I completed all story with Eternal Empire and I IT'S WAS BEST STORY IN SWTOR for my Light Sith Warrior. Not only because of the Eternal Empire itself and Valkorion, but because of my personal connections to my Wrath and how he developed, how he changed in this period of story. At first, my Wrath was a ordinal Sith. Despite what he had code of honor from the beginning and served the Empire and protected it's people, he still was a Sith. He wanted to gain more power for his selfish goals, to make himself truly powerful to be free. He killed, twisted and lied to gain it. He enjoyed his power and how he played a puppet for Baras, only to wait to dethrone master and take his place. And even later, my Wrath began question himself. Was he truly a Sith? Does Sith even makes a "weak" choices like him? Does even code of honor make sence? There should be a way to be "true Sith". So my Wrath with this idea began learning more dark secrets, disrespecting his enemy's and exploit his power. But all changed with Vette. Her love melted down Wrath's cold heart. Yet, despite that, Wrath later made his biggest mistake. When Vette's mother died, my Wrath encouraged Vette to take revenge, because he thought it's was right. He was so angered that he thought revenge and being "true sith" will help. Only later he understood HOW HE WAS SUPER WRONG. What he could protected Vette from this. He could, but he didn't did it. He failed to be just good lover for one soul, who knowed his unmasked face and birthname. So he began to redeem himself. He fully embraced his code of honor and his serving for the Empire. After dealing with Makeb, Illum, Revan and Isoth, my Wrath understood what he already have all. His love and friends. He doesn't need to be "true Sith" So... How KOTFE and KOTET events affected on my Wrath? After losing Vette, he understood what he doesn't even need power or something another. He needs only her and his code of honor to be simply happy. After the reunion, love between my Wrath and Vette ignited again and this time, he did everything to be sure he is a good husband. And after all of this events, my Wrath became entire different person. He became much more caring about people around him, learned to lead with inspiration and honor for the name of peace and protecting innocents. And EVEN began to joke! Like imitating Vookie's rough or having fun with Mecha Droid (Vette even promised one to him for Life Day). Seriously, he didn't joked very much until KOTET. At first he wanted to destroy the Eternal Throne, but he claimed its power as peacekeeper. Despite being literally the same guy, Vitiate and Valkorion seem very different for me. Vitiate is just a rip-off of Palpatine. Valkorion’ dilemma with his family is far more interesting.
I would LOVE for this to be true. It could explain MANY things about Snoke, Knights of Ren and First Order in a cool way. If this was true then I would assume that he created Knights of Ren to find worthy vessel for his soul, body that would not rot from his overwhelming power of dark side like body of Snoke and Ben Solo's body could have the biggest potential to contain his power.

Aha I knew it, Valkorion's voiced by Darin de Paul! Thought I recognized it somewhere. Very Ardyn-y, but a tad deeper. Fitting I guess since both are evil immortal manipulators.
vaylin:... arcan: you are late! vaylin: tch... I.... *valkorion gives her a stare* vaylin: clear the room! arcan: That includes you too! *vaylin leaves*
Valkorion allowed his physical death to take the outlanders body as his new vessel. In the Sith story line one of the teachers which is the female Sith sorcerer tries to do the same thing.
I guess, but the scene earlier where Marr rams his ship into the Eternal Fleet is supposed to be his blaze of glory. This is just him finally saying his piece, as the de-facto leader of the Empire, to the Emperor. This isn't the last we see of Marr anyway.
Marr was ultra powerful more powerful then dooku and was killed by one stroke of valkorians lightning . This just goes to show how much people underestimate valkorians hes the most powerful force user in the whole star wars saga
So if Darth Marr dies (tragic, they kill all the good (not good as in good and evil but good as in being a good character) sith characters) is Dath Nox/Occlus/Imperius the stronguest member of the Dark Council?
Canonically/officially, in terms of the Old Republic storyline, both Nox and the Empire's Wrath were either died in combat or disappeared for good in the war fought when the Eternal Empire attacked. The Outlander is technically an entirely different character, but both the Wrath and Nox are gone by the time chapter 2 takes place. They mention in one of the codices that every single member of the Dark Council went out this way - either dead or disappeared. The only high-ranking Sith to last was Darth Acina. This is part of why she became Empress; all of her rivals were gone. Clearly now, we can see how the Empire eventually crumbled and died off, giving way to Darth Ruin millenia later. Their ebtire powerbase was broken apart by the Eternal Empire. This is why the KotFE trailer only shows them fighting the Sith - because that's who caught the brunt of the EE. Without the Emperor, the Wrath, Nox, Marr or virtually any of their power characters and Council members left, the Sith stood no chance. The next major expansion (which is supposed to get back into the republic vs empire focus) is probably going to get into detail over how the Sith broke apart. I wouldn't be surprised if it starts with a splinter faction of Sith breaking away from Acina. They might just have where the player character forms his/her own splinter group. From there on, it's history - different groups breaking off from each other
Justin Lacek Actually, Darth Vowrawn survived too, as he always does. Some say that Arcann had a thing with Acina too. About Nox, I like to think that he saw the shit coming and went to explore the Rishi Maze in his quest for immortality, but that's just what I like to think.
For a guy called Emperor he was suprisingly easy to kill. Like seriously it took a 15 minute lightsaber fight to kill darth Maul and it took an entire team of jedi to kill Darth Malgus but Emporer Valkorian is killed by a guy with terrible lightsaber fighting technic and a girl who doesn't even do anything.
Why re the people mumbling about game animations and graphic and compare them to PRE-RENDERED CGI TRAILER and saying that they re bad? Like... yeah, they re worse then in trailer just like in every fcking game. WoW, TESO, FFXIV and every other MMO s have trailer that re cool af but ingame looks lot worse. ' cause its CGI trailers. But wait a minute - on another video, I saw people complaining that it wasn't MMO-based enough. Toxic, indecisive community that complains about everything apparently
Justin Lacek Not everyone is the same. Just because some people say some things doesn't mean all people automatically agree.
Valkorian deserves his own live action
5:26 vitiate could easily be saying this to disney " no ambition only jealousy"
Am I the only one who thinks, that this is a bit like the stuff from TLJ? I mean: Sith apprentice catchs the enemy and brings it to the sith leaders throne room. The apprentice betrays his master/leader and fights side by side with the enemy against the leader. The leader dies, the enemy escapes and the apprentice is like "I dont know what happened here, but I am the big boss now"
DarthKawaiiBTS
Dont worry, I know that, but I was about to say, that Disney maybe was inspiried by that🤔
@@thisiswherethefunbegins38 Inspired?
@@FalconOnFilm ?
Yea but this is the reversal version
And RoS is pretty much the entire plot of Kotfe/kotet
Despite being literally the same guy, Vitiate and Valkorion seem very different for me. Vitiate is just a rip-off of Palpatine. Valkorion’ dilemma with his family is far more interesting.
Is it just me or does the voice of Valkorion (tone, mannerisms and all) sound not unlike a certain Supreme Leader?
This scene totally feels like the Throne Room scene from the new movie.
Michael Sorrentino bro!
Michael Sorrentino snoke isn't human
I would LOVE for this to be true. It could explain MANY things about Snoke, Knights of Ren and First Order in a cool way. If this was true then I would assume that he created Knights of Ren to find worthy vessel for his soul, body that would not rot from his overwhelming power of dark side like body of Snoke and Ben Solo's body could have the biggest potential to contain his power.
Illuminati Valkorian ain’t human either. Well at least his original body.
He was from the Sith species and has black eyes as dark as the void.
I wish this was made today rather than in 2008. Could really benefit from the technology and consoles available to fufill the games scope and ambition without sacrificing aesthetics
Marr died like a glorious hero does...
Fighting!
came here after watching the cinematic compilation of swtor.. got a bit surprised to say the least.
Better than the last movies
Jay Higgs And Prequels
Nope.
Am i the only one who actually likes the Prequels more than the original Movies?
MidgetKek you are not alone
what?
“I will not kneel!”
That line has so much more relevance in 2020.
Darth Marr was my homey. One of the awesomest characters in SWTOR.
Playing this currently with my Chiss Agent. It's so detailed that it's like it's own stand alone spinoff game O.O & Darth Marr dying from a little Force lightning was embarrassingly pathetic, sustained FL I could see but not one quick shock.
might isn't always so obvious in the hands of a master and Valkorion is most defiantly a master.
you sure his lighting wasnt UNLIMITED POWAR?
Facts what an embarrassment of an ending After all that hard talk shit smh
I think it was mainly to show how powerful Valkorion was.
I wish the Eternal empire had a theme that wasn't as bright and cheery, it should have been darker.
With of due respect my lord.
But you did make it this way.
I think it's the themes of re inventing himself
People really out here expecting game graphics to be EXACTLY like the trailers lol
While being completely oblivious to the fact that their pc would not survive if the game actually had those graphics, lol.
And love it. People talk shit about the trailers and the gameplay but I never saw someone talking about WoW this way. And is literally the same shit, dope realistic cinematics and this kind of graphics. Lmao
my cheese toasty is nowhere near this cheesy!
I love this. Arcann, Thexan and Vaylin are three of my most favourite Star Wars characters of all time alongside Phasma, Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Savage Opress, Darth Vader and more
Phasma would have fit better in the old republic
Tbh sometimes I think the best way to enjoy this scene is to close your eyes and just imagine the how the characters are moving around in your head.
I was disappointed for darth Marr to die like that he was my favorite sith lord and he was one of the few sith to truly see your characters true potential (I've only played sith inquisitor so far)
Same, but since we were captured by Vitiate I didn't expect him to survive, after all he has no reason to spare us.
While I'm sad that he did die, his method of death was perfect for a Sith: in an act of defiance of another who would chain him, weapon in hand.
All i can hear is.. it's three dog auuuuuuw!
Way to ruin the game for me 😂
:( Darth Marr ;_;
I feel like Michael Ironside would play Emperor Valkorion perfectly in live-action.
Aha I knew it, Valkorion's voiced by Darin de Paul! Thought I recognized it somewhere. Very Ardyn-y, but a tad deeper. Fitting I guess since both are evil immortal manipulators.
2:20 I’m so glad that Darth Marr called out valkyrions cowardice, the fear of death is something even normal people can overcome but he could not
He sounds like Darth Revan with a cold.
This alone is better than everything disney ever made
I love darth marr. one of my top 5 favorite sith. maybe even one of my favorite star wars characters
Darth Marr had some sick ass guitar chops! when playing with the band The Siths alongside Lord Morr-Iz-A, they produced some bangers together
MF emperor dies and all he says as his last word is "so be it?" must be planning something like Sidious when he died.
vaylin:...
arcan: you are late!
vaylin: tch... I....
*valkorion gives her a stare*
vaylin: clear the room!
arcan: That includes you too!
*vaylin leaves*
Better than the sequels
RIP DARTH MARR, A TRUE IMPERIAL PATRIOT
i would have prefered a kotor 3 as swtor, but i would have liked they used a villain like valkoryon.
valkorion cant die !
" A god has no family "
Zeus and his seasons of incest disagrees with that notion
Valkorion allowed his physical death to take the outlanders body as his new vessel. In the Sith story line one of the teachers which is the female Sith sorcerer tries to do the same thing.
Emperor vitiate and emperor valkorion are the same
DARTH VADER Reaalyyyy???
Spartan Løcke yes the emperor was killed but came back as valkorian
@@jimmu8689 has he come back again after this?
@@heymitch1519 yes
i thought the nigga was immortal?? bravo to Darin De Paul for the legendary voice acting.
Why is this reminds me of rey and kylo ren scene in TLJ?
Because Disney not only rips of the OT. It rips off games that it owns :P
Lol ardyn izunia is less "oily" here
Off my chair jester, the kings sits there.... oh wait wrong game
He's not dead guy he is the most powerful Sith too ever live he is just toying with them this is one of his vessels
Its kinda sad how they killed marr like that,it should have been an emotional death not a simple one
0:00 - 0:40 can we please hold it that the music at the beginning is soooo Beautiful and i love that the most?
The way that Darth Marr died was a pathetic way for him to go. Even Galen Marek and Darth Vader both went out with a blaze of glory.
Is this a game or a movie and what is its name?
@@ahmed.kazm3625 star wars: The Old Republic. It was a cutscene from an mmorpg game.
@@BottleDeopt Thank you very much
I guess, but the scene earlier where Marr rams his ship into the Eternal Fleet is supposed to be his blaze of glory.
Marr was what the sith needed to endure perhaps the sith empire could have lasted longer if their were more like him.
wow that animation tho looks stunning
kingslayer Pierre yee ikr
i thought it was the cinematic trailer 😂😂
So if Darth Marr dies (tragic, they kill all the good (not good as in good and evil but good as in being a good character) sith characters) is Dath Nox/Occlus/Imperius the stronguest member of the Dark Council?
At this rate he is the only one left... maybe?
@@hectorantias3173 You're right, Vowrawn did survive. He's a weakling though, that's the only problem
@@justinlacek1481 no whoever you take into the exspansion is the out lander its just that the classes you arent playing as disappear
The resolution to the two Kotor games. This is what they did with it
For a guy called Emperor he was suprisingly easy to kill. Like seriously it took a 15 minute lightsaber fight to kill darth Maul and it took an entire team of jedi to kill Darth Malgus but Emporer Valkorian is killed by a guy with terrible lightsaber fighting technic and a girl who doesn't even do anything.
Valkorion wasnt killed there.
He isnt dead
Didn't even die. Neither did Maul
This game needs remaster.
the music score is great
Why re the people mumbling about game animations and graphic and compare them to PRE-RENDERED CGI TRAILER and saying that they re bad? Like... yeah, they re worse then in trailer just like in every fcking game. WoW, TESO, FFXIV and every other MMO s have trailer that re cool af but ingame looks lot worse. ' cause its CGI trailers. If there was a mark "Ingame footage" then it would be a different conversation but wtf?
I feel that Marr's sacrifice could've been better. It would've been better if Marr did something more powerful, but BioWare threw him away
Darth Marr died like: "is... is just this?"
@@cartuchonovo2470 Definitely.
He didn't burn the Core Worlds like he promised!
That bastard lied to us
People of the core world, probably
I'm not even that sad that this didn't come for Console.
quick question so this takes place before vader and darth sidious right?
About 3000 years before, yes.
This doesn't take place in the Star Wars canon actually. It is its own thing.
Yes because they own it.
Thats called headcanon. The real canon will always be what Disney decides.
Dragonspheres Indeed, though legends or Disney Canon, it really depends on who's writing it. All writers have their own ups and downs. But anyways unfortunately Disney are the ones who has 4 billion dollars and can do whatever they please now....
Mandalorians and the knights of zakuul, the best characters ever in star wars canon
I only wish I could have genocide Zakuul tbh
Just realized this is quite similar to the last Jedi ending of the whole Kylo Ren and Snoke dynamic...
So sad for Marr. I liked him.
I can totally see Sam Neill playing Valkoryon
Ah...the old republic
Award winning animation here guys...
(yeah I know its FTP, just a little joke)
The cinematic trailers for this game are amazing, and then there's uh... whatever you call this
Temp3st60 you're saying the game is bad based off a single video of a cinematic on low settings ?
Special kind of brainrot this comment lmfao
Damn he killed Darth Marr with like a second of force lightning
I want Marrs Armor so badly
7:59 why does the subtitle says "Prince Arcann: ..." I thought he just got promoted into Emperor? :P
The graphics and animation look pretty good for a game for a pre Force Unleashed Star Wars game
