Amazing video mate!. The patience, the care u put into this repairings is really inspiring. Thank you so much. Greetings from Spain from an scenic 3 owner. Liked and subscribed.
very good video , thanks for mentioning the hub puller , had this problem with my Megane today , the disk is slightly moving to come off but it looks like the bearing is stuck ; ordered the tool and will try again
A good video once again, very easy to follow and understanding. It’s a pity that you are not my next door neighbour. I would know where to go to get my Renault scenic 3 sorted out at Mate rates 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Very good, informative video, thanks very much. I bought quite a few items including the iCarsoft through your links, I hope you get a few quid back from it. Re shot blasting the caliper holder - may I suggest a needle scaler would do a better job. I just chipped off the large flakes with a hammer on mine.
Thankyou. It's not something I have ever tried before. I'm currently using a wire wheel on a drill to clean up caliper brackets. That will be in my front discs and pads video on this car soon.
Awesome video! Extremely well presented and containing loads of useful info. You showed amazing care and attention to detail in your work. The mk 3 Scenic is an outstanding and underrated car, especially in 1.5 dci guise, but some work does seem a bit challenging and a little overly complex (like changing a cabin filter, which is a pig of a job on a right hand drive car, lol). PS, Change the oil at the very least every 12K / 12 months and the 1.5 dci will just keep on going. Thanks for the video.
Very informative video. Just a quick question about the disc's. The link is for ones that are without electronic handbrake, are these ok to fit as a replacement? Thanks again for your descriptive breakdown of the job.
If you put the same code or search for the same disc's in Eurocarparts in fitment detail it says "Without Electric Handbrake". I was checking prices, if they are ok then great!
Amazing video, liked and. Subscribed, confused about abs ring, when you were fitting new disc with abs ring you said to remember to remove it the cover, now you talking about removing old one with possible to fit it with the new one we're you said to remove it from new one z please explain, thanks
Most discs come with the ABS ring already fitted, the bit at the end of the video is to show how to swap the ABS ring from your old disc onto a new one if your new one didn't come with a ring fitted. Hope that clears it up.
@@SocketsAndSideburns but which were you removing from the new one as you said clearly remember to remove it that cover, plastic one not shown on video but you talking about removing from the old one knowing what you removed from old disc already existed on new one but also you have remove some plastic cover? So very confused when you saying if new one won't comes withnit, but with what please?
@@SocketsAndSideburns so what you saying there is discs with bearing with and without abs ring? Tried look on website can't find any, wonder if there is actually something possible to get discs with bearing without abs ring
The new discs I fitted came with new ABS rings already fitted. Some discs can be bought without ABS rings and even without bearings. So at the end I show how to swap them to help people who may have bought new ones without ABS rings. The cover I am referring to is one that is sometimes fitted to ABS rings on new discs for protection, it is thin and usually transparent so it is easily possible to forget to take it off. The new discs in this video did not come with this protective cover but many new ones do.

I cannot find where it says they are for non epb models. Where does it say that?

The only differences I'm aware of in discs is diameters. I used the discs in the link and they are fine.
Changing timing belt without lift is a pedestrian sexual adventure on this car) rear brakes also)
What is the name of your impact wrench
It is a Milwaukee High Torque.
