Wow.....I know youve been hyping this case up for a while (you tease) but if anything I think youve been underselling it a bit !!! Its a bit of a change from the norm and even though Im not a RGB fan I really like the fan layout ! Looks like its going to be a dream to build in and that LCD panel on the side looks like its going to make it stand out from the crowd and I dont think the £100 mark for all this case offers is unreasonable......nice one Thermaltake and thanks Mike and Kath for taking the time to showcase this bad boy ! ! !

Wow! I can understand your excitement last few weeks now lol Amazing attention to flexibility and build quality. So many options from geeky to practical! Why don't more cases have 140mm fans for intake/exhaust. Quieter, slower rotation and presume better longevity. Definitely will look great as show case even snowplough effect front panel lol Look forward to seeing the build video. Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath and hope the build continues to excite! 👍

Back in August of 2014, I got back into the computer building phase once again, and I opted for a Thermaltake Chaser A31 Thunder Edition ATX Mid Tower case in sapphire blue with the large transparent side window panel. The fans came with a single RGB color -- blue. I called it the "Blue Beast" and use it at the office for creating videos and other projects. It is still a good computer, and the Thermaltake case has held up well. It still has the Intel i7-4790 processor and I upgraded the original GTX 660 card I installed to a GTX 960.
For my home PC, I am ready for an upgrade.
Flash forward to 2023, and Mike has introduced me to the new Thermaltake Ceres 500 Snow.
I do believe I've just found my next chassis.
Thanks for the video, Mike and Kath.

Well Mike, you were so excited yo show us this case and I can see why, it's a beauty. However I would have like the front IO as low down as posible and that massive passthrough might have had a rubber gromit nevertheless it's very grand. £240 for the case and £116 for the LCD Panel, how mean of them. I look forward to the build Mike. I have never seen you use any ARGB PSU cables, perhaps you remember the The Airgoo I mentioned, we all know you love a bit of RGB.

Can the hard drive cage at the bottom be moved forward in case you have a bigger(1200 Watt) PSU? In my current build I had to (painstakingly) remove the hard drive cage at the bottom of my current case because there was just no way I would have been able to fit it in together with the power supply cables.
Also, does the case come in a non-RGB version? I am not big on Christmas lights in my cases and I just find them wholly unnecessary.
If the case comes in RGB & non-RGB versions, what's the pricing for both of them? Does it come in black?
Actually NVM! Maybe building in a white case is easier! 🤣

Hi, Mike. so, this is basically a single chamber version of my View 51 with three 140mm fans in the front instead of two 200mm fans. Nice. If ever you're going to do an open loop build, this is the case you should do it in. I know I'd love to build an open loop in it. I'll be building one in my View 51 soon. Just waiting for a new PSU to arrive so I can build a computer to use while I'm redoing my main PC. I sold all of my other PC builds. I figure with the painting and tube bending it might take a week or two to build my main system the way I want it. Great job with the case review, as always. Cheers, and happy new year!
