Yeah they didn't make this mechanic very well in my opinion. I had to supplement through mods that actually made Investments worthwhile. I'm talking about purchasing houses and shops Farms mines and depending on how much you want back on your investment you could set the rent from low to high, and depending on which one you choose makes the NPC treat you differently, if the price is too high they actually might attack you if the price is too low they will treat you very well but you'll get less in your return, however it's still passive income. So is still much more worth then this stupid perk in vanilla Skyrim.

Everyone: thank you, it is very nice to work with you
Nerelion: ooooo, money
I thought this was going to be, like, stock traders and economists reacting to the investing mechanic in Skyrim.
Not the actual NPCs.
Its amazing how this game is still relevant after a decade of its release
"Because the only games that can be relevant decades in are Mario & Sonic, or something DnD related. Damn the game that has 100K+ in counting mods from thousands of authors in counting itching to make it better and better, with countless submitted screenshots & artwork let alone the lore to back it all." Right, lol.
Yea… pretty easy when it’s so modable… will be released 4 different times when November comes around… and was in an era when internet gaming was getting more popular and millennials were getting out of high school and becoming adults (the generation with the most “gamers” in it).
never knew you could do this because i didn't really level up speech on any of my playthroughs, might do it in the future...
There's a fletcher in Solitude.
am I the only one who didn't know you could do this? still amazes me a 10+ year game still has things to discover
Interesting fact invest in all the shops watch the town grow and beautify

Belethor: I'd even buy one of your relatives, if you're looking to sell.
Dunmer: Really?
Belethor: Ha ha ha ha. That's a little joke.
Dunmer: *Angry house Dres noises*
0:53 Why did this feel sarcastic? 😂
0:13 Belethor got 2020 vision
"I'd even buy one of your relatives!"
Me, an Argonian: ...
"You look rather pale. Could be ataxia."
Me, a vampire: ...
He can if he wants
Huh. Had no idea about investing in Skyrim.
I forgot how the characters look with out the beautifying mods 🤣🤣🤣
"What would an adventurer know about the complexities of finance?" Literally that adventurer is doing finance by investing.

You’d think such a great blacksmith could temper his ego

Huh, it is so strange to see someone not grabbing the iron by the hot end and hammering the cold end.
I didn’t know I needed this, thanks.
The first guy sound so familiar but I can't put my finger on it
Frida´s gona make me cry. She is just so nice
@1:21 the lowest dialog option is "What *are* you arguing about?" As soon as the assistant walks away, it changes to "What *were* you arguing about?"
1:21 Loving how Pete made his transition from Goofy’s rich assh*ole neighbor to Skyrim merchant.
Is no one gonna talk about Nurelion's apprentice teleporting behind him?
Everyone we invest in Skyrim: uses money to expand their business
Belethor: **buys something illegal*
I have never seen this despite playing Skyrim for over 8 years
Beirand is an honorable fella, a true family man.
Bro I have played Skyrim for years and never knew about this
i didn’t even know you could invest money lol
Belethor is so awful lol, man is always willing to sell his imaginary sis 😂
I'm taking it as an admission.
Maybe he was an lonely only child and all he wanted was a sister he could complain about from time to time.
maybe... he already sold her and his parents too, to think of it, no one knows about his family...
There have been speculations in the past that he's secretly a slaver. Just to how he always brings up selling people in a discussion I'm inclined to agree.
I always took it as a joke because he has the same va as the golden claw merchant who actually does have a sister
