I have a couple of these boxes coming and your video is an excellent guide with some very good colour suggestions that really work. I'm pretty sure this is what I shall be following come my painting day 😊 Many thanks 😊
Great work on this tank! i agree with your ideas on doing what you want with your model, loads of my space marines are probably not 100% lore accurate but i like them and they are cool 😁
Love the result, I used a very similar approach to me WE tanks based on one of your other videos. Love the way the unified leadbeltcher dry brush brings everything together.
Another fantastic video I love the way you you get the message across - just bloody paint it..😂 I think a lot of us are in awe of the golden daemon youtube creators and are frightened to put brush to plastic, you come showing us how to paint it section by section and end up with something to be proud of.
All your painting videos are great, I went through a load of your old world, your stuff both feels reachable and also looks amazing. Like I dislike that you don’t think you are a great painter, you’re as good any painter on TH-cam. I would love if you were doing in person classes.
Really nice job on this one Andy, a really effective scheme for what is such a big model. One thing you didn’t mention was what this one was like to build? I’m hoping your not mentioning it is a good sign and that it actually wasn’t to bad 🤞.
If I put all my grey underneath the bed it would look like a scene out of The Exorcist - with the wife as Regan!!! Great job BTW - another sales lead achieved 😊
The onnly difference is that if you do that with normal brush you will have to take your time and it will not be as simple to have a clean surface with no brush marks. Excepted that, a real nice help. Thx
It looks great! I mean, I know that in the dark future, there were fancy gilded things that got weathered and run down over thousands of years, but if you needed an excuse...real world military stuff is a lot less fancy looking, even including 'realistic' weather effects, than modelers make it out to be. And if you ever see real life heraldry from the past, like in any museum in London, you'll see while they wanted to be colorful, it was also simpler. Painters, because we're really trying to make art, over sell the 'pop', whether with highlights or multi-color usage. And that's because, really, we're making an ideal image of something. So whenever you go simpler, it's really going more realistic anyway. And this looks plenty good with detail, besides :)
Looks amazing! If those models were available for admech in 40k I'd snatch them up in a second. Sadly I have neither the time nor brain space for a 3rd system after 40k and Old World.
Looks awesome, love your painting technique. I find when drybrushing metallics it leaves metal flakes all over the model. Maybe bad paint? Think I got some old vallejo game colors.
HI. What did you use so you could put your base khorne red in your air brush? Was it just water or did you need something else? Btw, awesome paint job! Many thanks.
I guess I'm "that guy". But why would a tank have those open panels exposing working parts? I feel like the best thing to do would be to cover the empty panels with armor plates. Which would make more sense and be easier to paint in the long run. Also leaves more room for decals, insignias, freehand work, weathering, detailing.
nice guide but tbh my usual projekts are using less different colors than yours but yea i do more with blending the colors when they are still wet for transitions.. also dryrushing for me is extremely inconsistent.. so i avoid it mostly anyway gonna have my own to paint in a day or two.. maybe i get the box done in one afternoon but i think i wont be having the calm for it midweek
I had a massive 30k Mechanicum army at one point - sold them all now. I love the whole range, but sadly have no intention of playing Heresy....must not buy new shiny plastic!
Bang for buck paint job! Can’t argue with the results!
Thanks man!
Hot damn that looks great, the silver dry brush never fails to look good, I need to do it more.
Gorgeous as usual Andy.

Looks awesome. Nice to see Ms MH adding her comments during editing.

Honestly it looks stunning. Thanks for an awesome video again
Goodness that looks amazing! Cheers mate!
Thank you! Cheers!
Those black metal tracks look fantastic. Going to have to keep that in mind for other things too.
Looks smashing, nice work as always!
Looks amazing 👌 really wish I painted my Shadowsword with this method, would of been so much easier
Loos real good mate, that drybrush just pulled detail out of the background
Fantastic video as always
Thank you as always!
Great video, I'm in a similar boat as far as not wanting to spend forever on this model/set!
Great process and results!
Cheers man!
Looks awesome! Are you going to return to Legions Imperialis? Your Imperial Fists vids were great!
Fantastic paint scheme as always i will say though the real highlight of your videos recently are lauras captions, she's killing it with the funnys!😂
Haha I’ll pass that on to her!
really enjoy your videos and the way you break out down for us new painters
Pretty slick!
Thanks!

Man, the dry brushing over the black and the tracks just make it. Nicely done, man.

great channel just found it keep up the good work
Good to have you here! Glad you liked it!
@@MediocreHobbies looks great
Brilliant as ever! The blue really works and makes the whole thing pop. I've been challenged to paint a Dark Mechanicum version. Any ideas?
The onnly difference is that if you do that with normal brush you will have to take your time and it will not be as simple to have a clean surface with no brush marks. Excepted that, a real nice help. Thx
Yeah it will take a lot longer but it's possible! Check out the previous video from the same set!
@@MediocreHobbies i will. Thx ;)

Think you can do some Dropfleet Commander when it comes back later this year? Maybe a bit of Dropzone too?
Looks amazing! If those models were available for admech in 40k I'd snatch them up in a second. Sadly I have neither the time nor brain space for a 3rd system after 40k and Old World.
You could probably use them anyway!
nice!
Thanks!

Ah the space train tank hybrid
Great paint job on that tank, I don't want the Army I just want this tank!
It will be out by itself after a few weeks probably!

All hail the TH-cam algorithm gods
very cool😎
thank you
Will you be doing the thralls?

It thrusts its powerful energy shields to protect it over actual armour panels. And obviously just for looks.
I would like to loot that Triaros Conveyour for my Orks
Oh man that would be cool!
