Harkon doesn't recognize you as a dovah, whether you killed the first dragon or not, but an interesting fact that I don't know if many people know, is that if you go through the Dawnguard questline without discovering your dragon heritage, that dragon in the Soul Cairn (can't remember the name) will refer to you as one of the same kind and your character will not know what he's talking about. Then he apologizes and continues with the quest. Once you discover you're dragonborn, you can come back for his shout.

I really wish Bethesda delved into Clan Volkihar a lot more. I found them to be intriguing and hooking, yet they become uninteresting and plain once the Dawnguard Main Questline is finished. It seemed Bethesda mainly focused their attention on Dawnguard rather than Clan Volkihar, which is a shame. They should have focused their attention on both rather than just one or the other. Still, I suppose revelling in my fantasy, through writing, of Clan Volkihar is suitable enough

Also i found a door while heading for the mother's lab which seemed to have a large skeleton with a deer head trapped under some rubble with 3 gold ingots and a gold Medalion... What is THAT things story? What is it or how did it get there? That castle is just so full of mysteries that are never solved.

They have the potential of one perhaps. They are still bound to a human body however. An outcast in the mortal world because they can grow to heights that no mortal can reach. And outcasted by the divines because they are too bound to mortal limitations.

Then there's the aspect of lore and the connection to the daedric lords. Honestly one of the most evil things one could do is to unwillingly transform someone into a vampire, and then killing them. Since a vampire's soul will go to Coldharbour, which is Molag Bal's plane of Oblivion, who is arguably the most evil daedric prince ever to exist. Werewolves however go to Hircine's realm, who is the daedric prince of hunting. The Hunting Grounds don't seem that bad, if you're into it, that is. Endless forest with prey that never goes extinct.
In terms of a pros vs. cons list I'd personally put werewolf above vampire lord mainly because I like being able to be able to regenerate stamina, magica, and health during the day
Werewolf is what got me into the game. I love playing as one. Sadly it doesn't scale up with the player so it will eventually become worthless. That is if you're not playing with mods.
If he had a spell to teleport our character like that why didn’t he use it during the final fight? He could’ve pulled a doctor strange where he could just loop us back outside until we give up. Obviously the game would be unplayable for us but that’s why they shouldn’t introduce broken powers like that in the first place

I wish they add a quest in the DLC where you can be a Hybrid without tricks, and added a Hybrid Form with skilltree abilities/perks. No weaknesses, just more powerful.

Dragonborns are people with the soul of a dragon, but they possess a mortal body.
They have the potential of one perhaps. They are still bound to a human body however. An outcast in the mortal world because they can grow to heights that no mortal can reach. And outcasted by the divines because they are too bound to mortal limitations.
A mortal is someone who can die. The Dragonborn is the prophesied hero but he can still die.

From what little I've seen of Skyrim, I think I'd want to be a werewolf the most. :p Lots of wolf stuff is cool. :?

Then there's the aspect of lore and the connection to the daedric lords. Honestly one of the most evil things one could do is to unwillingly transform someone into a vampire, and then killing them. Since a vampire's soul will go to Coldharbour, which is Molag Bal's plane of Oblivion, who is arguably the most evil daedric prince ever to exist.
Werewolves however go to Hircine's realm, who is the daedric prince of hunting. The Hunting Grounds don't seem that bad, if you're into it, that is. Endless forest with prey that never goes extinct.
In terms of a pros vs. cons list I'd personally put werewolf above vampire lord mainly because I like being able to be able to regenerate stamina, magica, and health during the day
Werewolf is what got me into the game. I love playing as one. Sadly it doesn't scale up with the player so it will eventually become worthless.
That is if you're not playing with mods.

If he had a spell to teleport our character like that why didn’t he use it during the final fight? He could’ve pulled a doctor strange where he could just loop us back outside until we give up. Obviously the game would be unplayable for us but that’s why they shouldn’t introduce broken powers like that in the first place
