengthen their bodies that's how yoda can fight
Best lightsaber fight I have ever seen is the youtube video ”SC 38 Reimagined”
Actually wait no, I forgot Obi-Wan vs Anakin
SC 38 was a fantastic video. Seeing that kind of energy in a fight I've seen who knows how many times was so much fun

Fantastic description. They're both great for their own unique reasons
It's crazy trying to think what I thought of these movies when I first watched them because they were so long ago

But did you know that Ewan and Hayden practiced the Anakin Vs Obi-Wan fight for months so it is possible at least
@@The7thFleet yes! Heard the editing crew have to slow down the fight scene because both of them are fighting so fast.
@@Aelxi yeah lmao
The insight here is pretty interesting. I always wondered how realistic the OT fights were compared to what would actually happen

If I had to pick my favorite lightsaber duel, it would either be obi wan vs anakin or Luke vs darth Vader
Im right there with you
Anakin vs obi wan and Yoda vs Palpatine
Both fantastic fights. Im planning on covering the prequels next and can't wait to talk about them
